How to install a kit that enables Wireless Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto in Porsche Macan 2017 and 2018 model years.
The kit supports touch screen. Radio type is PCM4.0.
List of Version 2 improvements:
- Wireless Android Auto is now supported
- no need for separate microphone for Siri or Google Assistant, now works through original car microphone
- less wiring and more simple installation
- Next/Prev Buttons are now supported
- Siri/GoogleAssistant invoked through Phone button

Hi, no you would need to press a button on the face of the stereo, or with use of touch screen from the Carplay menu.

Would I be able to see my Apple Maps / Google Maps on the right circular screen behind the steering wheel that shows navigation? If not, does that work for version 1 (which seemed to have replaced the nav button functionality)?
