    There’s a great live recording of woody Shaw playing autumn leaves. Wilhelmshaven, Germany 1978. He uses this type of shifting on the 251 resolutions, which is to say he waits until measure 3,4 and 7,8 to shift and throw in his effects. Check it out if you can get a hold of it! 🐬
