As a Yugioh player, few things make me as happy as telling my opponent “no” constantly. Ran pretty much this exact deck for the past few days and I’m loving it so far.
It works in Yugioh because each player only gets a max of 2 turns just 40 minutes to setup Most of the good floodgates are banned anyway or at least limited. Buttered Eggs makes me laugh everytime. Getting the conceded message after switching 1 eggxecutor into a second healthy one on the bench that just starts healing up is too good
My answer to your midway point question: 100% without a doubt the Arbok+Weezing deck you made a video on a few weeks ago. As soon as I got all the cards, i made it and it's put a smile on my face every day. There are so many people that do not read, or do not remember and/or do not understand what Arbok does, and it synergizes sooo well with Sabrina. And then at other times, I just get six healthy Weezing on the field in one game thanks to the two Kogas, and it's such a cheat code. Loads of concedes from opponents, mostly because of Sabrina/Arbok and the opponent realising they made a huge mistake. Just yesterday I had someone lock their energy-less Pikachu ex into my Arbok while they'd already used both their Potions. They hit the panic button by first playing an X Speed, probably realised that wouldn't work, Sabrina'd me (I went to my other Arbok who also had 2 energy) and then conceded.
@@Leonoor893 can confirm deck is fire been playing and win rate has gone up significantly such a fun control deck when it works plus that koga wheezing combo goes crazy
This is such a cool idea and I’m sad that it’s not viable. I played 5 games with it and didn’t take a single KO in any of the games. Gengar ex is really the only thing that does a relevant amount of damage and I never managed to get him down before I lost. My matchups were 2 Mewtwo ex, 2 Starmie ex + Articuno ex, and 1 Charizard ex. The Char deck completely soloed me with Moltres ex because I never managed to find a Pokemon with more than 60 HP. It really feels like with the game is designed right now that stage 2 evolutions are practically non-viable.
@@DTrain5742 Machamp is very viable, but for the most part you are right. Pocket is mirroring the same issue the original TCG has. The entire meta is basic or stage 1 EX and everything else is useless or just there to support those cards
This is why it's not so bad to run more units than the current meta despite dealing with unfortunate draws. The only way to deal with aggro is sacrifices and trading. Stage 2s need more support than the psyducks can give, which ironically is helped by having a second set of stage 2 to pivot around and buy time.
Hmm I don't know if it's a success, but I used gengar ex for getting my 50 wins on current event from 45 wins. It's not that consistent, but it's not that bad either, plus gengar ex can tank mewtwo and pikachu. If I can't get gengar online on time, I would just concede to save time

I play the same with 2 giovanni and 2 regular gengar + 1 EX because almost every base non ex pokemon is max 60 hp so the giovanni can help to letting gengar 1 shot for 1 energy. And I play only 1 psyduck because it's easier to get your gastlys since you only have 3 basics on your deck and 2 of them are gastly. If you're not unlucky with the draws then this deckbuild can be really fun to play :) (not for your opponent tho)

Erika helps with healing but I have also used Buttterfree
I've been using this Deck for a bit since Gengar was my first EX I've got, and I Highly suggest to play one Normal Gengar in it too. Gengar is a stage 2 evo so he needs time, and he can't do lots of Dmg unlike many other EX, even if he has 170 HP he's still squishy and gets taken down easily.. That's why Normal Gengar is actually good, while still Stage 2 he only needs 1 Energy, and still blocks Supporter cards, and can cheap away the enemy so Gengar EX can pick up the kills! Overall, I do find Gengar quite weak compared to the fast decks, and even the slow decks too, it all comes down if you can disrupt the opponent Hand or not, and not by doing Dmg
Yeah, 1 normal and 1 ex Gengar feels a bit better for keeping the support cards locked down. Problem I've had was it feels like way too many trainers. I've had matches where both my haunters were in the bottom 3 cards or close to it. And verses lightning Psyduck doesn't quite stall enough. Still a fun deck. Many concedes especially from the Water deck/Misty cheese players lol
I’ve been using Gengar/Pigeot. 1 EX Gengar and 1 regular. Surprisingly consistent and getting set up means they can’t play support and you can target every turn. Fun control deck!

