Being from Texas its kind of the norm for people to wear cowboy boots everywhere, people also wear them to work on the daily and in the industrial parts and even just professionally. My uncle is a banker and he wears a suit with some cowboy boots for example. Growing up i didn’t wear cowboy boots but now that im going to work with other engineers on job sites everyone wears boots so i started too also. From Corpus Christi Tx btw!!

Hi Jeremiah.. absolutely agree with you .. I live in London and have been a London black cab driver for 30 years , I couldn’t be more English but have worn cowboy boots for 40 years and won’t wear anything else ( apart from a pair of boxing boots in the gym when I work out ) I don’t have a single pair of what you would call sneakers , we call them trainers, yes there are no boot stores here , some country stores may sell a few Ariats for example so I order my boots from from places like Boot daddy , direct from Lucchese , also amazon can be fairly good and they calculate the shipping and duty all into one fixed price ... on average it costs about £80/90 $ to ship here and it’s hit and miss when they arrive if you get stung for duty .... I pick people up from every put of the world every day and have never had a negative comment, to the contrary especially our good friends from Texas /US etc who rave about my boots and I think find it a novelty that we wear them over here lol .. I think what turns people off of boots is they may have brought a cheap ill fitting pair that hurt and the cost involved in shipping, duty etc when sizing is hit or miss ... of course always wear with jeans ( and Dan post cowboy certified socks which imo are the best , Four pairs worn in rotation every day last me around three years !! ) .... I’m just in the process of ordering some Hondos on the strength of your channel, keep up the good work my friend... maybe one day you’ll make to London and I’ll make it to Texas for some custom mades... Best wishes David 💥

Hi Jeremiah. Finally you touched on this topic - what to do for a Cowboy Boots enthusiast who lives where it-is almost impossible to get them. My interest in this type of footwear arose quite a long time ago, in the 70s, when there was simply nowhere to get Custom Cowboy Boots in Russia. But my interest was pretty strong, so I tried to solve my romantic problem. Surely my solution would seem funny to you. I myself converted the army boots I bought from a thrift store intо... if I may say so.. Cowboy Boots. By the way, it didn't turn out so bad. About a year ago I came across your videos and was very happy to meet a soul mate. Since then I am your subscriber. Hello from St.Petersburg.

I live in very rural UK and am definitely an oldie, but I wear them virtually every day 'cos they make me feel good. It took a lot to get the confidence to do this and yes I did get weird looks and the odd negative comment to start with but I think it's generally accepted now. I've got 9 pairs currently but have bought and sold on quite a few over the last few years mainly using ebay or occasionally vintage shops. I absolutely love them. To anyone who's summing up the courage to try them anywhere I'd just say go for it. You'll enjoy them and in the end who cares if other people don't approve. You're harming noone but missing out if you don't. I'm only sorry I hesitated for so long! Thanks Jeremiah for encouragement and your great videos.

C'mon! I'm not American, I am a Brit and I wear cowboy boots!
Yes, we do stand out, yes, people stare and some of them, specially teenagers will throw a jape and sneer: "were did you park the horse?" bless, their little brains can't give anything more than the flipping cliché. Some other people will react to them and some even will try to compliment you in order to avoid further embarrassment. The truth is that wearing cowboy boots is a sign of self-confidence that very few guys have the guts for. In my humble instagram account I have a fellowship of cowboy-boots wearers of 744 and at least 700 of them are European guys.
As to where we can find them in Europe: Barcelona and Madrid have stores of their renown brands. (not making adverting here). after that Brussels, Berlin, Sttutgart, Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, London, Verona (nearby), Rimini (also in Italy). I could give you the names and addresses of those stores. Some of them have websites where we can get all sort of brands, from American, Mexican, and Spanish makers mostly and some other surprising makers from other countries that do make western style boots, There are French and Italian, not surprising as their footwear industries are famous; there are also an English, Polish, Colombian, Venezuelan, Argentinian, Thai... and that's as far as I can see.
If you have the guts, get the boots! I'd say!

