Nice set. These decks hold a steady beat amazingly well. My 1210’s are good but they don’t stay locked together as long as these do. Might have to upgrade!
I picked up a pair of these a few months ago and totally agree with you. I had 1200's and couldn't afford to get another set. These while not feeling quite as sharp as 1200's have been a treat. I spin 90's hard trance, techno , acid and long mixes are where it's at. Great set also and really great skills mixing !!!
@@jacobhemmerlin what do you mean by not being quite as sharp? i am planning to pick up a pair, but have never really been using 1200sm so i dont really get it. Thanks in advance:)
@danielszomor5025 compared to the earlier 1200's models (mk,2,3 or 5's) they are not quite as solid and yes the pitch is different. It's a feel that technics had, smoothness. With that being said for the price and compared to mk7's I would 100% support you buying the rp 7000mk2's!! They are really good 👍. Especially compared to technic mk7's. And out the super oem tables I think the best. They are just not quite as good as mk2's, mk3' or mk 5's. Like 95% of those. Get them though you won't regret it.
I have the same setup except for the mixer. I use Reloop RP7000mk2 and Ortofon Concorde Club Mk2 cartridges. I'm curious, how do you use the anti-skating and tone armin height adjustment? Sometimes I try to play Traktor Control Vinyl on a dvs system and it seems like my settings aren't quite right.
I have technics decks for over 25 years (never repaired or serviced and still working perfectly fine). Recently I got Reloop and made me appreciate Technics even more. I can’t even compare. It’s like Mac Book pro vs cheap windows laptop. Good mix btw.
love technics, they feel proper, i restored one. problem is buying a proper one these days is hard and very expensive, i've saved probably hundreds doing my own service. reloops are decent but i'd say like 30-40% leave the factory with shaky a## tonearm bearings that ruin dampening. I've had one 4 years now and it's holding up great, but the tonearm is booty compared to technics. also, there's many people out there in the technics industry that do very shoddy work, so watch out. you think you're helping a local business and you get shafted with barely put together decks. mine was sold missing the inner cab... u never know.
I disagree... I used to have SL1200mk2 and one of those Reloops as a pair. Built quality of RP7000mk2 is comparable to Technics. They look bit weird, but feels great. For me, after many years of mixing on CDJs, Reloops feels right at home 🥰
I had Technics all along, just when I had my first CDJ 2000 I sold them I thought I'd keep using digital dj equipment and serato whatsoever, so I'd not needing vinyl decks anymore.. But after sometime I've realised I miss the touch of that platter and the Vinyl.. I would go buy new but hey.. Technincs just announced that's it no more Mk2 serials.. I needed a solution so I went to DjKit in Newbury and there they were Pioneer PLX1000 and Reloop RP7000-8000 Mk2s I had the money and I thought I'd walk home with the PLX1000s.. But after I tried them I started to hate them right away.. Than I went to try the RP7000 and .. Still have them ever since, (2017) zero issues.. Build quality superb..Sturdy as it should be. Mate I tried Mk7s.. They are JOKE.. I just need an answer why and how those decks got the Technics logo... A profit oriented cheap poo.. I'd keep my reloops can mix on them my huge vinyl collection and do the job perfectly even in clubs.. I would not get Mk2s most of the are need repair or they are filled with garbage cheap OM parts and sold as upgraded, nice near new looking and they'll ask your kidney for them.. No thanks.. If you are looking a pair of good decks which would not let you down and not too much expensive.. Reloop is a perfect choice..

@@lp6132 yup. they also have a torque adjust, so if they do move out of place, it is easier to get them back in place, but I have yet to encounter that issue with these
Thanks! And yes - i use line outputs, but i don't recommend that - on compressed YT video doesn't matters, but preamps on good mixer like mine xone:23 will sound quite bit better
Proper techno with very good mixing skills, enjoyed it! When you mix in a club, do you use the same setup in terms of always having headphones on both ears, just using the cue buttons and never touching the cue/mix knob? I ask due to the cue/mix on Xones having that drop in volume at 12 o'clock, in which case I find I have to adjust the headphones volume too, which is not great.
Thanks for your comment 🙂This is very good question 👍 this volume issue is really annoying on Xone mixers. In the club i use headphones on both ears for beatmatching and take them off entirely for transitions, so i pretty much don’t need to use cue/mix knob .
Great equipment and set, mate! Congrats! Would you be so kind as to let me know what rca cables you’re using on this video? I’m looking to substitute the ones on my pair of MK2s. Thanks a lot. Cheers!

Hi ! Can I use CrossLE (Mixvibes) with my Xone 23C to play in DVS mode ? (I have 2 Audio Technica LP120 USB and 2 Pioneer SDJ50X) Is my (low budget) soundsystem great ? What are the benefits of buying an interface (Serato or Traktor for example) ?
DJF8 sent it back. Main reason was the preamp on the phono inputs are way way too low. the two simultaneous inputs on each channel share the same preamp circuit. So to avoid blowing the crap out of preamp, since it's shared with the line in, they deliberately kept it low. Terrible if all you use is phono. The rest of the mixer was actually ok. I've always had a xone. Still using the 22. Awesome little mixer.
Hey! I have exactly the same setup as you. just received everything recently. I little bit confused by the level of the noise both monitor/headphones using phono inputs - to test it i just power on my turntable and check the noise before starting the vinyl record (a little bit less when i'm using line inputs). As i can see you are using line inputs, did you find it sounds better with line input ? cuz it's not logical. The built-in preamp of the mixer should be better than the built-in preamp of rp 7000(imho). I aslo see you are using some custom rca wires are they also affect sound quality and noise level?