Venomoth poison is a nice cheap disruption. I tend to also run one Pinsir as an early wall, emergency damage card. Keep everything Grass type to use Erika healing with potions to screw up break points.
I have been playing just Weezing and Arbok with Koga and it's not that good, but man it's fun. I win more than I think I should. Also, even a month in, people don't understand that poison procs on both sides of the turn. Gotten a lot of points from people not knowing that. Arbok not allowing retreat is also great when people have a slow bench.

Pidgeot arbok is cool. Overdrive into cornering a pokemon with no energy is great. But when you don’t get the full pidgey line quickly enough you just lose
A deck I've been having a lot of fun lately with is Pidgeot + Arbok, both are super low cost on their attacks and Pidgeot pivots really easily because of the 1 cost retreat, use drive off to bring their weaker mons to the front and lock them in with Arbok, I run an emergency Sabrina just in case I don't develop Pidgeot early and wanna stop a Gardevoir or Moltres from happening, and the best thing is both mons live a 90 circle circuit which lets them really punish a rat player for just setting up basics in the bench. Pidgeot is super clutch, 70 damage kills any EX bird in 2 turns, and Arbok gets the extra 20 from weakness which allows it to do the same to Mewtwo, super fun anti meta deck

I run Greninja with Tentacool Deck. it was fun deck. It is very good of you have early Tentacruel and start pressuring him with poison damage. and if he tries to retreat you have greninja. But for burst damage, i still run One Lapras EX due to its bulk and healing
I just fool around with a Lt. Surge deck and laugh when i blow up their full energy ex cards with a raichu jumpscare when my opponent thinks they have the lead.
You should try my "Toxic Sleep" deck. It's 2x wiggly P and EX wiggly T, 2× Koffing and 2x Weezing, 2× pokeball and professor, 2× koga and 2x Xspeed, 1 sabrina and 1 redcard, and 2x potion. It's a great deck I've been beating all the meta decks. Mewtwos, pikas, articunos, Charizards even some fighting decks with the luck on sleep
This one has been pretty fun: 2x Jiggly, 2x Wiggly EX, 2x Eevee, 1x Flareon, 1x Jolteon, 2x Tauros or basic of your choice, 2x Kangaskhan, 1x potion, 1x X-Speed, 2x poke, 2x Prof, 1x Giovanni, 1x Sabrina, Run dual energy
Basically the problem with this deck is that if they have early pressure pokemons you are doomed cause there is no solid tank on the front line till you build gengar
@RikuoNura383 y doing the same thing on a dragonite deck with articuno ex, its kind of risky playing ex for tanking but i dont trust coin cards like kanga 😃
I just pulled my first god Pack in the game and it was such a disappointment! I got two full art Sabrinas (which I already had two of), one full art Charizard EX (which I had one of before and also have two of the immersive one), one full art Machamp EX with the rainbow border (the only card I didn't habe and am quite happy to have pulled, though it's far from a favorite) and a full art Alakazam (which I had three of before). So, I am very happy to have gotten those cards and to have experienced a god pack, but man do I wish it had something else in it. Like a crown rare or THAT RAINBOW BORDER EX MOLTRES THAT I WANT WHICH IS THE ONLY REASON I STILL PULL CHAR PACKS. Anyways, was a nice experience ^^
Wheezing koga and dragonite is such a funny deck. I don’t use dark energy at all and just stall out to build up two dragonites and get the funniest Draco meteor wins
@ not a terrible idea but misty is too random, and I’m not really looking to put any energy on Pokemon other than the dragonites. In most cases, landing two Dracos at any point wins games, and landing 3 is basically gg. the poison is extremely nice as well and I don’t need to worry about energy.
My fun deck is Kabutops and butterfree. If set up it doesn’t die. I use Khangaskhan to tank while I set up. Definitely not meta but I’ve had fun with it and beaten meta decks. Both only need 1 energy of their typing (butterfree 3 energy total).
