What a day that must have been. Good to see Andy with a new machine for you folks, that is a speedy splitter and with the conveyor and umbrella holder. That will surely work good out in the woods like you guys work so much. Thanks Andy for helping out this bunch of great folks and also for having them be spokes people for your products , it's a win win for all involved. Thanks for all the videos you share with us Gord , you're doing great around there. Stay safe and keep up the fun too. CHEERS ! Fred.
You both help each other a lot. You certainly help Andrew sell machines with great explanations and reviews on the Axis and Andrew helps make you guys' lives a lot easier with your firewood goals. And you all enjoy each others company which makes for an easy video to enjoy. Funny bloopers too. Good stuff, Gord!
Found your channel 5 days ago. My grandson and I have been watching four hours now, and we like that you do not play music over the tractor noises and chainsaws he likes to hear them work. Keep up the videos! We watch in the evening after working with our Kubota !! Your videos remind me a lot of bob villa and this old house for some reason…
You may want to look at the Wolfe Ridge vertical. They set the standard it seems. Andrew copied their ideas ( he even admitted it in another video ) to make his orange and blue machines better. No disrespect to him, but He is just trying to catch up at this point.
@@gushoo6076 I didn’t say it was better than anything out there I said it took it to the top, more than one can be at the top and be very competitive with each other, and what’s wrong with getting ideas from other manufacturers? Ford and Chevy and Ram do it all the time, I know about Wolfe ridge, oh wait they didn’t come out with a diesel untill after EastonMade, are we to say they copied @EastonMade on that one, they all do it to improve their products.
@@WilliamsonRidge I meant no offense. Just expressing an alternative ( or so I thought ) point of view. I know what you're saying and it is great for consumers but bad for the folks who actually bring designs forward if you know what I mean. It is also different choosing a motor from a vendor and incorporating another's design idea. I will mention that wolf ridge also did the same with the aluminum sorting table. I'm still not sure why this seems to be the "new way" other than maybe rust with steel or something. Just so you know, I have an orange and blue horizontal machine. Good splitter but I am not in a cult like mindset for them like some others on youtube or whatever forum. I have experienced first hand there "customer service" and to be fair, I am a little jaded over it. They still make decent splitters. I am however convinced that the Wolfe Ridge vertical is the very top. Not just due to them coming out with design betterments first, but they are also heavier made if I remember the specs correctly. Made in the USA is also a BIG plus or should be for any folks living here in the states I feel. If I could have afforded one of the other top three brands made here ( at the time of purchase ) I would have gotten one of them instead even before having a bad experience with orange and blue crew. Anyway, take care and I hope I was more clear and less offensive to you with this reply.
I was hoping Andrew would bring you the update version. 🎉 I am glad they changed the time for the automatic idle. I’m looking forward to seeing you use it.
Every time I watch one of these videos, I wish I had a need for a splitter like that Axis. Based on your videos, I know that every time you fire it up, there's a party! Seriously, it just looks fun. 👍😎
Good morning Gord.. Wow what a crew to be all in the same place… I bet you guys had a blast.. Andrew never fails to impress me.. He is such a hard working guy.. And he sure knows how to have fun.. I did have a chat with my local black fly’s a few days ago and told them to head north a leave me alone.. I see from the video some took my advice and did. Your welcome.. hahahaha Thanks for the morning laugh with my coffee my friend.. Cheers….
Good Evening GP, You have Real Fun With Your Friends and Andrew ( was wearing your helmet !!! ) 🤣🤣👍👍 GP PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏😇Put Your Hands and the Bottom of your firewood base before the axe is getting down maaaan Cheers 😇😇🙏🙏👍👍🍻🍻
You guys look so handsome in your matching Canadian Tuxedos. I am glad that, in the interest of full disclosure, you showed your viewers why central Ontario sells record volumes of bug spray each year.
Good to see Andrew from EASTONMADE got the idea from OLD BUSTER on Allen Family Firewood 🪵 with Phil & Karen for having the fastest wood 🪵 splitter on U tube . Remember STICK on the ICE 🧊, SAW in the WOOD 🪵 and RUBBER on the ROAD . 😊 Take Care , Be Kind and always be good to your family . 😊
Really enjoy the collaboration with you and Andrew. Great idea for the umbrella. With black fly & mosquito season (aka deet season) you could use the holder to mount a fan or bug zapper to keep those pesky winged blood suckers away from you. 👍
Man I thought the bugs were bad in Maryland, I'll never complain again. Super great video, you guys riff off each other very well. The new axis is gonna be a game changer for you too. 🍻
Fastest hydraulic I've seen! My Vimek (Finnish I think) is a drum/ cable type, combined with log saw, way quicker at the expense of strength (never lacked for it though). Quicker you can do the firewood (within 2 weeks tops) the quicker you can get onto other projects, worth the investment IMO!
How's she goin'? That new splitter is a champ. The improvements that are made on it are a testament to Easton and the attention they pay to the people who use their gear and give feedback!! Great bloopers too guys!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
It's the attention they had toward a competitor's vertical machine in this case. Orang and blue are good machines but not the best in verticals yet in my opinion.
Well, good to look at you guys. But I am alone. So I use my compact tractor to feed me standing beside my kinetic wood splitter, with the trailer at the opposite side. Almost just as fast.
I love that Andrew was wearing your helmet, made me laugh! Going to have to win the lottery before my wife will let me get one! 🤣 You are a good man Andrew!
Nice video Gord and gang, any day Andrew comes to town is a good day, seems to me Orange attracts mosquitoes so those dinner jackets might be the problem lol. Cheers and have a great week
An Amazing Machine my Friend. It takes those Rounds and Splits them with ease. Nice and Portable to take back in the Woods to Process your Firewood. I am looking for a Processor myself. Is there a Link to Contact Eastenmade? Make my Firewood Splitting alot easier. Especially with the Locust I have. Great Video as always Gord and Team Work. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
Gord, now we know why Carol got a new pontoon boat.. Adding the new Axis to the growing stable of equipment. Better leave it at Guy’s for the summer so she doesn’t see it mate. When she does, you can say, that old thing.. we’ve had that for months. Lol
Umbrella holder? After seeing all the mosquitos and flies buzzing around you guys, that's a good place to mount an industrial size bug zapper. Think about it, Andrew, it could be your biggest selling accessory ever. You're welcome!
New features ( ideas ) that were copied by the orange and blue ( which should be illegal but I guess isn't somehow). At least it proves that Wolf Ridge had some really great ideas to move the industry forward.
The axis seems like a great machine. Looks like you can get quality sizes at a good speed with minimal effort. My major concern is safety. I appears that it would be much easier to cut off a finger with this machine than with others. obviously safety is key and the responsibility of the operator but considering that this machine is even faster i wonder if others have given this a consideration.
Can we have a follow up on your choice on gloves when you’re doing firewood? I’ve resorted to cheap $5 “leather”gloves. Longevity is just an unrealistic expectation.
lol loved the bloopers. had a blast with you guys. Really appreciate the support
LOL! Samesies - I think I saw those Geese again! Cheers and thanks Andrew!

