I just watched the Simpsons on TV, the episode where Lisa and her family is wacthing the dark threat 3 or something wahetevr. And it was only special effects. They confront George Lucas and tell him what they've seen they don't like it it's only special effects and have no feeling to it. Well that pretty much sums up what Diablo has become. It's all about character progression, the story itself is Worth nothing it's way to easy it's nothing to beat Diablo only resistance is Malthael. And quite frankly it aint got no feeling to it. It's all milking the franchise maybe the best thing to do is just let the gold titles stay right where they are and make no second or third.
I also dislike this design, looks more pathetic than scary. In D1 when you unlocked the final room he rushed at you and you got scared just by that. In D2 he looked more defined and alive. But here he just looks like some generic anime villain.
@@hungarianbeast I don't think it looks that bad I actually think it looks pretty intimidating although in Diablo 2 he looked a lot more intimidating then in D3.
The issue Diablo ll has is that you don't have enough skill points to really distribute into too many skills without your effectiveness dropping towards the end, you need to pick one build strategy and stick to it with every play through. This was horrible in particular with the sorceress, in that you can only choose one element in order to do enough damage later (such as ice sorc), but half the characters in hell mode were immune to ice, so you were f@cked. Diablo lll encourages experimenting
my build is: - Electrocute, whatever rune u want. -Teleport, Fracture rune: summon 2 decoys after teleporting for 8 secs - Wave of Force, Impactful Wave rune: increase radius + stun for 2 secs - Frost Nova, Bone Chill rune: +15% damage when the target is frozen - Hydras, Mammoth Hydras rune - Mirror Image, either Mirror Mimic or Mocking Demise, both will add up nicely to ur damage, Mocking Demise even give the death of ur mirror images almost 100% chance to stun for 2 secs. - Evocation: reduce cd by 15% for all spells - Illusionist: instantly refresh cd of mirror image, teleport and slow time skills when u receive a hit that takes 15% of ur hp, which is vital in this build. - Blur: 20% decrease in melee damage taken. It's quite a hit and run short of build, using teleport and mirror image as the securing methods while waiting for cd on wave of force and frost nova, but once you are used to it and time the combo rightly, you take almost no damage at all. just let him get close to you, wave of force > 2 secs of hydras and electrocute > frost nova > 3 secs of hydras and electrocute > mirror images + teleport away > avoiding his spells > repeat the combo. It's a long run combo though.
Do note that Blizzard has used those resource and health orbs since the original Diablo. Diablo one and two had them - which where both released before Lionheart. (1996 *US, 1997 EU* and 2000, whereas Lionheart was released in 2003)
They definitely shouldn't have added the Heath Shrines and let Diablo abuse the Red Lightning, hell he is suppose to be much stronger than he was in 2, let him be able to fire the Red lightning while chasing after us in a "Get back here ya wrench!"
I always use ice base atc with cold blood passive ability to slow down every boss and enemy, and mirror image to act as decoy. so far it only took me 5mins to kill him at hell mode (50K-100K(critical) dmg per hit from my cold beam)
Lazer of death (red and fire-ish) is from the 2. Fire circle is from the 2. Bone prisons is from the 2. So no, although there are some new, they aren't WAY different like you said.
The most awesome part of this fight was when Diablo was going through his death animation and the wizard just kept pouring more and more pure arcane cosmic energy into him until he exploded.
what is the level of the character here? none of the first 3 levels lasted more than 3 minutes for me i am not sure about inferno because i just reached act3 here
Cant capture the old nostalgia, never both this one. Love the old overhead graphics, like the good old ultima, altho they arent high tech 3d super boosted, but they have something.. For people saying how terribly weak Diablo is, its not that Diablo is weak as fuck, its that the Auction House made everyone stupidly powerful. It probably would have taken me months of grinding and looting to find equipment satisfactory to just get past Belial on Inferno as I found his Boss room restrictive nature very difficult to deal with as a Mage.
that might be true for Inferno, but what's with the other 3 difficulties ? why do i have to play the same thing 3 times, until i get a challenge ?? i jumped over act 3 and 4 on normal with one of my chars, and nightmare was still unfunny easy.