Weezing/Arbok loses as often as it wins but when it goes well it is the most fun I've had in this game. Plus it counters stinky Mewtwo EX users pretty well.
A deck I feel gross playing builds a bit off the Arboc/Wheezing deck. I add in a single Pidgey line to get Pidgeot on the bench. This gives me a free Sabrina to use every turn. I can control when they swap out using Arboc corner and Pidgeot drive off. Wheezing/Koga for a quick poison. Pidgey line is all one cost to retreat and is all colorless. If they Sabrina in Pidgoet it comes in with 130 hp swinging for 70 damage. On top of all this no move costs more than 2 energy so it can keep up with fast decks like Blaine or Pika.
This is the type of deck that makes people rage-quit. If I can't play supporter cards on turn 1 or 2 and I don't have most of the things I need already in my hand I'm just quitting the match.
You should use mew as well in that deck with the red card, mew let you see the opponent hand and then you can use the red card depending what hand they have
Thinking about it, fighting really can be strong! Normal, lightning and Dark are weak to fighting. And for psychic, maybe get lucky. Im pretty sure you can win a lot with weaknesses. So maybe machamps decks get meta?
I have a Snorlax Alakazam deck pretty much forces my opponent to go round 20+ and by that time all the energy that they’ve stacked hurts them because Alakazam hits for +30 every energy can pretty much one shot all the exes that need a lot of energy😂
16:11 I have an eat energy build with Farrow, Mawile with an Arodactyl. If I get lucky and take the first two energies the other player tends to Concede. 😅
It's not something that works as much as I like, but when set up Butterfree/Exeggutor and all the healing cards feels really mean. Hardest part is getting Butterfree up and healing. Starting Caterpie feels real bad, and the fire decks just rip through you.
Red card isn’t useful right now. Best to use it at the beginning of a game, but that still gives your opponent ~20% chance to get the card they need. This % goes up as the game goes on.
No, using Red Card at the beginning is the worst use case. At that point, it's doing almost nothing if you're trying to meaningfully disrupt your opponent's hand, since they're only playing Basic Pokémon. The best time to use is the turn before they evolve or otherwise about to make some game-winning play with a card in their hand. You're not guaranteed to stop them, but you would lose anyway if you did nothing.
Totally unrelated to the vid but GD im so sick of Pikachu decks. The games simple enough in general but somehow Pikachu decks make other decks seem complicated in comparison. I cant wait for the mini set as i hope they add new cards and mechanics that help slow down decks that revolve around basic pokemon or speed up slower decks.
I play this with Misty since I can get that sweet turn 1 shutdown also I don't think red card is necessary cause the extra cards they have won't be used ever anyway ;)
Sometimes the decks i use is the one who can attack bench decks, like greninja and zebstrika, i just attack their important decks, it's slow tbh but i just thought it's funny
I'm not sure why they didn't evolve vulpix if they had it. Maybe they were gambling they would get it? I still think it would have been better to keep it in the back and power it up.
I liked the game at the beginning and its addictive but its soo luck based that is not enjoyable anymore. I don't even enjoy when I'm the one with the lucky roll. Every card game that involves a lot of luck is not competitively playable. I know that the first idea was to make a casual game but without the pvp aspect the game will soon lose most of its users. (And that's fine probably because they made their money but the wasted potential is there).
Love the concept as I love troll decks but this was not it for me. Played well over 10 matches and had zero success I either couldn't start with Psyduck or couldn't get gengar out before their ex Pokemon was stacked enough to kill him in 2 turns even in games where I locked them out of supporters from my first turn.

I put mewtwo ex for wall 😂 Plus it can work as a bluff or dmg dealer if needed
This deck worked really well for me 5 losses in a row then won the 6th when the guy put down one card and conceded 😂
Wheezing koga and dragonite is such a funny deck. I don’t use dark energy at all and just stall out to build up two dragonites and get the funniest Draco meteor wins
Why not use Misty Cloyster over Wheezing Koga?
