Hi molly I’d love some advice. I qualify into the nhs in 2024 November and have some certain months off before then. All of April 2024 and September October in 2024. I want to do Thailand in april but I’m worried about the monsoon and of course Indonesia Singapore and Malaysia for august September what are your thought?
Lol magpies swoop when you are in range of their babies, they have babies in the cooler months and are very protective of their little ones, I got swooped so many times in laidley while i was walking and cycling. was so happy when i came home to ireland knowing our magpies wont try kill me, but if you find yourself in that situation again and if you are cycling wear a helmet with fake eyes at the back and they wont know swoop you because they only do it from behind ❤
When I spent time visiting friends in Brisbane a few years ago I wondered why cyclists had spikes on their cycle helmets until my friends explained that the magpies there attack people.

Hahaha welcome to your first Maggie (Magpie) attack 😂😂😂it’s actually swooping season at the moment. They do it to protect their babies. Most parks that know if they have a swooping Maggie will have signs up to let you know. There is a myth that they go for blondes more because of the shine of the hair but I’ve been swooped and I’m brunette 😂😂😂just make sure you wear a cap when going through that part of the path ❤❤
Poor you I hate being attacked by Maggie's, this one obviously is attacking later in Summer which is unusual , make sure you wear a hat and sunglasses especially sunglasses as they can go for your eyes I walk waving a stick above my head. I can't believe it's raining in Melbourne and your wearing jumpers that's Melbourne for you haha, I'm in Perth and it's hot 🔥
Looks like we’re going to have to organise an intervention. The first step is to admit you have a problem. An addiction. You need to be in a safe space surrounded by friends and family in a circle of trust. You stand up and say. “Hi everyone my name is *** & I have an addiction to Kmart shopping 🛒
Obviously you made this in Spring, which is when the young are born.The magpie is protecting its babies and will continue to do so until they can fly.Either feed them and make friends or take a wide birth around their territory.Remember, magpies are a protected species.