Palo Kan I speak specifically about Inferno because its SUPPOSED to be difficult, but its easy because of the Auction House. The Auction House definitely broke Hell and Nightmare as well, but for the hardest difficulty to be beaten the way I beat it, is just stupid. If the Auction House didn't exist, I'm sure Hell would have been difficult, and Nightmare being a bit of a challenge.
rmyd027 yes! Hell WAS difficult for me with my monk. i started thinking about how to beat those yellow and blue mobs, died around 30 times in act 1 hell, but then i bought 2 new weapons in the AH, and my damage went up from 2k to 7,5k. after that, it got really boring .... and yes, i know i am stupid for doing this, but once you did it, the fun's gone. at least for me. another problem is, that you can use every gem for every low level char and equipment. my sorcerer has NO AH items, but she has i think 8 sockets, full with Flawless Square, and that at Level 30.
you apparently dont keep track of the lore. he purposly was defeated the other times in order to minipulate the other evils into getting defeated by you and gettign captured into the black soulstone in order to absorb them all and become the prime evil. and now in diablo 3 they leave it wide open by lettign us THINK we killed him again but his soulstone emains and adria is still around to assist him.
It doesn't really matter who he possess, he basically has the same look (unless he gains more power, then his form changes). It has nothing to do with possessing Lea...
I like the fact that you fight him in 3 modes: First he is normal Then he is black and spawn mirror chars. Awesome! Last he gets back to normal again :( Or is it just me? Would love if he had gone totally berserk at third stage, but no big change is seen imo.
He gets his good old lightning hose which now just destroys you in 0.2 seconds Sadly, unlike in D2, this one is much easier to dodge cause it's not as fast and diablo does not aim instantly where you are at and it also has a 1 second cast time, which d2 did not have and this usually made the difference
I played the first fight on the highest difficulty (master) and was still able to tank every hit and kill him with 1 skill alone. Diablo is way too easy. I wish it was as difficult as in this video
Yes, but it has nothing to do with the comment he referred that statement to. Between "Those (I guess few) whom enjoyed the first two diablo are not as many as those whose enjoyed WoW" and "im just saying that you dont have to love WoW to love Diablo" exists no meaningful logical connection whatsoever. 1. Statement is about the cardinality of two sets of players ( WoW and d1,d2). 2. Statement is about relation between elements of these sets (x in WoW ↔ x in d1,d2 resp. the negation of it).
I wasn't playing Diablo 3 and will not play but im curious why Diablo look so different in this game? In D2 he looks so muscular and "manly". Now he looks like a female....
If you haven't played D2, it seems a lot better because the guys who played D2 (including me) have the curse of nostalgia, other than that it is a good game, so sure.
I just started the wizard and I'm kinda disapointed...I rocked the game with the barb without any trouble through inferno. But i feel like the wizard is not powerful enough...
The game itself is quite polished. I've noticed very few errors (not to say there aren't any of course, but in comparison to say Skyrim? it's next to flawless), I think as I said in my last comment is people had made up their minds before the game came out. And we all know the debut night was rougher than expected, and even though that has since been fixed, alot of idiots have decided never to forgive them...it's sad really.
I was starting to believe I'm the only one who loves this game and sees any kind of bug or problem in it as an honest and fixable mistake. The massive hating proves D3 honors its predecessors as it gets more and more polemic and discussed. However, if the haters realized they can help make their game more enjoyable by contributing with their ideas instead of plain, childish hating, D3 would be what its meant to be.
Ye, it's the stuff that gave d1 and d2 its atmosphere and made it fun to play. There are plenty of examples for dull nostalgia talk, but this isn't one of them.
Dps doesn't mean nothing. My dps in inferno mode with my barbarian is a low 14,243 dps. With crits i do around 60 k damage. I would work on getting your resists up.
In RPG terms its laughable that the demon is weak against fire damage. These creatures are made of fire and should be quite immune to any fire attack. Water or Earth, sure, but fire? Nope.
It doesn't matter if Diablo possessed a girl or not, he does not change shape unless he gains power (which he did since he absorbed the other 6 evils). So, him possessing the girl.. Really makes no difference in his look. (also, Diablo has allways had horns over his heels)
Nah...D2 is way more scary and better. I still play my D2 84 lvl Necromancer time to time. I remember how I fight Diablo at first time, and his unreal red lightninght that kills you in 1 second)))) that was a real challenge, not this shit. Sorry for my English I am from Russia.
