There are not enough words in the dictionary to praise and admire Ustad Mehdi Hasan saheb singing of ghazal.I believe in miracles and Ustad Mehdi Saheb is indeed a miracle.

This ghazal has been sung by many legendary singers like NFAK, Jagjit Singh and Hariharan but I failed to witness anyone match the class of Mehdi Hassan.
He was a friend of my father. My father told me he was a very nice person. My father listened to "Shaula tha jal bujha hoon" when he sang it for the first time in a private concert before it was released to audio.
