I love that Jamie knows her so well that he knows when something is wrong with her. I also love that he knows she wont tell him until shes ready.

I love when she calls him Jameson
Great clip and the writing was awesome. Eddie shows a level of being smart on her feet, differently than the style of her new mentor to-be. She struggles with it at first, but confronts her own concerns head-on. In the end , she found a tough, unrefined and yet compassionate, blessed with the charismatic ability of conveying his humility equally laced with great common-sense wisdom. He helped her believe in herself and looked upon as a fellow cop and not some rookie. I'm thinking upward strides exist for her and the writers are melding her into the Reagan family, providing her with more common-sense wisdom to help fashion the tools on her tool belt. Good stuff!!
Well put. I love how Eddie has matured over the past year, yet still retains some of her "Eddie" qualities we've come to love.
Love Eddie and Jamie there is so much chemistry with class . Blue Blood is the best show . Frank aka Tom Selleck looks fine like wine 🍷
Love Eddie saying Jameson. Can't wait to see the wedding where Eddie says her vows to Jamie.
This is a great show with great characters. Writing is wonderful.

Enjoyed seeing Anthony giving advise to Eddie to follow her heart. Not the exact words. Words from the wise. That was a great piece of clip
Ahh ... Anthony and Eddie bonding over food. They both speak each other's language. LOL. Seriously, though, I felt like there was a scene missing, or cut, where Eddie tells him she wants to become a detective, or Erin telling Anthony to take Eddie with him because she wants to become a detective. Otherwise, Eddie's comment that she doesn't know if she can do this job without lying makes no sense. She's been a cop for over five years, and been doing it well by doing it her way.
I agree I feel they cut out a scene of Anthony offering her a job.

@@BrandonMcCloskey Oooooh I've been a New Kids Fan for 30 years & listened to many Donnie interviews sooo I know when he's changing his voice around for humor or his tone when he's serious ... Also he could have added that in if they had to go back & do voice overs on the scene bc the mic didn't pick up the audio. Or it could be Sean saying it tooo ... or maybe even Will ... it has to be one of them ...

Danny is the Virgin Mary of all NYPD cops. The actual cops in NYC are sadistic psychotic murders, thieves and liars who like the egomaniac Danny do not care about the law
Why did she call him Jameson though? No one in the family calls him that. I wonder if that was an ad lib? The way he laughs and repeats it makes me think it wasn't necessarily scripted that way.
Could be. I've always wanted to see the original script to see how much the director and actors change it.
Because that's his given name. Jamie is just a nickname. They've referred to it a couple of times throughout the series (I think the most recent was when he met Eddie's mom and she said something along the lines of "like the whiskey?" referring to Jameson Irish Whiskey)

@@landryreagan3522 Eddie's mom thinks of Jameson as the whiskey. I think of Jameson as the newspaper publisher who hates Spiderman.
I often call my husband by his full name, when no one else in the family does. It's just a couple thing sometimes...
