ActivePresentation.SlideShowWindow.View.Next
End Sub
Sub PrintSlide()
SldNo = ActivePresentation.Slides.Count
ActivePresentation.PrintOptions.OutputType = ppPrintOutputSlides

Exellent explanation. Thnaking you.
thank you so much, big help to me
Very useful tutorial
This was great, I love your step-by-step explanation. How can I put the scorekeeping widget on every slide so it is always visible as I answer all the questions? I could not just copy it over to other slides. thanks
Hi! You can change the slide-layout of all the question slides to the one that has the Scoreboard on it!
I love this. Is there a way to have points for more than one player? I am a teacher, and I like to have the students play with teams.
ruclips.net/video/Yd5wPOVVG7M/видео.html yes! I made this one for a teacher. Please tell me if you need something of that sort.
My email is 2002bhavesh@gmail.com, we can communicate further if you're interested.
Thank you!
Edit: have you seen the other parts of this tutorial? I have also added percentages in part 6(if I'm right).
Bhavesh Shaha Yes, this video was perfect. I will email you after I try to make my quiz. My kids like to keep team points.
Yeah that'd be great. I also do freelancing and you can also purchase the full version with custom designs and animations as per your choice for a very small fee.
Thank you!
If You guys find out a way for team Work do let me know!
For the sake of getting an A for my CALL Assignment, I’ll be using your idea. You are indeed a genius! Thank you for sharing 🤍🤍🤍
Ayyy! Thank you so much! Get that grade xD ace that test. Good luck. I have 6 more parts to this if you want to impress your professor.
@@PPTVBA I’ve subscribed you, I’ll check it out soon! God bless you in whatever you do 🥺🙏🏼✨
@@anissofia2332 ay thank you xD
@@PPTVBA sir, why if we save our point point to power point macro enabled show, we cannot write the answers in fill in the blank activity. It must be saved for pp macro enabled presentation hmmmmmm
Yes. Anything involving macros or activex element must be saved as .ppsm or .pptm
This is to differentiate normal presentation and a presentation that contains visual basic code.
it's very usefull thanks alot
Amazing
Thank you so much! It really helps a lot. GBU
Glad the PowerPoint Quiz Game helped you out!
this is awesome 😀
Great video! Thanks. Have you made a tutorial on adding music and sound effects?
I'll be certainly making one on this real soon. Thank you for suggesting.
hi, muy buenos los videos.. interesantes. gracias por compartirlos
muchas gracias :)
I subscribed:) because of ur awesome video
Thank you :)
Hi Bhavesh! I just recently saw your video and this tutorial was amazing. Thank you so much! I have teams for the powerpoint game I am using and I want to add or subtract points to each team. If there is a way to do this, I would really appreciate it :D
ruclips.net/video/3WbJCGoSzhU/видео.html
This video is what you would need.
XD THANKS A TON :D
Thanks again! :)
Hi Bhavesh... Good Work... Keep it up... Really very useful.... Can you also provide coding for scoring along with time line... ???
"Scoring along with time line..."
Wait. What?
I'm unable to understand your query.
thanks a lot for your sharing it
Ammmmmazing.. keep it up.. and your voice is soooo sweet.. god bless.
Ahaha thanks a lot! This video was upload a long time back! Please do watch the entire playlist!
Thank you soo much
Merci beaucoup
This is very helpful! Is there a way to do this quiz with multiple correct answers?
Thanks a lot for making this Tutorial. it really helped me to clear my doubt. i have one question that is how to add score for different participants, for example, let's say there are 4 to five participants. please help me out. Thaks
I have a premium template for this at my website- www.pptvba.com
I make multiple scorrboards in a slide master (tutorial on my video) and enbed them along with my question slides!
so, followed everything step by step but when I got to the part to click on layout and select masterslide view, I didn't have that option... where did I go wrong?
Thanks for your nice tutorial. It helps me learn. Can you tell me what the purpose of the parentheses is in this line of your code:
Points.Caption = (Points.Caption) + 10
By adding parentheses, it assumes it to be a number instead of text. For eg: 5 + 10 = 510, (5) + 10 = 15.
Very well explained thank you so much ! Is there a way to add a countdown that will automatically stops the quiz after 20 min? And is there a way to send the score with student's name in another excel spreadsheet? That would be super helpful !
Yeah! There is a way to sent the results in a spread sheet. I'm not sure about the 20 minute timer though. I know of a way to add individual timers for each question.
I'll make the excel video by this week.
Bhavesh Shaha amazing ! Thank you so much ! If there is not a way to add a countdown, is there a way to add in the excel spreadsheet as well as in the PowerPoint how many minutes the student took to do the test ?
And one last thing if possible, could you please show how to do an automatic ranking in the excel spreadsheet with the best score ?
And maybe at the end of the score a kind of : TADADADA ring, to show results 😂 just to make it funnier hahaha
(Even if you showed us half of it I would be forever grateful !) That would be literally a BLESSING !
Have a nice day ! And can’t wait to see the video coming !
I know that you do not require this feature because this comment is long due but I release the tutorial: ruclips.net/video/oGpbLDyjGrY/видео.html where we can send data to excel. It could be helpful for people going through the comments section.
You are doing great. I am using it for my blogger
What is your blogger site?
@@PPTVBA bktmexfeed.blogspot.com/
First I want to add the provision for skipping the question. Just like a exam... Anyway you are doing a great job.... Can I use your material with your permission?
