- A very rare version of the well-known tune from SpongeBob Squarepants' "Jellyfish Jam", taken from a cassette recording in 1998.
This is a demo version of the track which is a combination of Stadium Rave A, B, and C, also available on my channel.
This is reuploaded from someone else who either deleted it or got taken down. No copyright infringement is intended as this is for archival and nostalgic purposes only. Mark Governor and APM Music have the credit to this.

I managed to contact Mark Governor, the guy who wrote Stadium Rave. He said it was the last song they recorded for the album that it came from, Clubmix in 1998. He and his co-composer wrote and composed it a single day and Mark played most of the synthesizer parts live to tape in single takes. He was surprised to hear his music on SpongeBob.
He said that it did not take inspiration from Get Ready for This, because he never heard it before back then, nor before he recorded it. The melody came from a marching band cue he wrote in the 1980s way before Get Ready For This came out in 1992. The name came from the fact that it was to have “a sports stadium-type marching band performing to a techno club beat”, hence the name Stadium Rave. The horn samples available were not very good that time, so he changed the horn to a techno sound.
He told me that it actually was played on an SC-88 SoundCanvas (percussion and effects only) and the keyboard sounds were done on a Korg M3.

well I think the original intended audience was a bunch of gay guys on ecstasy who were more concerned with getting a few hundred decibels of bass up there ass and a dude grinding on their dick than following along with the tune.

No, it was intentionally made to be licensed by tv and media producers exactly for things like this. He works for a company that intentionally licenses this music out for use. the director of Jellyfish Jam heard this and bought it for use.
That's what I was guessing, too. Everything starts out small and then eventually gets blown into larger proportions once popular and mainstream.
