I love that he gave his Korean friends their english names, and then one friend has "Maradona"
Thats not even an English name but rather Spanish
English name in Asia just means any name an international community can easily pronounce
@@Cxs1a3 English names are from England your concept is very wrong. Most proper names in Europa are of Latin or Greek origin.
@@carlosmantethats how asian think. My korean gf say same thing
@@user-yo9jo2fy5e Yes.
I really like this husband, i love that he actually asks his friends how to parent his son better and they give him some advice that shows that he is willing to improve. I also love that they have this big group of friends who also have their own kids, its so cute to see the support system that they have around them.
and since when they are good father? like some westerner men?
@@blackiedarling7539 huh? His a good father lol
@@blackiedarling7539 what are you trying to say???
@@ilikebread7052 he is not really a good father if you see the other episodes is just uh he treats his son more different than the girl like uhh its probably bc he never had time with his dad and like ye idk how to explain it
@@user-cf4pv8cn6jI just don’t understand how he a bad father 🤔
0:52 Great to know there is one parents caring enough to think about bullying. Parents should really think about such things.
I really enjoyed this one. I could see a different side to the husband. And the wifes parents are really open and accepting for Korean parents, towards their daughter marrying a foreigner.
Foreigners need to stop generalising about Asians. Im asian, my cousin married a German. You guys probably imagine that we're like the evil in-laws to foreigners. Yes they prefer when children marry someone of our own community. Eg, we have many tribes and many villages within our own tribe and they would prefer if we marry someone from our own tribe and village because within own village, they know most of the families are closely tied since they grew up together so in times of need we look out for each other, we also have the same culture, traditions and common dialogue making it easier to mingle and understand each other and get along. These reasons are why they prefer people from own community. Not because they don't like foreigners. So they will try to pursue their children once but if their children decides and marries someone else they will accept it. But since these generation is becoming more mingled, there are many mixed marriages here and alot of youngsters don't care about such stuffs now.
@@atin4353 Not only Asia, but many societies are like this. Although living in Korea, you'll find older Korean parents, prefer their children marry other Koreans. I was lucky that my in-laws were very accepting of me, and I'm the first foreigner to marry into my wife's Korean family. I'm also Māori, so our customs are very similar. But as Korea is becoming more global, you're starting to see more international marriages and older Koreans become more accepting of it.
@@atin4353 exactly!!
@@kiwikorean that's why I gave the reasons why parents generally prefer people from their own community. But once the children marries, they will accept it, unless the foreigner is disrespectful to them, their culture and ways of life. This generalization of not being accepting is exaggerated and twisted.
@@atin4353 as I said, this is for most cultures, not just Asian. Different cultures prefer that their children marry with their own, it's nothing unique in society.
My dad used to say the same thing when I was her age, that I won’t marry or date until 40, but at 16 he told me I could date. If the girl isn’t troublesome and nice I’m sure he will trust her to marry. He’s just says that now because she’s a baby
Even if she isn’t nice or troublesome she will might still do it lol
@@ilikebread7052 True, it is worse if you say you wont let
Wtf like he owns her daughter i HOPE he'll trust her lmao
My dad used to tell me that I'm not allowed date until I'm 30, yet now that I'm in my 20s he's been hinting that I should grow out my hair, "be more ladylike", and start looking if I'm planning on getting married. Parents are crazy lol
@@toohottohandle0_0 lmao he's starting to freak out that you're gay, that serves him right
I love how the parents are so accepting. They both seem really nice. I can see why the husband was nervous at first, since it is well known that a decent amount of East Asian parents aren't too accepting of their children marrying foreigners.
Foreigners come in all shapes, sizes and colors, you can't generalize all, they might accept 1 foreigner but not the next. And also it's well known that a decent amount of non-East Asians are racist towards East-Asians, so parents have to protect their own.
@@Cxs1a3 Korea, China, and Japan have the same roots, and most people think that they are superior to Southeast Asians, blacks, and Latins.
