    There’s a very beautiful quality to your work and designs. Plus, the videography is truly superb and artful. I’ve watched several of you videos now and, thanks to your generous content, feel ready to tackle my own rudimentary projects 😀

    I thought it was so funny that you used a plate. I do the same thing for scallops on chaps. I used to cut my double sided tape down the middle too to make it narrower but I found a big roll of 1/4" at Wawak. Order that you will love it. Thanks for the great video!!

    • @Corter

      I think using random kitchenware has become an integral part of my process :) I hear you on the tape - ordered the wrong size accidentally and been trying to work through it, I have a roll of proper 1/4" tape ready to go when it's done!

    HI Corter Leather! I am a serious leather worker, and have some questions. Why would you choose to glue/cement the outside pocket but only use the double sided tape when closing the entire wallet? Also, did you burnish the inner edges of the zipper hole before you glued down the zipper? Thanks ~ Timber and Tundra Leather Co.

    • @Corter
      @Corter  5 лет назад

      Just showing that you can close seams in multiple ways is all :) And yep - unless we forget (as happens during the craziness of filming a project once in a while) we burnish all edges just as we do in our normal work. We just don't show every single step because the videos would be very, very long and repetitive!

    Why double sided tape and no glue before folding it?

    • @Corter
      @Corter  6 лет назад +4

      just something different, yall see us glue every video :) it holds just as well for stitching and is a bit more tidy and predictable for installing zipper tape, it's just not a structural solution if you're looking to go stitch-free on something like a watch band. Really good for piping though!
