2 things! 1. Can you possibly post a written build/guidelines for this one specifically??? I love Ermac but this build not only encapsulates him, but also I feel it encapsulates what a warlock can do. Not all of what the class can do obviously, but a good unique route as from “I use eldritch blast.... creature takes 36 force damage and is pushed away.” Which I really like! 2. Could we possibly see a Noob Saibot build from MK11??? I’m guessing shadow sorcerer and way of shadows monk would be a good fit but I’m sure you’d be able to come up with something even better than that.
Sounds good, i try to keep things to an absolute minimum for splat books and the like with these 5e vids, mainly because my 3.5 book collection is enormous and I don't want to go that route again. the ideas is people can build things with only the core rules. still, i'll have a look around the internet and see what there is to say on mystic.
I'm going to check this out, I enjoy the idea of an evocative Ermac style character. But the most important question is...who is the patron?? I could imagine a reflavor of the GOO being the " Soul Swarm" this warlock has enslaved
Drow Bard I have a quick warlock question and I was hoping you could be kind enough to answer it for me. If you take improved pact weapon and you choose a longbow when you summon it do you get arrows as well? I know with some alternate patrons and invocations it specifies the bow and how it generates the arrows. But in the normal improved pact weapon I don't believe it specifies one way or the other.
Telepathy (8th level evocation) does work both ways, but Awakened Mind (first special feature of the Pact of the Great Old One) doesn't - the "target" of the ability can't reply
@@trequor maybe too late, but here's the answer from WOTC themselves: dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/sageadvice_july2015 Does the warlock’s Awakened Mind feature allow two-way telepathic communication? The feature is intended to provide one-way communication. The warlock can use the feature to speak telepathically to a creature, but the feature doesn’t give that creature the ability to telepathically reply. In contrast, the telepathy ability that some monsters have (MM, 9) does make two-way communication possible.
I knew i wanted warlock to be my first character but couldn't figure out how i wanted to play it. This is definitely it! thanks for the great video.
Glad you like it, hope the info in the vids helps yo with your theme.

Noob Saibot would be fighter echo knight with unarmed fighting style. Would be very cool
Maybe a few lvls in monk as well.
Way of the open hand seems pretty useful here.
I know, but i Didn't want to over do it. still, the point is valid.
Very nice. Thanks
3 levels of Mystic: Order of the Soul Knife and 17 levels of Warlock: Pact of the tome. Also good for Rogue: Assassins and Monk: Way of the Shadow.

1:25 where does this assertion come from? Telepathy, as defined in the monster manual, goes both ways
Telepathy (8th level evocation) does work both ways, but Awakened Mind (first special feature of the Pact of the Great Old One) doesn't - the "target" of the ability can't reply
@@Between_Scylla_and_Kharybdis Why not? The wording of the ability does not say otherwise. It says that you can "speak telepathically"
