PRO Techno vinyl DJ mix Reloop RP7000mk2 Allen & Heath XONE:23
I was looking at these decks a few years back, I went with Stanton ST.150 M2 with straight tone arm, Technics were way out my price range doubled in price now day's
Great! Which turntable stylus do you recommend for scratching?
how can the master volume almost be at 0 ? are you mixing through headphones ?
Yes! I turn off channel cue buttons and go to master mode for transtions ;)
can i ask what you use to record on vinyl please :)
En años anteriores tuve 2 pares de technics 1200, luego tuve que venderlos, y despues compre un par de Reloop 8000, me impresionó la estabilidad y el torque. Muy cercano a la calidad de una 1200
Send this link to anyone talking s**t about digital pitch control "not staying locked in" on these turntables. Great stuff
I picked up a pair of these a few months ago and totally agree with you. I had 1200's and couldn't afford to get another set. These while not feeling quite as sharp as 1200's have been a treat. I spin 90's hard trance, techno , acid and long mixes are where it's at. Great set also and really great skills mixing !!!
@@jacobhemmerlin what do you mean by not being quite as sharp? i am planning to pick up a pair, but have never really been using 1200sm so i dont really get it. Thanks in advance:)
@danielszomor5025 compared to the earlier 1200's models (mk,2,3 or 5's) they are not quite as solid and yes the pitch is different. It's a feel that technics had, smoothness. With that being said for the price and compared to mk7's I would 100% support you buying the rp 7000mk2's!! They are really good 👍. Especially compared to technic mk7's. And out the super oem tables I think the best. They are just not quite as good as mk2's, mk3' or mk 5's. Like 95% of those. Get them though you won't regret it.
Amazing mix and skills. What is the name of the track on the blue vinyl?
ça sert à quoi de toucher 3 fois le potar de gain en 30 secondes sans que sa graduation n'ai bougé d'1mm? ça s'appelle de la branlette...
Hahaha :D Ja bym powiedział że to precyzja :D Przy waleniu konia wykonuję bardziej zdecydowane ruchy.
👍👍
Hello! I noticed that your left channel is sometimes louder than your right. This is noticeable in the mixer display. I have the same equipment and the same problem. Is this an acceptable imbalance for this cartridge?
To be honest i've never noticed / heard that ;) Difference that shows sometimes between left/right on the display doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with cartridge - records are in stereo - when mixing 2 tracks one chanel of one record can interfer differently with second track than the other channel. Also often record can be little unbalanced and there is also matter of stereo mix of particular track. If you hear, that there is something wrong i would try another system or do some measurment.
@@djf8550 If you are interested, please take measurements in the program on your PC. I measured it in adobe audition. Most of my recordings (including new ones) have an average amplitude of about 1.5dB louder in the left channel. on both cartridges.
@@01e Ok, that's interesting! I have some ripped tracks recorded without mixer i will check out and see if there is similar difference
@@01e So... I've made 1 bar loop (kick drum and bass only) out of the record, and measured left and right signal with average time set to 10 sec on the meter - perfect match -15.9 db, second track i've tested (here loop is more intense with hihat - and hihat sound differently on left and right chanel) 0.1db difference. this are recorded on one of systems, so i can't tell if the other one works that well. If you have similar 1.5db results on both systems, maybe check mixer / preamp / recording interfece - simply swap left/right cables from the turntable - if results are "reversed" - there is a problem with system / turntable if you have same result - problem is on the amp/ mixer / interface
I connected a digital source and everything was fine with it
Dope set :) are you using the line input on your turntables?
Thanks! And yes - i use line outputs, but i don't recommend that - on compressed YT video doesn't matters, but preamps on good mixer like mine xone:23 will sound quite bit better
whats so capslock-PRO about this set?
HAHA :D Yeah, that Was a lie. But you've clicked, so i tricked you!
a "PRO" capslock DJ with less than 300 followers. Allright, playboy.
Yeah, the title is "optimized" but it works :D
so PRO level is defined by followers according to you?
Larger audience, exceptional skills and the lack of unecessary boasting. That is ‚PRO‘ for me. None of which applies here, sadly! Fairwell. 😌
minus 6..? Nice mix bud..!
Arr The Reloop RP7000 Mk 2. I hsve my trusty 12,10`z. But love, these Reloops. Big Bang Buck!! For Choice.
Why have the pitch set so low with the first 2 tracks ?
Nice music. Whats the track at 5.00 ?
what’s the first track ? 🚀

I have technics decks for over 25 years (never repaired or serviced and still working perfectly fine). Recently I got Reloop and made me appreciate Technics even more. I can’t even compare. It’s like Mac Book pro vs cheap windows laptop. Good mix btw.
technics were well built, macbooks are flashy garbage.
love technics, they feel proper, i restored one. problem is buying a proper one these days is hard and very expensive, i've saved probably hundreds doing my own service. reloops are decent but i'd say like 30-40% leave the factory with shaky a## tonearm bearings that ruin dampening. I've had one 4 years now and it's holding up great, but the tonearm is booty compared to technics. also, there's many people out there in the technics industry that do very shoddy work, so watch out. you think you're helping a local business and you get shafted with barely put together decks. mine was sold missing the inner cab... u never know.