Good morning and thanks Fred! Always a great time when Andrew rolls into town. LOL. Have a wonderful week my friend!
What a team
I had the opportunity of running it at the Northeast Loggers expo. It’s a really nice machine. Love the bloopers!
Cheers!

Thats a lot of life experience right there!
The Eastomade Axis was already a great machine and with those improvements takes it to the top.

Always a great video when Andrew shows up. What a beast of a splitter!

Good videos, but love the out takes. Thanks Gord.
Really enjoy the collaboration with you and Andrew. Great idea for the umbrella. With black fly & mosquito season (aka deet season) you could use the holder to mount a fan or bug zapper to keep those pesky winged blood suckers away from you. 👍
Great Video Guys....
I can believe Andrew about the Skeeters. Wow You had quite the Swarm going on.....
And so it begins again Mike. LOL!
Man I thought the bugs were bad in Maryland, I'll never complain again.
Super great video, you guys riff off each other very well. The new axis is gonna be a game changer for you too. 🍻
You should name this video "Men in Plaid"! Great machine! Best Regards, Jay
LOL!
That intro was hilarious!!! You had me fooled GP. Another awesome option from Eastonmade.
Great looking splitter!! Can't wait to see you umbrella attatched!!!😂😂😂 Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Put a box wedge on the left side of the wedge.
Love the wool shirts !!
I tell ya, Andrew and his crew don't make a bad product. Talking about serious quality!
That Canadian helmet was great!
I ordered one for my bundle wood
Fastest hydraulic I've seen!

Awesome, Machine!!👍👍👍
Drewzer Eastonmade and GP are the BEST!!!
Great Video GP> Another great product from Andrew.

Wow that this smokes through the wood! What’s the maximum stroke for the Axis.
Love that helmet!
I do love this little beasty but I have to ask,, does it fold down , I mean that cylinder sticking up might be an issue,,
Looks like the black Fly season is in full swing up there! What is Andrew going going to do with the old Axis?
I would like to try one of these out is there a dealer in mo

Must have been a cheap sale on those checked jackets or maybe it was a buy one get two free deal 😜😎
LOL!

The original Axis is sweet, this is even sweeter! The mosquitoes are definitely coming out. Time for the Thermacell.
That's a lot of bugs! How do you survive?
LOL! Netted jackets and lots of bug spray. :)) Cheers!
Look at Gord, taking a lesson from Guy and running the splitter without eye protection. Sheesh
👍

Great machine , sure saves a lot of bending over for us older fellas .
Crazy fast, perhaps, but it is also crazy expensive, 13k raw machine, for only 14 tons.
