MrKkubaa - Not exactly. Which is unfortunate. Closest I can think of is how Americans said “moxie” back in the day. Like, “Hey, not bad, kid! You got moxie! Good work out there!”. Rather more nuanced, though. There’s a common motif of bravery, heart, fortitude, duty, willpower, guts, honor, etc, but with a sense of... humility... not an aggrandizing sort of thing. Doing what needs to be done even when it’s rough without complaining or expecting a pat on the back- doing what’s right, simply because to do so is good and proper, and thus expected. Kind of like one of those things where some average joe is driving his truck and sees something on the side of the road and stops and rescues a baby from a burning car or something, and when the news people talk to the ‘local hero’, he’s like, “‘Hero’? Aw, shucks, I just saw someone who needed some help. It’s what anybody would’ve done.” Sort of. Except more... Finnish... I don’t think Finns say “Aw, shucks.”... or maybe they do? Not sure. But that’s basically the idea... So, no, no exact translation. Lol. 👍

P E R K E L E!
Simo Hayha has a k/d ratio of at least 505. (I disincluded smg kills because i don't I don't know for certain how many he got with that.)
It was also a ridiculous number to be sure since spraying from a sniper of Simo's quality is still marksmen levels.
I believe he had around 700+ in total but it was 505 confirmed with his rifle the extra 200 cone fron his SMG
Simo has 542 couted kills, when winterwar starts he was killed maybe 200 enemys because he were not sniper at first and this is own story at the interview
I think I heard he got around 301 kills with his smg or something... Not sure though.
Don't forget his smg! :)

Is it just me, or does this song sound a bit like seven pillars of wisdom?
Bands and singers sometimes reuse the same melody/tune/whatever from songs they write, it saves them having to come up with something from scratch if the new song has a similar theme to another one they've done, but say...uses different instruments or a different key.
It uses the basic same style
It also sounds like Screaming Eagles.
@@starwarzchik112 for me it doesnt sound anything like screaming eagles, it sounds more like seven pillars of wisdom.
this was flagged as offensive wow lmao
Shrekoning russian was offended ?
Leftist aka communist scum got offended we really need Simo back to get rid of them

You from Finland? That's great. I learn Finnish and I realy respect all Fins. Today is 101 years after your civil war has begun. Greetings from Poland.
That's so cool, don't worry is english is a-okay. Greetings from Brazil, and listen to smoking snakes!
I bet it was scary for Soviets to walk on the fields, forests, and anywhere, when you know that you can die in any moment.
That's war for you.

Pretty sure it traumatized some people, and they couldn't ever walk around flatlands near mountains and hills

I heard about this finnish sniper , He was the wild within and could stay hidden many days without movin' ! I was really amazed findin' this song reference into a simple video explainin' many lies about sniper soldiers ...

Please tell me if I got this info wrong.

505 confirmed some believe its up too 750
KingChickenwing you got it wrong ,it’s 502 kills without scope
@@marcelocastro6992 I thought it was just 500 or so kills total? I know for certain that he got at least 250, so I went with that, as wikipedia says he got some kills with other guns, so I didn't want to give false information.
250 with a submachine gun
The guy inthe picture isn't Häyhä. Häyhä used a Finnish mosin, and that's not an m39 nor m27. Also, Häyhä never used bayonets.

@Anonymous Anonymous or "boogeymen" at this point :P
If he teamed up with Lauri Torni and Audie Murphy, the soviets would of been wiped off the face of the earth.
When one of the biggest armies is having problems killing two Finns. America shouldnt have stopped at Berlin. We should marched to Moscow and reduce it to a pile of smoldering ashes.
If the wermarcht couldnt why you think a meaningless US army could do? The number just doesnt match Bro. Also was the soviets who get moscow.

Does anybody know what actually the word "sisu" really mean? Can it be exactly translated?
MrKkubaa there’s no exact translation but its an expression for the hardships the Finns have endured and will endure
To have the balls to withstand hardship. Although "sisu" is gender neutral as everything else in here
theculturetrip.com/europe/serbia/articles/the-weird-world-of-inat-like-hygge-but-serbian/
Lol. 👍
Plainly. It's guts. The kind that never ever gives up. That's sisu.
Honestly its both an awesome yet TERRIFYING Mental Image. Just wandering about and you see, instead of a platoon of Russian Soldiers as the intel told, a field of bodies, including a few that died of exposure shortly after being shot, some who died where they stood!
We didnt win soviets during winter war.
It was something else...
Se oli SISU, PERKELE!!!!
