    I found your Ornament & Crime tutorials to be very insightful. Do you prefer the Oxi One as a hub over the modular paradigm or is it complimentary rather than mutually exclusive?

    • @SynthDad
      @SynthDad  Год назад +3

      I find they do complement each other. I use the O_C for patch-specific sound generation duties and the Oxi One for more overall control of a patch

    Fantastic tutorial! Will you do also others on the random perform and generator, and the stochastic and matriceal modes? Thanks!

      I covered random generator and Stochastic modes in one of my first videos on the Oxi One. Take a look at that and let me know what you think. I'll definitely do a video on Matriceal mode. Thanks for watching!

      @@SynthDad great thank you! I missed those!

    Many thanks 🙏 is it also possible to make program changes to the digitone? I see pc in oxi but nothing happens. From eg. Syntakt > Minifreak i can load / modulate different presets for each step? Wondering if it‘s also possible with oxi? Cheers

      It should be, and I've done it before. I know there's an issue where Elektron devices miss a PC at the start of a loop so it changes pattern on the *next* loop; is that what you're seeing?

    nice demo! however the digitone has its own lfo's ;-)

    • @SynthDad
      @SynthDad  Год назад

      That's right, but sometimes those LFOs are already allocated to other jobs to make the sound. So if you need additional modulation of parameters (e.g. the SYN page or the FILters) then you need additional external LFOs.
