One of the better no spin instructions...taking small steps, then backing up gradually makes good sense...the others are good throwers but don't relate to the actual release... we are learning from a person still learning ... can relate...!!👍
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”Ephesians 2:8-9“for ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Romans 10:13
Excellent video, my brother and I used to have knife throwing competions years ago, we threw one of those old 'Rambo knives' at backyard targets until the el cheapo handle broke, and used other implements, heard that butter knives could be used with limited success, but I need to get something like the above.
Brian, you look like your cold, try living up here in pa, we had that deep freeze, now we have a break in the weather, but we're heading back into another freeze this coming week, so I hope you get warmer an keep making more videos.
Thank you Brian for another great video. I've enjoyed all your videos over the past year. Anxiously looking forward to seeing what coming next year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. God bless you and your family and have a blessed day my friend.

Very interesting video but you look like you’re freezing. Didn’t think it got cold enough to see your breath down there. I spent part of a winter at my grandparents farm in southern Illinois when I was a kid. With the humidity in the air the wind went right thru you. We got drier air up here but it still gets a bit cool. I like the way you explained the knife throwing. It was easy to understand. I never was very good at it (didn’t practice enough) but now I got to figure it out from a wheelchair.
Zero-rotation throwing. You're right about keeping the wrist straight (women knife throwers have an automatic advantage, there). I'm surprised you keep your strong-side foot back, but it works for you. You're demonstrating a skill the US Army and Uncle Sam's Motherless Children should consider essential, but don't (or didn't). Keep on educating people. If they don't like the way you do things, they can learn their own way.
No spin is instinctive, and once you’ve got it down, you can make accurate lethal throws, from any distance. One, full spin, is typically a set distance, for a lot of throwers. Always exceptions though.
So when I was a kid I had a really hard time throwing knife spinning it and I practice with screwdrivers and butter knives and I figured out a way to (no spin) throw, now growing up throughout the years not a lot of people knew what the hell no spin knife throwing was, so they told me I was doing it (wrong) but was still having a positive outcome 🤣, so I told them it was called straight throwing and I thought I had (invented some new style) of throwing a knife hahaha SO when I got older I was showing somebody how to straight throw a knife, and they told me no that's an old American style no spin technique. I was like, I've never heard of that? I just called a straight throwing because I didn't think anyone else did it, and the old guy was laughing saying no it's just not as common because people don't think it looks as fancy or as easy. So I literally self-taught myself how to no spin throw when I was young haha

Well, you saw me throw. Like I said, I don't consider it a viable self defense technique. You may be an expert and deadly with a throwing knife, I'm not.
@@SurvivalOnPurpose I can respect that but it was more of a generalized rhetorical question. In my opinion the effectiveness is circumstantial. If your opponent is armed or not or what type of weapon they have for instance, or if you have more than one knife to increase odds or in case you need one for close quarters (it's why I don't knock the small, inexpensive ones that everyone else does).
This is actually a really good training method, thanks for the tip

What’s the advantage of No spin vs 1 rotation ??merry Christmas to u and yours

Thank you
Good video . Merry X mas to you & your family .
Pray for the dog behind the tree. Lol
It’s for looking through
Link for those knives?
Now get in the house and get warm!!!
Now I knows w how I can thow knifes like I'm Dio
Uhm do you have a small dog with a big tail or was that a skunk 🦨 at 1:38 I'm not funnin you just curious
10 or 12 feet is about all u can get with a straight spin pretty much
no spin sorry
Completely incorrect, with some practice, 5m is not difficult, and 7m is achievable. With no spin throwing.
It appears to me that the further you are from the target, the earlier you have to let go of the knife.
Chuck Norris went to the virgin island , now they just call them the islands
WTH????¡!

Wait, stabbing a potential threat isn't practical self defense? Lol

I can no spin throw better than anyone else on black ops...
Merry Christmas