Sendras and cheap words I won't put side by side. They are bloody expensive. Allthough it might be just me feeling £250 per a pair of boots is a lot. And they have the shitty leather sole, which lasts 30 seconds on normal asphalt pavements. Also, they are super tight, narrow shafted and tall shafted boots. None of their shafts fits me, they just squash down. But also I love and wear cowboy boots and even a hat. I get a lot of strange looks from the local trolls, but I don't care.

hi Jeremiah, this is my first comment on your videos even though I´ve been watching you for a while now. I am a HUGE cowboy boot enthusiast from Costa Rica. It is so hard to find a nice variety of boots here even when we are an agriculture and cattle ranching oriented country; we can only find those ugly wide square toe boots, some mexican brands as well as Justin and a cheaper brand like Old West. NOW... EBAY is the place ; you have no idea the number of nice pointed toe (J-toe) , classic medium round and snip toes that I have bought in the last couple of years, all the way from Lucchese, Tony Lama to Justin and Dan Post. Most of these brand new vintage styles (we can´t import pre-owned shoes ). I am either 11.5 D or 12 D and that makes it even more difficult, but I spend a good half hour every other night on EBAY and I have bought super cool vintage (brand new) boots for awesome prices.

    • @JeremiahCraig

Cowboy boot are definitely not just for Americans to wear. I agree that places like Ebay are good for looking for boots outside the US. I have found that some times you bring up more results by searching for the brands of boots rather than just selecting the footwear category and western/ cowboy boots.
Also some larger companies such as Ariat have European websites, which do have a smaller selection of boots but a lot cheaper shipping plus no custom duty to pay. Plus you can return them far more easily.

I visit Poland for three months every year (well, except for this year). I wear boots nearly every day and you know what? Infrequently do the boots get noticed. When they are noticed...people find it intriguing, what a great way to meet people! Hell, I’ve had more questions about my fountain pen and my fleiger B dial watch than my boots.
Life became much more happy and fulfilling when I stopped worrying about what other people thought. Give yourself permission to be *you*. It is your life, if you want to wear boots, wear boots. Wear boots with shorts if you want. Treat others as you wish to be treated; every day find or do something that makes you happy and brings you joy. Have a peachy day!

@@JeremiahCraig Not really if you take out of the Latam the Mexican experience. The rest of the countries: almost zero.

Amen! Even though I’m stuck in the hell hole called the UK, I’ve got the heart and soul of a cowgirl and I’m staying true to the culture, however I’m on the other side of politics, do not support the narcissist (you know who I mean), naw, I’m a friend of Willie! #VoteEmOut!

David Jarvis believe me, it really is a hell hole, when you’re an autistic and disabled woman, suffering under immense hatred, exclusion, isolation and your rights being stripped bare one by one, this Tory government are taking the country back to the days of Thatcher! And from being a staunch Scottish Nationalist, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 are better off without Westminster!!

Alexandria Adamson ...sorry Alexandra, you didn’t say all of this in the original post I saw ... can I help you ?

David Jarvis you’d be lucky getting through these arseholes, I’ve tried everything in the book and others have helped without ANY outcome or hope, I’m holding on to dear life for the results of the Elections of November 3rd to find out if I can start proceedings to move out to the US and/or if there’s any progress of my fight to relocate back to Edinburgh, where I have supported employment and community support awaiting, thanks to the wonderful leadership of Nicola Sturgeon, as well as potential professional engagement with the music industry out in Nashville, New York and Orlando. Either way will be better than what I’m suffering rn, with the inability of getting out due to being housebound, and no support being offered in England whatsoever, particularly in Liverpool!

The UK is one of the best places in the world to live... especially if you are considering those with autism or are disabled. I grew up having lived in the UK and Asia. In China those with such disabilities are kicked out the home as it is shameful... and there is even underground euthanasia in some areas. You may not have the best life in the world but you should be grateful for what this wonderful country has tried to do for you. Be grateful you live in one of the most accepting countries in the world

What do I think of your song? I think you shouldn’t put stickers on the soundboard of an acoustic guitar. It deadens the sound.

I've heard this several times before. They aren't stickers, it's paint and my guitar sounds 👌😎

Cowboy boots can be worn anywhere and anytime. If people have problems with it.. just talk to them about it. Ans be sure to explain it's history in the world. And if they still don't understand that explanation ,show them what a J toe can do lol. J/K

I live in Germany, and I've been wearing Boots for years!
And most people are like: "Those are cool shoes"
And I would just tell them, that are boots,
and then they're like : "Oh, cool!"
