It is, now, the evening before Remembrance Day 2015. I watch this interview with Paul, and am reminded of the film that I saw a couple of weeks ago. I knew, when I watched the movie, that all future Nov. 11 experiences would be changed in my mind - because of the important work that Paul has done here. This is critical Canadian film-making that all of us who don't have real experience, need to see. Around the world. I will be even more moved, and saddened, during tomorrow's ceremony. Thank you very much Paul. Our Canadians have, over the years, done so much. Paul's film helps make this more real for us, their supporters.
I just posted this video on rallypoint.com a veteran and active duty website for the USA and they like it but have never seen it shown in the USA. I hope it goes there on netflics at least. I just saw it last night in Edmonton and I am impressed! I served in Iraq and Afghanistan at PRT Farah just west of KAF. I was there too and took pictures at the Tim Horton's to show my wife.
Don't think Passchendaele was a train wreck like someone said but it was more a love story than a war story. It would have been better if they called it that and had the war as a background not the title. Hopefully this one is better. I will give a big thumbs up with Paul Gross making movies about Canadians at war.
Should be interesting. Contrary to some of the previous posts, I found Passchendaele to be the antiwar movie to end all antiwar movies and it s one of my alltime top 5.
Wow you are intelligent aren't you? Can't think of anything better than a cheap and vulgar statement? Let me know when you grow up little girl, and we can have a grown up conversation.
+daphoenixto I admit defeat man. You used so many big boy words to describe your intelligence. How could I ever defeat words like troglodyte and asinine? Oh and that saying put me into a good humor. I'm gonna leave you a great saying.... People like you are the reason we have a middle finger :)
+Nicholas Wicht "What has the world come to?" you ask ...well its come to a point where you defend a person based on a comment made in jest, at my shock at Paul's hair color , not his "Facial Features" I have not misused the word Narcissist you in your comments exemplify one . my words meant no malice to Mr Gross. and by you trying to be a hero opened a can of worms that now make you portray yourself as the wounded party ....no one else commented because they probably understood it was meant in a jovial way ..As for your attempted heroism lets put that in the file marked Narcissist .....have a good day

Love Paul Gross...ive grown watching Due South..❤️👌
He seems to give a very honest view of his experience over there. I'm looking forward to the movie.
Paul Gross. Super Canadian talent, I can hardly wait to see this new movie.
Paul has lost weight and gone silver. But he is still as cute as ever.
Great job Paul, best war movie I have ever seen!!!
I will watch this for my comrades and dear friends who can't and I will have sleepless nights all over again.
Can't wait to watch this movie
I found it to be a very good movie, and it gave me a real sense of what it must of been like in Afghanistan. Lots of action too!
Te amo Paul Groos.

Why do I have the fear and suspicion this might be another train wreck like Passchendaele? As an Afghan vet, I will see this film, but...
gurka321 Hope springs eternal.
+gurka321 Post your reaction to the movie when you've seen it. I'm interested.
