🌊 Sally Hepworth is one of my favorite authors, I’m so glad you enjoyed her books! Spoilers for The Good Sister below…
I loved the ending. Sally Hepworth really had me believing that Fern wasn’t going to be a safe mother, which broke my heart because I loved Fern so much! I kind of realized that Rose had some issues, but I was shocked by just how far she went and that the entire journal was a lie. I was just so relieved to find out that Fern had never really hurt anyone. I personally enjoy a happy ending with all the loose ends tied up and I was happy this book did that.
Spoilers
I feel the same way about Fern, she was just so sweet. I felt like something was off with Rose but not all of that - I was really shocked and I loved it!!
First Sally Hepworth book I read was The Good Sister. Loved it❤. Then I read The Younger Wife. Very good too. I’m really liking this author so I got two more of her books. The Monther-In-Law and The Soulmate. Looking forward to reading those.
So glad to see a vlog dedicated to Sally Hepworth! Happy that I found your channel 😊
Hooray, I'm glad you are a Sally Hepworth fan - what other books do you like of hers?
I love Sally Hepworth. The Good Sister is my favorite so far (I love it when a book surprises me and this one did) but I did enjoy Soulmate a lot as well. I’ve also read The Mother in Law (probably my least favorite) and The Younger Wife. Have several more in my TBR.
I enjoyed your reading vlog! I’ve been wanting to try Sally Hepworth, and The Good Sister is one of the ones I’d like to try first. Thanks! 👋
Just finished The Good Sister, and youre right, total Molly the Maid vibes! I loved Fern.
So glad you agree! Fern is really one of my new favorite characters!
Hi Angie, I love this sort of video!! And I do love Sally Hepworth ( a local Aussie author)
The Good Sister was fantastic! Very clever!!
I love this video so much!! I need to read some of these.
Just downloaded the good sister from cloud library! Can't wait!
Excited to hear what you think!!
I discovered Sally Hepworth last year and have read 5 of her books so far. I enjoy them...they are more domestic drama/mystery to me.
I’m now hoping to read more of her backlist!
This was great and helped me decide to read The Good Sister . It's been on my wish list for a while. Thanks Angie! 🌊 or 👋
You’re welcome - hope you like it!!
🌊 I like try a chapter videos, especially ones with themes. 👍🏻
Thanks Megs!
I love sally hepwoeth! But some of her books are less thriller and more contemporary as you go in to her backlist. I love them though! My favorite is a really old one called the secrets of midwives!
I agree, I love them all but the oldest few aren’t thrillers. There are very few authors that I have read all of their work, but Sally Hepworth is one of them.
That makes complete sense after reading the first chapter of The Things we Keep … I feel like when I’m in a contemporary mood I will definitely pick up her backlist!
@@emmareads734 I think the only one I haven’t read is the younger wife
I read this book a while ago, it's good, twisty and a little bit different
Your video popped up on my feed. I couldn’t remember if I had read a Sally Hepworth so I went to my Goodreads account and yes, I read the Mother in law 5 years ago. I really liked it but my review says the last quarter of the book wasn’t as good as the rest. It sort of fell off. I’m definitely going to watch your video.
I haven’t read that one but you should definitely try The Good Sister and The Soulmate - so good!!
I can’t figure out your thriller taste and how it relates to mine! I love sally Hepworth!
Haha, I know! I just can't do super psychological or gritty!
@@bookmama26 I’m glad you liked the Sally’s!
The soulsmate hooked me. I’m interested to see what your view is. New here!
Welcome! The Soulmate was so good!!
Now I have to try Sally Hepworth😅
Do it!!
Mam, what mason jar is it?
I liked her book The Mother-in-Law. But I was not a fan of The Good Sister.
I’ve heard good things about The Mother-in-Law!
I so deeply want to know what book tubers you watch!
I’m making an updated list this summer - but I do have an old video on my channel that I still stand behind everyone on the list!!
