This was filmed about three weeks before they announced their abrupt closure. I still can't believe it! This may be one of the last videos ever taken of it. Hopefully folks will still enjoy seeing it and the views it offered. I was really hoping a new restaurant will take over the space because it's just too beautiful to go to waste but it sounds like the people that bought it have other plans.
@marythegirlygirl oh ok, my girlfriend wanted me to take her there but we missed out. I'm sad that it's gone but at least we can experience it through this video. A lot of people think of the Hancock as the "Chris Farley building" since this is where he lived and sadly passed away.
@@elliott_void_live that’s right, that’s so sad. I know it’s known for a lot of things but that’s the saddest. Well I’m glad you could enjoy the restaurant virtually through this video! I almost forgot I had made it!
@@gluecementyes, crazy how it closed abruptly just a couple weeks later! I read the space was purchased by the operator of the observation deck on the 94th floor, and that they do not intend to put another restaurant there. They are considering several options and say whatever it ends up being will open in 2026.
What a view from the Signature Room ...Nice to see Navy pier from that height...Great shots!!!
Great views and great video!
What a view
@@BrianHornak thank you, I sure did! There’s always a good time to be had in Chicago! ❤️
I miss the days when people would dress up to go out. I still like to, especially since my work apparel is casual.
@@PatrickMcNealPuppets-n-Things I’m with you there!
What???? I thought that closed down last year?

Lucky you got in just in time. I wonder what will become of the space.
