What is Bornhaan? Why it is celebrated?
This is one of the ancient hindu traditions.Performed for the kids between 1 to 5 years.Bornhaan is funfillled Maharashtrian tradition to nurture childs immune system for upcoming weather changes.Now-a-days It is also called as Berry shower, where Berries (bor), sugercan pieces (uus), groundnuts (buhimugacha shenga) and murmure (puffed rice) the things which are immune boosters are showered on the child and shared among other children's. having fun and eating goodies attracts the kids.Bornhaan is celebrated between the period of Makar sankranti till Rathsaptami.
