@@HwhatDaHyell I have 200+ steam games (from AAA to indie to early access) and recently picked up project zomboid. it's super dated. I've had enough experience with enough games to know lmfao. It literally feels like a 10+ year old game. Don't get me wrong. It's still enjoyable but it's age does show alot if you're played alot of newer games and have a good enough GPU to truly experience modern gaming.
This was an awesome trailer. It really captured the tone of the title, reminds me a lot of an updated version of Flesh Feast from 1998, but made bigger and meaner in every way. As Leosly said, the world-building here is really on point. Definitely feels dreadful seeing all those zombies flood the areas. Cool stuff.

Two different games, wish people would stop comparing just because they're both isometric zombie games. This is more story and settlement focused instead of pure survival.

The only thing that compares these two is the camera angle and zombies. If you're expecting a PZ like experience you'll be let down. This looks like more of a tower defense game with zombies. (Looks awesome though!)

I remember playing a game a old game called "Zombie infection" by gameloft studios on my Nokia phone back in the day. This game reminds of that. Definitely buying this game.
Hi. The game looks great! As a game developer, though, I hope you don't take the UI too lightly. The game, from the trailer, is very reminiscent of project zomboid, but I sincerely hope it differs from the latter mainly by the UI, because project zomboid UI is far from intuitive and easy to use. Be sure not to neglect the principles of usability! Again, as a developer, it already looks like a great job. Congratulations! :)
@@yungweezer That's not the point. The problem lies in the fact that there is too much time to be wasted in reading the recipes, zero icons, too large drop-down menus. On the OS file browser you have to waste time for work, but for a game where maybe you have just an hour to play you don't want to waste 30 minutes just to read all the recipes written only with item names and with zero icons, making it harder to memorize. I'm not the only one that says it, a lot of users on reddit and the usability principles also say that, which I encourage you to study since you simplify the argument so much to "but it's like the file browser anyway, it's not difficult." No, it's not difficult, but a user often doesn't have hours to waste learning the mechanism of PZ file system. Remember that the overwhelming majority of gamers are casual and don't have much time to waste on a video game. Trust a game dev who has studied these topics :)
Basically someone took Zomboid and said, what if, what if there was NPC's you could interact with, and story events going on all around you... Neat idea.
Please add the option to scale the resolution, my computer is not very good, and to play the game with at least more than 30 or depending up to 20 fps I am forced to go to the settings of my computer and lower the resolution, if they added it to the game in addition to facilitating this, it would increase fps of many people who do not have a good computer
Im glad this isn’t like the movies where the military, nor the survivors could contain the madness. Usually in movies the military sucks, but a group of survivors can easily survive?
