thats the issue with MW3 campaign.. COD is now relying in cutscenes to advance the story which is really dumb... because people such as NoahJ when he played MW3 campaign he had no idea how people such as Graves was alive... so if u dont watch the cutscenes the story cant be understood.... which i believe is a huge issue
@@brixson7641 that can be easily resolved by having a section in the game to go back and watch the cinematics and cutscenes. But the real problem is how they are now using the cinematics to promote bundles, crossovers, etc...and leaving the story behind or just making it really lackluster which sucks for people who love playing warzone/mp and finding Easter eggs related to lore cus theyd expect the cutscene explains what they just found but nope, instead they get snoop Dogg fighting Makarov and a bunch of bunnies.

Modern Warfare: Stopping Al-Qatala and the Zakhaev Family. The birth of 141 and some of the best characters and factions. MW2: Fighting Las Alamas Cartel and Hadir in Urzkistan. Then Hadir reveals the existance of Konni's threat. MW3: Stopping Makarov and Konni, If you want to play the story use wearing the default skins or anything that respects the story's seriousness. If not, then i don't have any problem.

It only began not making sense when Vanguard Season 3 rolled around, which is theorized of Butcher either misremembering things or is omitting the actual events of his operation.
if your remove all the goofy stuff, like Kong, Godzilla, the bundles, etc...and come up with your own conclusion of each game's story, its still a pretty decent story imo. I like to think Activision's greed is what ruined the cinematics and the story. Especially when it comes to Sledgehammer's games, gotta feel bad for them in a way.

I’m disappointed by the lack of seasonal cutscenes of mw3. Even Black Ops Cold War had a story for Adler after the main game.

Modern Warfare 2019 to me was the best to me. Black Ops Cold War was also great.

Mostly as a film. In Vanguard, you get to play a multiplayer match in a movie set for either King Kong or Godzilla.