I disagree... I used to have SL1200mk2 and one of those Reloops as a pair. Built quality of RP7000mk2 is comparable to Technics. They look bit weird, but feels great. For me, after many years of mixing on CDJs, Reloops feels right at home 🥰
I had Technics all along, just when I had my first CDJ 2000 I sold them I thought I'd keep using digital dj equipment and serato whatsoever, so I'd not needing vinyl decks anymore.. But after sometime I've realised I miss the touch of that platter and the Vinyl.. I would go buy new but hey.. Technincs just announced that's it no more Mk2 serials.. I needed a solution so I went to DjKit in Newbury and there they were Pioneer PLX1000 and Reloop RP7000-8000 Mk2s I had the money and I thought I'd walk home with the PLX1000s.. But after I tried them I started to hate them right away.. Than I went to try the RP7000 and .. Still have them ever since, (2017) zero issues.. Build quality superb..Sturdy as it should be. Mate I tried Mk7s.. They are JOKE.. I just need an answer why and how those decks got the Technics logo... A profit oriented cheap poo.. I'd keep my reloops can mix on them my huge vinyl collection and do the job perfectly even in clubs.. I would not get Mk2s most of the are need repair or they are filled with garbage cheap OM parts and sold as upgraded, nice near new looking and they'll ask your kidney for them.. No thanks.. If you are looking a pair of good decks which would not let you down and not too much expensive.. Reloop is a perfect choice..
Those reloops seem holding tight
Its crazy the amount of pitch issues people complain about with the newer digital hanpin tables. Yet I constantly see people posting great mixes exp with the reloops. Also a lot of long mixes too. Im beginning to think its a bit of gatekeeping going on with 1200 esp the mk2s. Im a 6 plus year controller dj who's transitioning to vinyl and finally bought a mk3d from Japan. I almost want to buy a reload to pair it with once i feel I have it down enough to see if there really is any extremest noticeable difference lol
Nice Set and Mix . i like it
Zamiata ;)
Better than 1200 mk2?
This is my personal opinion: i like them more than 1200’s ;)
bad mixer dude lol
No it isnt lol
i like the under deck lighting mixer seems more like the one i need
Two start/stop switches? Is that for when they are sideways?
Exactly!

I have the exact same setup and it's simply incredible to play records on it
I have the same setup except for the mixer. I use Reloop RP7000mk2 and Ortofon Concorde Club Mk2 cartridges. I'm curious, how do you use the anti-skating and tone armin height adjustment? Sometimes I try to play Traktor Control Vinyl on a dvs system and it seems like my settings aren't quite right.
I was just searching through xone 23 reviews and stumbled upon, this is fire set thank you
Awesome. Cool setup.
have the same setup, but I noticed you changed the RCAs and are not using the original. Also, no grounding, how come?
What kind of RCAs are those? And, do they improve a lot the sound compared to the original ones?
@@DJAngeloNZ Chroma cables here in EU are even more expensive than those... Anyway, he is not even playing in phono but in line, as you see no grounding is attached, he is using the preamp of the turntable and has switched the line output on. Interesting approach
Hi umm why did you connect the turntables to the digital input?
This mixer dosen’t have any digital inputs it’s 100% analog ☺️ turntables are connected to line inputs, because this players have line level output switch and these fancy cables dosen’t work well with phono signal 😂
@@djf8550 well i own the xone 23 too and i use both phone inputs and 1 line input for an xdj so i wondered if your turntables are amplified
Mach mal bitte wieder ein neues Set ✌️🙂🎶
Hi. What speakers and ampli are you using?
How you connect the mixer with speakers? Do you have active speakers? Nice set btw!!
Hello, can you say me the track ID at 57:30 ?
What about the bass quality of this mixer than pioneer 250 mk2
got a set of these to replace my PLX 1000's. very happy with them
Do they hold the pitch better than the plx 1000’s ?
@@lp6132 yup. they also have a torque adjust, so if they do move out of place, it is easier to get them back in place, but I have yet to encounter that issue with these
@@zogozogy98 are these better than the technic mk7’s and technic gr ?
@@lp6132 I haven't personally owned any Technics, but I have heard they are one of the best OEM turntables on the market
Sick mate, just ordered these today to learn vinyl on. This set made me 10x more excited. Raw
Also what needles do you have mate if you don't mind?
Seem to be latest Concorde Club
@@alfonsolizarazo9806 thank you:)
@@bigbeatmanifesto6517 dont get the concorde club if you plan on making your records last. Get the ortofon concorde dj or mix mk2
Nice set. These decks hold a steady beat amazingly well. My 1210’s are good but they don’t stay locked together as long as these do. Might have to upgrade!
They just need a bit of love...pitch calibration maybe?
@@DjEliasL what model did you bought?
I recommend having them serviced. My 30 year old Technics are totally in sync after I recently gave them their first service 😉
hi mate, was going to purchased some re loop 7000 mk2 are they as good as technics?
Le doy un 4.3 por el esfuerzo
Love de mixing skills and the right music!:P
you rare...the few that got good taste on music in RUclips.
The second I heard taming the passion playing I pressed like, you have my exact taste in music and the same gear as me but wayyy better skills hahaha Fair play lad
Yep, good mixing skills
Hi have you mixed on Technics before? How would you compare to the Reloop's if you have?
💣
how do you think about 7000?
@@DLS_it Best players ever made! Seriously 😊
@@djf8550 thanks, next week i go to buy
Track ID 25:00 love it!
