But that’s kind of the drawback of having a prequel, we all know that cold wars heroes are going to get plot armor, or if they don’t the call of duty timeline ahead would never happen and also money.
It felt like they were trying to go with a story but after a quarter of the way through it just gave up on it. Which is a shame even if a story is bad I would stick around until the end. However when they just gave up on the story I quit caring.

What I liked about Cold War was the ongoing story of Stitch and Adler, in S1 of MW Nikto was never heard of after or Mara He was the coolest operator that had squat all when it came to story, Hopefully the story and operators are tighter with Warzone II I want the Chimera Asr so bad, The Aac honey badger all sneaky beaky like The pre-rendered cutscenes look amazing, the cinematography is pretty solid too like a movie
MW and Cold War's stories were pretty good... but man- vanguard really threw it all over the edge. The Call of Duty mobile comics are more consistent and interesting, and genuinely good.

Every cutscene is canon except for seasons 3-4 of Vanguard. I'm sad that we didn't get a real story for Vanguard since I heard that they were going to expand on the campaign story during the seasons and instead we got two prequels before the foundation of Vanguard and then random stuff season 3 onwards. The biggest mistake Activision made with Vanguard was putting Al Asad and Menendez in it when fans wanted the two characters in Cold War and MW alongside the T-800 (characters that would fit the era they were meant for, not whatever we got). The other is giving up after season 2 with the story. The story had potential (tie-in to MW since Vanguard is Task Force 1 and Nebula V is the precursor to Nova 6) and it could've expanded some elements including the actual foundation of Vanguard, but nothing happened. The only way we found out about the time skips was thanks to some people in the community talking about it.

So he got what he needed before he sent his task force. basically sent them to die or find Nothing about Phoenix, and they were fighting over gold. That part I can't really explain Unless they realized what he was doing, he would go to missions before he sends them and technically backstabbing them.That's my best guess thats whats kind of makes sense to me Because in season 5 just ignore the villains from the future, caldera erupts part of the task Force that he made The characters are chill with him while the others are not for An example anna Drake in season 4 was against captain butcher They were fighting, but in season 5 her team members Gustavo's de santos was with him in season 5 chill not Fighting against him, same thing with Florence fighting against captain butcher in season 4 and her team member Kim tae young was not Fighting him So part of their team members know that he probably a bad guy or hes turning on them somehow, or they don't like what he doing and the others just don't know anything it makes sense. If you put it like that, but still we really don't know. What did it really decided to do in the end of Vanguard's life cycle? But the best reason for it is that people disliked Vanguard. So they just decided to do whatever. So people really wouldn't care for the story of Vanguard and they just gave up, which is the theory that everybody accepts Sadly

These Cutscenes should've been more fitted as Campaign Story DLCs instead of being Multiplayer and Warzone DLCs/Season Passes, Which that all explains the so many Plot Holes and Inconsistencies in MW2 (2022) has, it feels almost Disconnected from MW1 (2019) in terms of Continuity.
@@Minchken Since there's not gonna be another COD Game in 2023, I'd say this is the only Opportunity for them to finally make a Story DLC/Expansion for the very 1st Time, But on the other hand, I utterly doubt it, because Developers these Days are only going to be putting a lot Work and Money into making more new Cosmetics for Guns, Operators, Skins/Camos and Maps for the Multiplayer and Warzone 2.0, So having a Story DLC/Expansion are very Low, guess we'll be stuck with only 1 Bare Bones Campaign Story (even though it's Great) that can be Beaten in under 4 or 5 Hours unless you crank up the Difficulty Level in either Veteran or Realism that'll give you an Extra 8 or 9 Hours of playtime even though you'll be Dying a lot of Times (it sounds Masochistic as hell, but it's for the Best).
Hope MW3 uses its COOP to truly make these cutscenes shine with added context. Imagine the reward for doing tough 3 man raids are cutscenes like the closer for MW’s season 6.
Ghost 2019 > Ghost 2023 for skin's and voice. The skull mask being curved inwards at the top instead of extending into the forehead was way better, 2023 Ghost mask makes his forehead look giant, plus 2019 just had better and more fitting skins, like Jawbone, Reckoner, Azrael, and the clsssics. I like it how Vanguard went from stopping Nazis post WW2 from unleashing, I'm guessing Nova 6 or a predecessor to Nova 6, then fighting Godzilla and Kong, then to seemingly fighting each other for some reason and then in Season 5, villains from different time-periods arriving and then I dont even think they bothered with a season 6, right?
He might be undercover trying to infiltrate with Makarov, or the actor decided not to return he's been radio silent on the whole game so it's probably the latter
I can see all of it work out up till after Godzilla vs Kong: apart from post ww2 soldiers dressed from Vietnam and skills of John wick but hey, COD right? Meeting butcher in the bunker in verdansk was a bit of a stretch but the boys had finally dealt with stitch and the Perseus threat so it’s fair to bring in a new story hence the caldera, and from the vanguard campaign the idea of a lethal gas going all the way through to the verdansk 2021 era is fair enough. Godzilla/kong, alright it’s nuts but in a fictional universe (and if u watched the films) it is a pretty cool crossover. What I totally can’t understand is the ending with menendez, rorke etc - unless we are linking time travel from the zombies universe which I’m sure is linked thanks to kravchenko and all the things we found out in BOCW right?

Here's what I think The stuff beginning at vanguard just didn't happen. There's still the open opportunity that stitch didn't get killed. (I personally hope the theory that stitch had a sniper behind him in the last cutscene is true, and that it was bell) We just gotta wait for the next black ops for them to fully confirm everything
@@Lung-Stealer It doesn't really matter. Adler and Bell both drawed a gun on each other at the end of the Campaign where the crisis was avoided. Adler is still alive so it's clear that Bell was shot point blank.

The skull mask being curved inwards at the top instead of extending into the forehead was way better, 2023 Ghost mask makes his forehead look giant, plus 2019 just had better and more fitting skins, like Jawbone, Reckoner, Azrael, and the clsssics. And I liked Jeff a lot better both because of his voice and his involvement in the COD community, being a player himself (personal opinion. yes I am aware why Jeff didnt return to voice Ghost, personally I disagree with the heat they gave him)

I like it how Vanguard went from stopping Nazis post WW2 from unleashing, I'm guessing Nova 6 or a predecessor to Nova 6, then fighting Godzilla and Kong, then to seemingly fighting each other for some reason and then in Season 5, villains from different time-periods arriving and then I dont even think they bothered with a season 6, right?

Meeting butcher in the bunker in verdansk was a bit of a stretch but the boys had finally dealt with stitch and the Perseus threat so it’s fair to bring in a new story hence the caldera, and from the vanguard campaign the idea of a lethal gas going all the way through to the verdansk 2021 era is fair enough. Godzilla/kong, alright it’s nuts but in a fictional universe (and if u watched the films) it is a pretty cool crossover. What I totally can’t understand is the ending with menendez, rorke etc - unless we are linking time travel from the zombies universe which I’m sure is linked thanks to kravchenko and all the things we found out in BOCW right?

I just Ignore the Godzilla and kong event, it's just an event. Cause the map was stormy in season 3 in the game, so that part's true.