WTF, healing shrines in a boss fight!? No, just no. Also, did they seriously think it would make the Diablo fight "fun" to just make it unnecessarily long? In D2 he had a shorter health bar, but he did so much more damage. He was also creepier too. Like he would run like a dog or something. I am not feeling the "terror" factor here.
I've tried to stay optimistic that truth is the universal constant I've been searching for. That we are all capable of being real. But reality has become so distorted it could almost be called a dream. Too many wrong presumptions are made coping with the burdening influx of destiny and it has reached a point where the only truth left is that this world was founded on falsities. Lies will now forever be what makes us human. Lies are what will keep us from pointless thoughts like these.
i think the last Act in Diablo 3 went by way too quickly it was like 3 quest and then all of the sudden you have to fight Diablo. It was one of those "wait...what?" moments for me
you know, if this was the REAL Prime Evil, they would have incorporated aspects of the evils that came before via moveset, maybe andariel's poison wave, duriel's cold charging stun attack, mephisto's d2 sorc spells, diablo's red lightning, baals cold wave/nova bolts, belials "meteor strike" (looks like balefire), azmodan's dark ground. Or at least give him some more unique skills other than just firestorm/flame wave 2 and bone prisons, felt like they weren't even trying going into the end of the games development cycle *as if they weren't trying that hard beforehand anyways*
A very interesting way to advertise your YT channel. WOrd of advice though, nobody wants to check out a channel from someone who comes across as bitter. lol
+Joshua Ramos Oh dude, I know exactly what you mean. Diablo 1 and 2 had that eerie, dark, mysterious feel to it. While Diablo 3 is like, "look, I'm scary, raaaawr". It's so childish.... its like a saturday morning cartoon. I got back into Diablo 3, cuz I heard it got better in terms of gameplay and end game. But whenever I play I skip every single dialogue, I'm afraid it's going to ruin it for me.
I think your gameplay was very sweet for being a wizard on solo. Wizard on solo, especially on harder difficulties, is overwhelmingly hard at times. So kuddos to you for being bad ass. eue
Man really? it doesn't suck at all. The game is addictive, good graphics, great cinematics, unique and revolutionary skill system...the online requirement is really the games only weakness, and even then, it doesn't affect 95% of people playing it, they're just pissed off anyway. But really, the issue here is people love Diablo ll so much, they simply refuse to acknowledge any of Diablo lll's positive attributes.. This was always going to happen. Opinions are generally ignorant and bigoted.
well..a friend has told me that Diablo is easier than Belial in Normal mode..cus (its what he told me, hes experienced, hes at hell now =p), in Normal mode, you actually sorta just started the game. so everything is harder, as is Belial. But Diablo seems to be pretty easy according to most people.
desert had radament and if you read the story that is freaking dark. Makes you feel proud to kick that guys ass :). Jungle has mephisto with all them dead bodies and stuff . Mount arreat has that guy who sells you gamble items and turns out he is a ctually bad....CREEEPY and baal ofcourse :)
No. He's not. There are a couple possible explanations for his physical appearance, but saying them would be spoilers. He's been referenced as a male in all the games including this one.
You guys may say whatever you like about D3 ,but you can't deny the fact that it is a fun game. I mean I enjoyed D2 and D3 both equally. Never played D1 sadly :C wasn't born in that area just yet :D. I went on the Diablo train back at 2010- 2011 when I played D2 for the first time it was an amazing game, but D3 is also a good game none the less. I was waiting for a new Diablo game and Diablo Immortal came out was really disappointed not mad, but disappointed because its mobile. I mean they could have made it for mobile and PC it wouldn't have hurt to transition the game from mobile to PC. Just like they did for console from PC to console because I generally not a fan to play games on a android/IOS smartphone.
