Yes but on the Kawasaki motors the wiring is all single plugs unlike the Briggs and Kohler it's one plug and those are plug and play and some times you have to run the exhaust sometimes in a different way

Any info on John Deere mowers?
    I have a gx345 with a Kawasaki fd611v.
Looking for something that can drop in.
Im finding briggs and Kohler 20 to 24 hp in various machines.
My concerns are mounting patterns and exhaust.
    Any suggestions?

      Any motor will work

Any motor will work just the plugs are different but it's not hard to wire the kill wire and the battery charging wire and the electric shut off needle that's it but also might have to run the exhaust in a different way just depends on how it's ran on the Kawasaki

The exhaust is the problem. Mounting bolt holes may have to be drilled larger.
Some of these had a 1" shaft and some had a 1 1/8" shaft.

Where’d you hook up the power for the carb?

To the ignition switch that way the power can be turned off and on

Also depending on what your trying to power or do
