    Whenever I listen to prof lumumba this question is always keep nagging on my head , why people like him are not taking top leadership position in Africa he got all that it takes to be in any high position in Africa. May God bless Africa 👏👏👏

      When Africa can build and maintain its own nuclear power plant, then maybe it will be able to build and maintain a nuclear arsenal. Just pray it’s not Sudan or Somalia that obtains those weapons. They may use them on their own countrymen in the next coup d’état that comes along in a few years.

    But anywhere in africa even very small meeting like agriculture or something similar you see half of the audience are Europeans.

    Africa must first Unite to become one continent with one passport, provide universal education for Africans up to the university level, provide universal health care for all Africans, and get rid of the current AU head, and replace him with a visionary to guide African development and get rid of all military bases in Africa and last but not least reform the African development bank to be more independent. Africa is at a crossroads and must make forward-thinking decisions for its people. I pray for PLO Lumumba after giving this brave speech.

      @@KC-cb7ov Let me rather not pose the question, let me give you my argument. 1. There are no shelters anywhere in the world to shield an entire population. 2. What you are talking about are nuclear bunkers that were built about 60 years ago in the West & East primarily to shield governments & a limited number of their critical staff.
      So, nothing exist of the sort suggested by @Gilbert Owuor when he said we should also think of “building shelters all over the continent to ensure our survival.” If you wanna talk about bunkers that will only house a couple of thousands comprising of African government officials, their families, a few generals & a bunch of corrupt businessman who will pay their way in, that’s fine but it’s not gonna be “nuclear shelters that ensure our survival. Those simply do not exist anywhere else in the world.

      It's about time africa learnt how to build a nuclear power plant first let alone nuclear weapons
      And it isn't about time the time has passed
      Russia China the US and the UK and France would not allow an African country to become a nuclear power
      As per international law on the non proliferation treaty and the fact that only countries that tested nuke's before 1968 are allowed to have them.
      Now since the likelihood of an African country building a nuke without any outside help is close to zero I think it's safe to say it will never happen

    I'm Asian Canadian and we've been raised brainwashed growing up to say no to nuclear weapons. As I got older that stance became more and more wrong to me considering the country that pushes it has actually used them and they refuse to adopt the No Frist Use policy.
