As a returning player who left the game in 2012, it's not much easier for me. You negate summon after summon and the meta decks just seem to have a plan A, B, C and D then be able to rotate through them again.
I always confuse about avramax word effect : it did say "once per battle, during damage calculation" where if he battles special summoned monster he will gain its attack. It did actually say once per turn but when i battle avramax he will always gain my monster attack. Always though that if i manage to summon 2 monster with >3000 atk, i can always use the first one as a bait, then use the second one to destory it. But no, he will gain attack of my two monster Hence i confuse with once per battle part. Does that mean i can never beat avramax in a battle phase ? I need explanation here

You can legit go grind coffee beans and brew one in the time this guy did his turn 1....I wonder why the game can't get new players.

This is why I run chain energy in my decks, to punish turns like these. I'd have to be lucky to play the card first though.

See this is the problem I see with “life points are just another resource” a lot more decks can look at 4k and say “yeah I can kill you” then 8k