666 comments, eh? Would be a shame if something were to happen to -oh wait!- Muahahahahahahaha!!! I think it was a bit of a mistake for Blizzard to end the game on such a positive note. Diablo 1, you stab your face with a stone and get possessed. Diablo 2, Baal gets his soulstone and kills Marius and burns the asylum down. Diablo 2 LoD, Baal corrupts the Worldstone and Tyrael has to destroy it. Diablo 3, Diablo and the Prime Evils are banished forever. Everything is so... bright... 0_0
Is it only me that honestly think it would be better if they removed the last act from normal difficulty, just teasing you with the act 4 cutscene, and then went like "The nightmare has become reality, reach it in the nightmare difficulty".. It would make it harder to "rush the story", and mostly.. it's so disappointing when defeating THE PRIME EVIL in normal mode, shrugging your shoulders and go like "meh, that was Easy.."
man it lacks the complete atmosphere of diablo 2/1
That Diablo looks like the Mother Alien from the Movie.
I just watched the Simpsons on TV, the episode where Lisa and her family is wacthing the dark threat 3 or something wahetevr. And it was only special effects. When it took more then 10 seconds to kill a boss....
Ten seconds? Even heavy amped defeating one of them took me ~1 minute...in D2.
Yea that was boring

BLIZZARD MUST KNOW - DIABLO IS NOT WARCRAFT
diablo does look like xenomorph queen of alien
The worst fucking ending a game could have. You defeat diablo, some angels appear saying good job in not more than 2 SENTENCES and thats it.?!
I know i've beaten the game myself.
He just sorta falls over before the Diablo fight as far as I remember. I don't think he's ever specifically shown dying
my build is:
- Electrocute, whatever rune u want.
-Teleport, Fracture rune: summon 2 decoys after teleporting for 8 secs
- Wave of Force, Impactful Wave rune: increase radius + stun for 2 secs
- Frost Nova, Bone Chill rune: +15% damage when the target is frozen
- Hydras, Mammoth Hydras rune
- Mirror Image, either Mirror Mimic or Mocking Demise, both will add up nicely to ur damage, Mocking Demise even give the death of ur mirror images almost 100% chance to stun for 2 secs.
- Evocation: reduce cd by 15% for all spells
- Illusionist: instantly refresh cd of mirror image, teleport and slow time skills when u receive a hit that takes 15% of ur hp, which is vital in this build.
Hey how high is your level and the dificulty are you playing? Because i ented up with him in a couple of minutes.
+Rune Birkmose For that you were probably in a really high level i suspect.
+Rune Birkmose Hey thats cool, nice work.
+T@wesomE the game didnt work the same way in 2012, it worked in a different way back then
Alexander Odder
That figures.
It's no coincidence. A lot of the features on Diablo are taken straight out of the HR Giger handbook.
Not bad...
I wonder, have you played Diablo 2 and Diablo 1 and to what extend? If you have played, what do you personally think of Diablo3?
which programme you use for recording? ;_;
They definitely shouldn't have added the Heath Shrines and let Diablo abuse the Red Lightning, hell he is suppose to be much stronger than he was in 2, let him be able to fire the Red lightning while chasing after us in a "Get back here ya wrench!"
Hmm... I had a suspicion when Leah was the vessel... but didn't know it that deep. How did you know?
I always use ice base atc with cold blood passive ability to slow down every boss and enemy, and mirror image to act as decoy. so far it only took me 5mins to kill him at hell mode (50K-100K(critical) dmg per hit from my cold beam)
Now why would they kill someone as adorable as diablo, I mean rlly did u see how cute he was as he was falling?
how the hell did you do this i keep getting caged picked up and 1 hit KO -_-
Lazer of death (red and fire-ish) is from the 2. Fire circle is from the 2. Bone prisons is from the 2.
So no, although there are some new, they aren't WAY different like you said.
The most awesome part of this fight was when Diablo was going through his death animation and the wizard just kept pouring more and more pure arcane cosmic energy into him until he exploded.
so nostalgic video.... i remember when we needed to indentify yellows, when diablo was end boss.... and we had that fucking auction house
what is the level of the character here?
none of the first 3 levels lasted more than 3 minutes for me
i am not sure about inferno because i just reached act3 here
Cant capture the old nostalgia, never both this one. Love the old overhead graphics, like the good old ultima, altho they arent high tech 3d super boosted, but they have something.. Dont like this flashing and showing how many hit points are give. Its like its made for wow players.. And a friend told me who has this that your character is wiped after a while? Monthly or something? Whats that shit?.. Correct me if im wrong..
it seems to me people see this as boring cus the graphics are overwhelming the gameplay, somthing that can be seen in pretty much any modern game. the gameplay isnt much different then the old diablos, or the gameplay of any other games with theyr classics overall, but the graphics then werent peaking out of the gameplay. therefor i think modern games are bad at ballancing artistic dynamics with gameplay dynamics.
