I have this camper. We have put about 8000 miles on it. We have camped in all types of weather. A small ceramic heater keeps it very warm in a 10 degree snowy night. Lots of cabinet space. Have a microwave over, air fryer and an induction top for cooking. Sleeps two adults and a 60 pound pup very nice. We tow with a Honda Odyssey with no issues. Backs easily into the garage when not in use.

I have been considering buying a rustic trail. I have followed them on Facebook for a good while. I have been in the owners group to read and listen, I have not posted. I have called, and asked the company questions.
This morning I politely asked them on a Facebook post if they have considered making a composite version of the Kodiak off-road. They responded with a long post dismissing me as a potential customer simply since I asked a polite question. I asked more direct questions, and said I didn’t appreciate being dismissed as a customer simply bc I asked a polite question. They deleted all of the discussion, and blocked me on Facebook.
This is clearly a company who does not deal with at least some customers in a way I want a company I buy from to respond to customers. Buyer beware! I have screen shots of the entire discussion if anyone wants to see them.

Woah, never like to see stuff like that. When you say the Facebook group, is it just other owners or is the company involved with these responses?
I would be interested in seeing the screenshots, people asked me for recommendations on campus all the time, the whole story is helpful. Can you email them to me at

Hello Brian, I noticed on the back of of this teardrop trailer there is a receiver to put a bike rack on! Was this put on by manufacture or an aftermarket? I have a NuCamp 2023 TAB 320S Boondock version, not a clam shell, and looking for some info! Is it possible to have a receiver somehow installed on the back of my teardrop to handle the weight of an e-bike. And not be over weight or wrong distribution of weight? Who or what type of company could determine if this would be safe and legally doable on the back of this teardrop. I own an e-bike which weighs approx. 65lbs and a Thule EasyFold XT 2-bike hitch bike rack which weighs 45lbs with a load capacity of 130lbs. Any input or suggestions?

A lot of good mechanic shops would do that for you. Some people have had luck with muffler shops because they are willing to do the welding.
You might be able to buy a part like this and have them weld it for you. Ask around before buying the part.
As for weight distribution, you need to make sure that you have proper way on the tongue of the trailer so it doesn't fishtail. I have a video on the channel about tongue weight that will help you make adjustments once you have the job done. Let me know if you need help finding a video.
      Thanks for watching!

I have the same Kodiak stealth camper. It comes with rear hitch from the manufacturer and it is rated for 250 pounds. I’ve seen a couple of people use it for ebikes. You would not be pushing the limit when you consider the weight of the bike and rack.