@ not a terrible idea but misty is too random, and I’m not really looking to put any energy on Pokemon other than the dragonites. In most cases, landing two Dracos at any point wins games, and landing 3 is basically gg.
the poison is extremely nice as well and I don’t need to worry about energy.
The "No one will save you" dexk
My fun deck is Kabutops and butterfree. If set up it doesn’t die. I use Khangaskhan to tank while I set up. Definitely not meta but I’ve had fun with it and beaten meta decks. Both only need 1 energy of their typing (butterfree 3 energy total).
One of my favorite decks includes Wigglytuff EX and some other normals. I'm not giving away my secrets, but it is surprisingly fun!
Weezing/Arbok loses as often as it wins but when it goes well it is the most fun I've had in this game. Plus it counters stinky Mewtwo EX users pretty well.
It would be nice to see a Persian deck that can empty an opponent's hand without getting wiped because Persian is kind of weak.
You could put a misty in this deck so you can possibly attack with psyduck first turn which would be hilarious
22:08 what did I just watch lol
This is the type of deck that makes people rage-quit. If I can't play supporter cards on turn 1 or 2 and I don't have most of the things I need already in my hand I'm just quitting the match.
Sick deck
This would make for a hilarious mirror match
16:11 I have an eat energy build with Farrow, Mawile with an Arodactyl. If I get lucky and take the first two energies the other player tends to Concede. 😅
@CoryDAnimates hey we made the same deck lol. It's actually so much fun and decently viable
Have you thought of a fearow Persian troll deck?
mawile melmetal is very funny when crunch works
I've had this deck "get" me before because of the draw I had. But if you just have any kind of damage on board it's an easy win.
I feel bad for playing arbok/pidgeot and just locking down the enemy from playing what they want 😂
Dragonite Deck Is My Chill Go To For Fun Deck!
Good deck but that fact of the matter is don’t matter what deck you have it’s 90% RNG
I have this glitch where I draw 1 basic pokemon in the first 3 turns and my opponent draws everything they need in the first turn 😊
I just tried it now, my opponent didn’t play a supporter for the entire game 🤣 just spam Psyduck while loading Gengar and then gg
I used psyduck as soon as I saw the effect with articuno + tentacruel + Frostmoth 😂 idk i keep making ppl quit lol
Makes me feel gross... my victribel-executor ex deck hahaha
Build a deck utilizing the garenteed basic pokemon in the opening hand mechanic.
Tried this and it worked well till i got meteored lol but hey no Misty for them! 😅
Fought against this deck earlier w/ an Arbok x Weezing combo. They got rekt easily.
Man, I made this deck recently but I guess I deleted it for some reason. Wanted to see what differences there were.
Occasionally I bust out the Mawile/Persian/Fearow deck if I want to spread a little misery lol
Would it be better to play two red cards in this hand or even a misty for your psyduck?
This whole deck felt gross to watch. I love it
I tried this deck with mew in it and its soo luck dependant but when it works it hella works
I'm not sure why they didn't evolve vulpix if they had it. Maybe they were gambling they would get it? I still think it would have been better to keep it in the back and power it up.
I use this same deck with hypno line added
I played vs a deck like that, but he had hypno instead of psyduck, very anoying but i still win with my Venusaur and exeguttor deck XD
Hopefully they update online matches to 5 wins and other changes
I completed the event to 45 wins using Ninetails/Golbat
16:11 Any deck trying to make Beedrill work.
Perfect deck to crush the opponents dreams plus I have the cards to build them with hahahahahahah
The 18 trainer lapras ex deck is the deck i feel gross playing lol
Dragonite, eevee, jolteon, vaporeon?
This deck was originally from Mogwai. Please give credit when it’s due if you can ❤️
I liked the game at the beginning and its addictive but its soo luck based that is not enjoyable anymore.
I always wanted to run this deck, I never got the balance right.
this is the kind of deck that will get you no 'thank you's
Why Dont you have a discord channel ???? you could write lists there or the community could post their decks.
