I have worn cowboy boots to my job for the last 24 years in a business casual environment. I have worn my boots with jeans, khakis, dress pants, suits and my tux. I don't care the circumstances, I will wear my boots.
They certainly can be dress up even to business formal with the correct toe and colors and leathers. As a general physician I've noticed even patients tend to trust more in me when I go business casual with boots. Boots certainly are very versatile.
Hell yea. Here in Texas cowboy boots with suits are a must. I wear my black Dan Post boots with a suit and tie. Sometimes I replace my tie with a Bolo Tie. So ofcourse for business casual and business professional cowboy boots are a must.
I live in Texas, but have a job that requires (pre Covid-19) extensive travel over all of North America. Cowboy boots are my work shoes. I am in sales management, so I am usually in business casual attire. For work I tend to wear ‘nicer’ boots, such as antelope or gator. When wearing jeans or for casual purposes I also wear boots, and I lean towards distressed leather or suede. Boots are my ‘thing’ and often are a conversation starter when in meetings in other parts of the country. Thanks for sharing!
Coming from a family owned comercial construction business where I handle the white collar stuff as well as the muddy blue collar work. I'm always in steel toe cowboy/ work boots. I've recently landed an office job selling company insurance and the interview went well but now I have an in person interview. But its my plan to stuck out a little bit and I want to thank you for making this video and the 5 things about a person who wears boots. They really analyzed what I was saying and now I can't wait for the interview tomorrow
Boots can be worn everywhere and at anytime. Just make sure your boots compliment the outfit you are wearing for the occasion. Some people need to experiment more with what they wear their boots with. I think some people just assume you have to be wearing jeans to wear boots. Not So. 😃
I wear boots in the office every single day. I wear wide square alot. They don't look quite as dressy imo but they are super comfortable and they count as business casual so i go ahead and wear them
Thats the great thing about cowboy boots, they can be dressy or casual. I wear them to the office with dress pants through the week and with jeans on casual Friday. I always get compliments on them, they get you noticed that's for sure. Thanks Jeremiah, nice video!
Back when I was in medical sales I wore boots regularly. Mine were calf, lizard or ostrich, medium toe. I also rode my Harley when making sales calls. I even had a few occasion's to attend black tie affairs...yep...I wore my black ostrich leg boots!
I'm from Algeria. I've been wearing cowboy boots since my high school days, back in 1990's, and all though university and I'm still wearing them (my new Dan Post black Teju lizard) now in my office in a business casual environment. And, man, I have always felt proud and comfy about it.
I wear boots with khakis all the time for work. A nice boot that can be polished looks great with khakis. I prefer a R tow or J tow (but that’s just me) I just bought a pair of black French toe boots from Ranch Road Mavericks specifically to wear with slacks, or more dressy occasions.
If you're ever looking for a good pair of slim khakis for cowboy boots, take a look at the Dockers D1 pants. They aren't really sold anymore but they are an amazing pair of pants for cowboy boots.
I wear my cowboy boots with suits, no problem... the only advice I would give, is stick to leather soles, so the look dress and sober colours and leathers and as you said round toes, so once the trousers go over the shafts, what you see is not that different from chelsea boots or oxford shoes.
2 people in upper admin wore suits and boots. They were always the ones to lead very well. My boss wore kakis and Dan Posts all the time during working hours in my division. I wore mine daily and the little guy I was in charge of used to stomp on my toes, he gave up on the boots because I would just smile and say "cant feel it". He eventually fell in place and gave up attacking me and became my side kick .
I wear vtg Justin Lizard with khakis and blazer, I wear Dan Post black Kingsley's with dress pants, coat, and tie. If I have a semi dress down (blue jean) day I will wear Dan Post Alamosa's with a fitted dress shirt (no tie)
Jeremiah I love your videos where you talk very passionately about boots. Could you do a review on Sendra boots? I'd really love to have an opinion on them from somebody whom wears badass cowboy boots everyday.
I'm glad i watched this video. I'm in my 50's and never wore boots, but now have a pair of brown and black harness boots. Do you think I can wear em with Dickies cargo pants?
I do believe dress boots, such ones that are more clean and not worn to a barn, are definitely more appropriate and look great in business casual environments.
if have 2 wear business casual or business atire i would always wear my cowboy boots cause i hate dress shoes they are uncomfortable as shit and extremely expensive cowboy boots are a lot cheaper
Any suggestions for a first pair of boots? I am an executive in a business casual attire setting. I normally wear Redwing Iron Rangers, Samuel Hubbard or Thursday Boot Chelseas, but would like to get a good pair of functional Cowboy Boots. Budget is up to $400. Thanks!!
Boulet and Rujo are good options in that range especially if you want to go exotic leathers. If you are gonna be standing at conferences a lot, Chisos have great insoles but are more pricey at $500
Ok, I’m the same guy who was giving you crap about saying “Sneakers”! Ha Ha I really don’t like the square toes at all. I’m w you on the round toe and more pointed traditional. You’re gonna hate to hear this after I razzed you so much... we’ve apparently got a lot in common! 🤠 I wear boots everyday...I can see you’re a musician...me too. Good pitch! 😁. Where (about) are you? Just curious. 🍻
Nothing beats the great look of a darker faded blue boot cut jeans , a good cowboy boot preferably round toe for me and either a white dress shirt or a black dress shirt . This is the best way to dress up with cowboy boots IMO

That's what I'm talking about! 👊
I even wear leather pants with cowboy boots and it feels so god
I like to wear cowboy boots with my jorts

I trust people with boots more often too haha! Totally true
Never ever mess with someone who wear cowboy boots they are confident and those boots are ass kicker
Yes...!

Sweet. That's classy!
How do you stop trousers from bunching into the top of the boot? Or do they make bootcut business pants in Texas

To me my boots represent hard work, the ability to solve problems the vast knowledge I have and above all... that these steel toes WILL kick your ass.
Kick ass and take names Jose!! Good luck in you interview. Sounds like any company would be lucky to have you

It's really the best option all around!

LOVE the wedding suit with boots. Super combo!
Of course! And they go nicely with a suit as well....
For real!
They can be super formal too. I wore my full quill Lucchese’s at graduation!
You know it! I wore caiman tail boots for my wedding
Cowboy boots are super versatile! So many outfits that you can wear with cowboy boots! Both casual and formal alike depending on the boot of course!
Damn straight!

I would definitely wear cowboy boots if I worked in an office job even a remote office job

True the leather soles do have a cleaner more professional look. Thanks for watching!
In places where many men have dress boots, daily wear boots, and work boots, I think it is safe to wear boots for business casual environments.

Totally. It's the best way to pay respects
This made me laugh for some reason lol my uncle wore them to funerals or anywhere lol
What kind of cowboy boots would YOU wear with Ely cattlemen embroidered western or high noon embroidered western?.
Love boots compa🖐
What body type works best with Square wide toe? Or even the square French toe?
Greetings from San Luis Potosi Mexico. I was wondering what kind of cowboy slacks do you recommend for square toe boots?
If you have a wide foot can medium toe boots still be confortable
Totally! Toe shape shouldn't matter as long as you get the right size for you
You know you can!!

ARE BOOTS CONSIDERED "APPAREL?" Can you respond to all? Watching show on are boots ok for business wear? Thx much. Great shows!
Thanks! If you consider clothes "apparel," I guess you could make that arguement.
They are great if you work in a car dealership
