Disheartening to say the least. He's really got a lion's heart. He could've retired based on the money hes made and the his age. But he chooses not to cause he misses the game too much to let it go like that.
Murray, win or loss can definitely hang his head up high knwoing he did absolutely everything in his power to compete against the young guns.

Murray siempre será el big four, al lado del gran Federer, de la bestia Nadal y de Nole

Machac got lucky! Good play but if Murray didn't cramp, was looking like Murray would win.

Murray should have changed his game to play more at the net post hip surgery. There aint no way he is beating any young top 25 good baseliner now with his condition, unless he forces more net points.

My respects to Murray. In spite of his age, he is the most talented player: more than Federer, Nadal and Jockovy .

Act like your career is over, hobble over to your bench, wait for physio while whincing, take off your sock (important!), put sock and shoe back on, play like nothing happened unless you lose the point then limp like you need a wheelchair.

      Rolled his ankle. Genuine injury
1:31 You see his left ankle go just as Machac misses in the net
