- Early morning in the forest and another trailer full of firewood for the Woodshed. The Kubota LX2610 tractor is stacked with the Homestead Implements Pinnacle Grapple, and the IGLAND 3501 Skidding Winch on the 3 point. STIHL and Husqvarna square off on the log pile and the Eastonmade AXIS wood splitter brings it home. Have a nice fall weekend - Cheers!

Nothing wrong with an Ice Cold Drink after a hot day's work Cheers
Y'all have a great crew going on. Keep up the good work.
Good Morning Chainsaw Lovers 🤣👍👌💪Yes September was truly OUTSTANDING and that is why I always spend my month long summer vacation 😇👌👍Your Grapple is very handy to have 😇👍Your Forestry Winch is AMAZING 💪😇👍 Great Team Work with your friends GP and Be Well Cheers 😇🍻
Thanks Dave- enjoy your vacation time!
Nothing like the sound of chainsaws in the morning. I chuckled about your comment with the furnace given how it will be…I’m a stickler about that so far as I won’t turn the furnace on any day in which the air conditioner will be needed…I actually joke with my wife that no month which the ac/furnace😅. We took the last of the trees down last week and the logs are near the barn, split 4 cords over the weekend! Can you tell this is my favorite time of year?!? 🎉 Good day mate!
Ps. Why do you think your saw bucks so much faster than Huskies?
Makes good sense and wow - you are knocking out the firewood BLT! Have a nice weekend!
It has been a beautiful September. Can’t get enough of this weather but I am afraid winter is coming soon
When my father's side came from the old country, some of them settled on Tug Hill and are still farming there last I knew. Still have camps in High Market area.
@@donbrutcher4501 I live in Central Square just south of there and my camp is in Boonville
👍😊
Hello Gord, Looks like you had a very productive day👍🇺🇸
Had a little bit of a picker moment there! 😊😊😊 That skidder winch sure comes in handy. I always enjoy your videos, thanks. 👍👍👍
LOL! Yup, I thought I lost it this time. Whew! Cheers and thanks!
Hey Bobby! Add some ethanol to the fuel. Great time laying up wood!!
So you cut all those trees down and leave all the stumps? Fo you eventually replant or just let nature take over? I live in what is left of the ash woods in Ohio. Most of them have died years ago. That us my firewood for years untill it dry rots. I try to dug out the stumps plant maple trees or something.
Morning Rod. Yes, here too our Ash trees are dying off just like the Elm did. No, we will cut the stumps - lots of good firewood in them but Guy is not sure if we are pulling some out or just cutting them down yet. We don't need to re-plant - mother nature takes care of it and pretty quickly. Have a nice weekend!
@@GPOutdoors thanks GP always interesting to see what my friends from the north are up to.
Good job and having fun working
Good days work Gord . Thanks for the video .
Well done boys be safe
Morning Gary!
Working hard! That axis is so fast
I bet you guys sleep good
Hi Gord. Just wanted to pass this on to you. Keep an eye on your tie rod ends boots. I ripped mine in the bush. Kubota would not sell me a replacement boot. They would only sell me the complete tie rod end $$$$$!. Found replacements on eBay. We will be heading out into the bush next month to harvest logs for the sawmills. Cheers!
Hey thanks Brian. I will. Have a great weekend in the bush!
Good video Gord you guys are getting lots of firewood very nice setup take have a great week
Cheers Tom! You too,:)
G.P. Thank you for highlighting Husky Bob. HUSKY!!! Three Canadian criminals, tractors and chainsaws. I see network television in your guy's future!!! We Americans love our neighbors to the North. 😊
LOL! Good morning Rick! Hope you are well!
Nice work GP and Husky Bob. I'm ready for some cooler weather so I can really get cutting. I'm a year and a half ahead so I wait for cooler temps. Hope your weekend is good. ☕👍
Good stuff - Cheers Bob!
👍great video
Again,
Scariest grapple on the wood yard channels.
Have you ever considered a blooper reel, say once a year ?
24 minutes or so of whoopsie daisey's
Thanks for sharing much better than average adventures.
Morning and thanks Jean. I have a few times but never started to collect them. I probably should though. Cheers and all the best!
Great Video as always Gord, and Bob. Nice team Work.
Correct me, it looks like Maple and also did you say Aspen?
Nice Skidding Gord.
Its been a Beautiful September so far, lots of Maintenance on Yard, and Wood Pile, that is the Logs I have from a Great Guy that brings them for me.
See you at your next Video my Friend, and yes as always be Kind to One another, 1 of my Traits I go by all the Time. Cheers, Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
Morning Ron! Yes, a little maple but mostly Ash. Great to hear you are keeping busy. All the best!
That skidder/winch on your tractor is the berries! Gordon has the cold nights killed the skeeter's yet up there? It has been raining the last 2 days here in southeastern Illinois from the tail end of hurricane Helene which is a tropical depression swirling over us. Love the wood processing video's! Keep up the good work guys! ✌ -Everett
Morning Everett! Yes indeed - no more skeeters - best time of the year to out there. - Have a great week and all the best!
Curious as to why you're not cutting stumps off flush with the ground. It certainly makes things easier when you're moving brush and logs around, you can drive over the stumps instead of around them. Of course, it makes sense not to do it if you come back in with an excavator or dozer and pull the stumps or grind them.
Good morning - you got it. Guy is not sure whether we will be removing them yet or just cut them down, so we will wait til he decides - lots of good wood there still. Cheers!
The cold winter's coming and having a shed full of firewood is a smat idea. The blowing snow outside and sitting in front of a blazing fireplace enjoying a hot cup of chocolat make up those lasting memories and thinking that just a few months ago you were bucking up the firewood.
You bet Bay. Have a nice Sunday!
well done sir . now i am 87in a wheelchair in a bobcat toolcat . still have timberjack 209 we used dynima rope for main line and chookers much lighter and hav a curved rod to push under log to pull rope chocker . a humbl note from an old man god bles .
Good morning George and thanks for saying hello. Hope you have a nice Sunday. Cheers!
You two did a great job on the wood today. Always like seeing the Skidder working , that's an awesome piece of equipment and so handy for making the job easier. Thanks for sharing your morning with us Gord and Bob. Looking good in the woods. Fred.
Thanks Fred! I hope you had a nice time in Houston!
LOL. At 22:15 Husky would pay you not to show this STIHL, CUTTING 3 TO ONE. LMAO
LOL. Morning Jim. I have to admit - he had an engine issue we found afterwards back at the shop. But I couldn't resist.....
I love the friendship you have with the guys. It doesn't get any better than that.
Morning Jim!
