@@xNaomilovesbeautycomparing completely different human beings makes literally no sense. They might have been in the same show but in reality they share absolutely no reason to age in the same way. Some people go grey in their twenties. Some people age because they lost someone important to them. Some people get sick. People get older by their specific means, there is no ‘comparing’ to others.
Honestly i was a bit surprised how much older he looks (not that he looks "old" or "bad,cause he doesnt) only because he looked SO YOUNG when he came into gilmore girls. He was 30,but looked 19 . So i think some people might just think the same,when commenting on his age. Same with Lane,how she was in her late 20's in the first season! So it makes sense he would look older, He still goodlooking, definitely a silver fox! ☺

He wasn’t a waste of screen time nor did he destroy Lane’s dreams or life.
Lane absolutely loved Zach. Life never goes as planned. I don’t think they both, and Rory too, thought their life would progress as it did. But that’s exactly how life is!!! It never goes the way you want it to be initially.
Zach was funny, caring, romantic, sweet and loving. He adored Lane and it’s amazing to see how he brought Lane and her mom together! He stays with her till the end and they make it work.
Life works in mysterious ways.
But Dave and Zach were so different. How can a girl go from that to this in such a short time? It's not like she spent many quality months with the perfect Dave, got bored and went to the slow but easy-going Zach! That's what I don't understand. I think the only justification is that Lane was young and fell for any guy who came her way.
@@RUclipsr-my2ky the fact that Zach and Lane are still married and very happy shows that she really loved and loves him and that she didn’t „pick“ him just because he was there. In my opinion her and Dave never would’ve worked out. He was a do-er and definitely wanted to make some kind of career. Lane is the total opposite. A dreamer and just all about music. Nothing else - and that’s what Zach is too. They were perfect for each other but it took some time to realize

@@RUclipsr-my2ky Fun fact: women don’t have some Normal way of dating, just like men. it’s entirely reasonable and realistic that she moved on as soon as she did. She’d already known Zach for a while, and I think when Dave left, that’s when she SAW Zach and realized that she didn’t need a “perfect” guy. She needed a guy that was perfect for her. Zach and her have way more chemistry than Lane and Dave ever did.
Her and Zach had a friendship as a basis, which wasn’t entirely the case for her and Dave. With Dave, it was solely a romantic connection. It was half a relationship because of that. Her and Zach were comfortable with each other before they even considered dating. They knew a lot of each other’s secrets. It makes a lot of sense that they ended up together.

I absolutely loved his character lol him and lane were special and yeah life didnt go as planned but it was better than rorys romantic story arc. They werent conventional but they had it better than others. Love this show!!!
Sweet guy! And he is so spot on about why the show is still awesome. As a teen I related to Roy but now I'm a mom I relate to Lorelai and even Emily too. I hope to someday watch it with my daughter

I've watched almost all of the interviews so far and when they ask why The Gilmore Girls is still popular to this day they all say the same thing and i love that its warms my heart haha
While I do have a connection with my mom in regards to this show, I think that explanation actually sells the show short! I know multiple dudes who didn’t watch it in the original run, and only recently decided to check it out, end up loving the show because of the writing!

Sebastian Bach was the reason i watched this show in First place...not knowing anything about it not expecting to be into it, just knew he was in it. ....i been totally obsessed with it..omg i cant get enough. Just fell in love with this show from the moment i saw the pilot episode. I missed out on it for so many years. But its part of my life now and i fukn love it.

He does look like he’s in his 60’s. I think it’s mainly because he has white hair and a mustache. I think if he dyed his hair dirty blonde/light brown and got rid of the mustache he’d look a lot younger.

@@LiveEverySecond07 I think Lane and Zack had a connection, but in their own way. Zack came across as annoying and frustrating a lot of the time - only because he was afraid to show his true feelings. For example, when Lane gets pregnet he covers up his worries by saying Brian is a little freaked out, but he's not bothered. He didn't want to show Lane that he was super freaked out, until Lane told him that she was actually worried. They both had the same level of experience of being in a committed relationship when they got together, which makes them perfect for eachother.

I'm I the only one who didn't like his character?! I thought he was annoying. I wasn't happy about him & lane ending up together, they just didn't make sense.
I was hoping she would end up with the first guy, because you felt he did more to try to make Lane happy and dealt with her mother head on. It felt like she settled.
@@ShadowRainMemoirs Dave? Yeah, I agree. He also seemed a lot more mature. I didn't like how they wrote Lane's character in general. I really felt like they gave her the short end of the stick most of the time. I really wanted more for her. I felt so sad for her in the last season, while she was pregnant & she said something along the lines of how she got to experience a short glimpse of the life she wanted to live.

Yeah, Lane had some major struggles as a character. A dominating mother and absent father, a best friend who was too busy for her and was allowed to do everything that she wasn't, the first guy that seemed to like her (Henry) and that she liked too couldn't keep up with her sneaky secrets to date, Dave went along with it later but he seemed more stable and willing to date Lane in the end and then the writers just hoped we'd forget about him after he left the show when they sort of stopped talking about him after a while, then I assume the writers wanted to give Lane some love interest so they gave her Zach. I honestly wouldn't have minded if she chose Brian over Zack, he seemed to respect her and was sweet to her. It did feel like they just threw Lane and Zack together and forced them to work. I mean, her pregnancy storyline was a bit sad too because she didn't have time to be an adult before she got pregnant but I guess Lane's story was sort of similar to Lorelei's in a way. Lorelei had a dominating mom too that thought she "knew what was best" for her child, then Lorelei got pregnant young and had to grow up before she was even ready to because her parents didn't approve of her life choices. I just tried to hope that Lane was happy with how her life ended up in the end but I too was unsatisfied with the story arcs that happened to her character.