For people saying how terribly weak Diablo is, its not that Diablo is weak as fuck, its that the Auction House made everyone stupidly powerful. It probably would have taken me months of grinding and looting to find equipment satisfactory to just get past Belial on Inferno as I found his Boss room restrictive nature very difficult to deal with as a Mage.
that might be true for Inferno, but what's with the other 3 difficulties ? why do i have to play the same thing 3 times, until i get a challenge ?? i jumped over act 3 and 4 on normal with one of my chars, and nightmare was still unfunny easy.

rmyd027 yes!
I beat diablo just by playing the game... No grinding at all
one question: in what level is this gameplay? I think it was very easy. It must be more hard.
you apparently dont keep track of the lore. he purposly was defeated the other times in order to minipulate the other evils into getting defeated by you and gettign captured into the black soulstone in order to absorb them all and become the prime evil. and now in diablo 3 they leave it wide open by lettign us THINK we killed him again but his soulstone emains and adria is still around to assist him.
its regarding the story line as leah's mother (traitor) indulges the power in diablo
It doesn't really matter who he possess, he basically has the same look (unless he gains more power, then his form changes). It has nothing to do with possessing Lea...
What difficulty was it when you faced him? Nightmare?
I like the fact that you fight him in 3 modes:
First he is normal
Then he is black and spawn mirror chars. Awesome!
Last he gets back to normal again :(
Or is it just me? Would love if he had gone totally berserk at third stage, but no big change is seen imo.
thats just the fight . when hes black its technically "shadow of diablo" doesnt make him any tougher
scott charleton Its still another mode.. Do you have anything to add on the third stage?
no no . just saying technically he doesnt get stronger is my point
He gets his good old lightning hose which now just destroys you in 0.2 seconds
Sadly, unlike in D2, this one is much easier to dodge cause it's not as fast and diablo does not aim instantly where you are at and it also has a 1 second cast time, which d2 did not have and this usually made the difference
It's like a kick-ass version of Gandalf the Grey versus the Balrog of Moria. YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!!!!
How do u Rec like that while u gaming??? just want to know thats all
not even death can save you from me.
Don't Wizards have a time distortion field? I remember using it on solo Diablo and it made him so easy.
I like how you play. I might have watched this video some 10x hahahaha
Congrats! You play very well ☺️
im geting this game
I have never played Diablo before, what do you do after you beat the boss?
I played the first fight on the highest difficulty (master) and was still able to tank every hit and kill him with 1 skill alone. Diablo is way too easy.
I wish it was as difficult as in this video
hey I know y'all saying it's not scary but u have to admit Diablo does look pretty badass
How many hours does it take to play through the diablo 3 story?
I wasn't playing Diablo 3 and will not play but im curious why Diablo look so different in this game? In D2 he looks so muscular and "manly". Now he looks like a female....
I didn't play any Diablo but I read about the lore, doesn't it looks exactly like Mephisto?
It's like he says at the start of the fight "The seven Evils are one within me ! I am legion.", he evolved so thats why he's different then D2.
***** OHHH, now I understand. Thanks.
De400Slagen lol, rule 64 is strong here xD
Not to spoil anyone, but this time he reincarnated on a female, hence the anatomy :)
Diablo is PMS-ing
Hey , can someone tell me what gear and spells he is using there?
Was forced to play this on the easiest difficulty setting and had no desire to ever play it again. I miss Diablo 2.
didn't play long enough d2, but on hell&inferno d3 is hard. especially wizards are hard to play solo
why didn't you use hydra's the whole time?
Dude i can feel the Canadian from a mile away!
help my computer can run borderlands on all high settings can it run diablo 3??? im using the amd radeon 6500 series
Hey it's Cho' Gath! What is he doing in this game?