Yes! feel free to use this for education. I only forbid people who re-purpose my video/file/code and make another tutorial on this.
thanks a lot
Thank you for a great video! 😍 And can you teach me how to do 'if the result = 10 then go to slide 1, else go to slide 2'? Thank you very much!
Yes, gladly! This is the code:
If SlideLayoutXX.CA = 10 Then
ActivePresentation.SlideShowWindow.View.GotoSlide (1)
Else
ActivePresentation.SlideShowWindow.View.GotoSlide (2)
End If
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Amazing job! Subscribed and liked. Do you know if it's possible to run this on a tablet? It works perfectly on my computer but the macro doesn't work on my tablet. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A.
Thank you very much.
I used VBA-macros which work only with PCs.
However, they are many many alternatives for making a quiz game which works in Mobile.
The most simplest way is to make a web-based quiz, you basically use hyperlinks and host them on a free server.
Or, you could make an android quiz game, which requires you to know coding.
I will be making a tutorial on that, it's on my list.
I also work as a freelancer, contact me at 2002bhavesh@gmail.com
Thank you.
Thank you so much for your reply! I ended up making this quiz game for an event at work and everybody loved it, including my boss =) Just did it on my computer which was good. Please make the tutorial on the android game! That would be awesome. =) Which coding language do you use for that, is it Javascript? And thanks for your contact, I will for sure hit you up when the need arises at work.
Best, Therese
Glad to hear that the event was a success!
Alright, I'll be making for mobile real soon!
Yes, JavaScript is used for that.
tnx for the help.. God bless
Thank you for your tutorial, it's extremely helpful. How can I modify the codes to create multiple response questions?
This is a good topic! I shall put this on my to-do list. I'll try to make a tutorial on this by the month-end.
hi grt stuff can we highlight the right answer when someone clicks on
the wrong one or in the msg box can we mention the right answer.
please suggest that will be grt help. thanks in advance
Thank you so much for your great sharing. Could you please share how to input the tester's name in the quizzes results ?
Yes, please watch the consecutive parts of this series. I've put the links in the description.
Hi Bhavesh, Thanks for this wonderful tutorial. I'm able to follow your instructions and make a PPT based Quiz with scores and its working awesome.
I've a question: how to increase the font size of the message like "Correct Answer" or "Wrong Answer" and is it also possible to add music on clicking the Correct answer and a different music on clicking the Wrong answer.
Please help.
1. Yes. Music can certainly be added. Click the shape, go to insert > actions > mouse click > play sound.
2. If you reduce the resolution of your monitor, the message box should become bigger.
Another way to implement your idea is by typing that in the slide and making that appear with the help of animation triggers.
There's another method to do that too. We can make a UserForm and use that as a messagebox.
Teşekkürler.
Love this... How would you set up a score board for two teams, that is, two scores and finally, a winner
You can incorporate a scoreboard in your PowerPoint via this: ruclips.net/video/wmkNUhjf57E/видео.html
Hi! This is a very good tutorial! I am a little nervous to try it out for what I need it for and wanted to ask your thoughts. I am a preschool director and I must give baseline testing to all the children; however, our learning goals are not like other schools so a regular test does not work well for our needs. Do you think I can add shapes and colors, etc. for the students to visually see the question since they are not reading at this age? Also, for a beginner , how long do you think it will take me to create something specifically for my school? Lastly, are you available for higher? Honestly we do not have very big budgets at my school; however, I would like to know if this is something you could create for us. Kind regards, and thank you again for the post.
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, shapes and colours can be added as per your creative needs to the maximum extent possible in Microsoft PowerPoint. For example, you can have picture-answers instead of the boxes which contain the answer; clicking on the picture will give a point, and you can have lots of animations etc. I think I'll need to know more factors to properly determine how much time it would take to make something like this- How many questions? How many slides? Extra features? Amount of Animations? Designs? etc. I'd like to know more information at 2002bhavesh@gmail.com to know if I can do this because currently I'm in Grade 10 in India and have very important exams so I will be unable to say for sure.
Thank you.
I haven't heard back from you. Are you still interested?
interesting I'll make this in my research
I wish you all the best!

amazing tutorial! just asking if there would be a way to make the player win if they get 3 or more points and lose if they get anything below 3?
Yep! Definitely! We can have multiple if then conditions and get that to occur. Can you please detail how you'd want the win/lose to be indicated?
cool! i have an end screen, and i would like a text box on the screen to say that you won when you get 3 or more, or say that you lost when you get less than 3
@@helloeaes5701 ah got it! Do check the later tutorial parts where I explain how to have a report card. You can use a similar method to have a conditional congratulations text.
Hello and a big thank you for your explanation. I have a question. Can these games be used online?
Unfortunately VBA is compatible only with the offline PowerPoint Application in Windows and MacOS.
Very nice explained. Is there also a possibility that there is a sound when the message good or wrong is coming?
Yes! You can add a trigger animation for the audio clip which is run when the appropriate shape is pressed.
@@PPTVBA Can you show me how this could be done?
I'll make a tutorial in a few days!
@@PPTVBA I will use this game next monday, should it be possible before next monday?
Thanks this was great!, is there anyway I can integrate this into a presentation? I followed the instructions and the quiz worked, but when I added in other slides (for the presentation) it stopped working (when I click slideshow - from the beginning, it doesn't allow me to go to the next slide in that view). Let me know, cheers :)