If you haven't played D2, it seems a lot better because the guys who played D2 (including me) have the curse of nostalgia, other than that it is a good game, so sure.
Twe, FUCK, his monstrous screaming sounds like Ghom lel
I just started the wizard and I'm kinda disapointed...I rocked the game with the barb without any trouble through inferno. But i feel like the wizard is not powerful enough...
Too many ads on RUclips. Really suffering from it.
The game itself is quite polished. I've noticed very few errors (not to say there aren't any of course, but in comparison to say Skyrim? it's next to flawless), I think as I said in my last comment is people had made up their minds before the game came out. And we all know the debut night was rougher than expected, and even though that has since been fixed, alot of idiots have decided never to forgive them...it's sad really.
i didnt hear that... but i did hear dust from diablo scattering...
I still enjoyed it, just got bored of it after a while, and went back to playing D2.
I get a free game?
What about the computer virus thats included?
Is that free as well or do I have to pay?
Fire vs. Diablo? Really? DatLogic...
Diablo logic, perhaps :-P :-P
Im pretty sure that is disintegrate which would be arcane damage back in 2012. Still though this fight is yawn.
Have to try everything i guess
is this normal or nightmare or hell or infeno prlly not last inferno snice no1 has finished inferno mode yet :D
You should've used frost nova! It would've been a gr8 way of blocking many of his most powerful attacks :D
Nope.
Tactic for wizard: laser spam spam spam spam spam ... end
All these people saying "Diablo is easy to kill" probably have never faced Diablo on Torment 6... Granted I think Belial is the toughest fight.
Who is the angel Tyrael is looking at 17:06
Diablo looks like Feral Chaos fro Dissidia.
"Not even Death can save you from me"*.
I prefer Diablo 1 & 2
no shit! Diablo 1&2 where better than this
Take care guys Diablo 2 Remake comes out.... Add the Site in Facebook : The Curse of Tristram in 2 weeks comes out
LegendaryTV neat
no
The legion of evil: The 3 prime evils and the 4 lesser evils.. Legion has nothing to do with how many there is
i hope i can solo this evil with my demon hunter next week
Right, the Devil incarnate would be telling you how "you can get out of here" .... Sigh.
I wish this game is a hack and slash game just like Devil May Cry, God Of War, etc.
Wizard is a spellcaster..u do not need a tank to tank enemies..i used blizzard with meteor multp strikes and he died in 20mins
It doesn't matter if Diablo possessed a girl or not, he does not change shape unless he gains power (which he did since he absorbed the other 6 evils). So, him possessing the girl.. Really makes no difference in his look. (also, Diablo has allways had horns over his heels)
finish it one more time and join us... welcome to hell mode

+Ada Wong Don't give shit about healing shrines when in diablo 2 you could just hog like 4 health potions and drink them as fast as you want to!
+TheKaneECO and can use town portal to buy more potions :D
Not during a boss fight.
Ada Wong ok well its called Diablo what would you think you will have to fight the Diablo at some point
Ada Wong The things d said should be a terror factor enough
The new Diablo looks very ladylike😂
He is in a female body here. In D1 and D2 he possesses a male.
That's too deep
hes one of the 3 brothers of the prime evils, therefore he is a male :P
i think the last Act in Diablo 3 went by way too quickly it was like 3 quest and then all of the sudden you have to fight Diablo.
WOrd of advice though, nobody wants to check out a channel from someone who comes across as bitter. lol
I found the part where Diablo tells the character about the Realm of Terror cheesy. And man, it's ridiculously long. Not hard, but long.
Did you play on normal mode or hard? i beat him without a sweat playing barbarian on normal mode...
Indeed. But barbarian = fucking bruiser. Damn damages and tank.
I beat diablo in 40ish seconds on normal mode with the wizard. This is a harder difficulty.
He's been referenced as a male in all the games including this one.
n1ppe voisiks sä harkita ainaki yhen suomalaisen commentaryn tekemist ku pelaat? Se ois tosi mahtavaa sun suomalaisille faneille :D
Boss wizaaaard
Would be a shame if something were to happen to -oh wait!-
Muahahahahahahaha!!!