@@Cxs1a3 There are conflicts, but when the four countries become a community like North Korea, everyone will succumb.
@@Moon.J.I In Asia, it's not about racial supremacy, it's about economics. They will respect any group that is economically successful, doesn't matter white or black. It's not the same as white supremacy, there are many differences.
@@Cxs1a3 I admit!! In the future, if South and North Korea are reunified and Korea, China, and Japan become like NATO, the history of mankind will change.
Daniel needs his own show. I love to see his interactions with his family. He is a sweet father and husband 😊
Qué riza, “Maradona” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We latinos love to give our friends nicknames 😬
He seems like a really nice guy
the dad seems so cool!!! i hope those kids know how lucky they are and cherish him always!
So far this has been the best dad I've seen in this show. Although he needs to work on treating his son better.
If I ever become a mother, I will also tell my kids not to get married before 30. They can date in their 20s but marriage is not something you do just because you want. It's a huge commitment in which people need to be mature enough and have financial stability to make it work.
30 isn't a bad age. by then you are emotionally, mentally, spiritually and financially mature. Less likely to make mistakes on stupid guys that only want to use you. Not a bad idea
for sure he's joking to make it more funny 😂 I liked him
Oh i am so proud to this man(husband). He is such a jolly peron.🤩😄👏🏻 He knows how to be socialize and to make a good relationship with people around him especially to his in-laws.👍🏻😉
I CAN SEE MYSELF TO HIM. I am also a FOREIGNER married with a Korean. YES, MY WIFE IS KOREAN. I have blessed with nice and respectful parents-in-laws. I wish I could also share my lifestory being a husband of a Korean wife living here in SouthKorea🇰🇷
If you want grandchildren, let your children date before they’re 30 lol. Only gets harder as you get older. I know from experience lol 😬
Plus as you get older, you want to make sure your kids aren’t lonely and always have someone there for them.
Y’all do realize people say this but don’t actually mean it
fathers always say things they don’t mean, i highly doubt he will prevent his daughter to date before 30, my dad used to say these kind of things when i was younger and look, i’m almost 18 and he doesn’t refrain me from dating. fathers are just overprotective and that’s their way of coping
What a nice guy. I want a son in law like him too.
The editor is the best 😭❤️
lol many parents especially dads with daughters say they won’t let their daughters date until x age. it’s normally an exaggeration and just being overprotective.
I'm pretty sure he is just joking about his daughter, a los dad's do that in Latin America.
Why did they correct that guy on that expression?!?! He was correct. The correct phrasing is “LONG TIME, NO SEE” not Long Time, Long See… wtf? 😂
they were saying that she should say long time long see because they want to keep staying friends, it was a joke
These are true fathers in Italy😂😂 they protect their offsprings... especially if they are daughters .
Awe the dad said foreign treat theirs wife better than Korean husband.
He's probably never had a non-Korean friend in his life, so don't take him seriously
I haven’t watched the video yet, but the title is funny, because so far the comment sections have been split on defending and criticizing this dad, but he keeps looking worse and worse from these titles.
Mexican men are handsome and Korean men are handsome
Mexico is very diverse, unlike Korea, there people who look like a Mayan tribe person, and people who look exactly like a white European, you can't generalize.

The father in law seems to imply that he married early. I am surprised he thinks 28 was a young age to get married. At least now in western countries, 28 is considered a normal age to get married. And 35ish years ago when he got married it would of been normal to get married at an even younger age. Do Koreans usually get married at a lot older age?
Also! A lot of Koreans in recent years have been getting married in their mid to late thirties. Since during their 20s most focus on studying and finding a stable career. Since the job industry is really competitive there.
In western countries 28 is not normal.
At least not in Germany.
In Germany most ppl get married with 30 which makes totally sense bc at that time u have a (good) job and enough money to take care of a child
@@ahgavlive4517 I am from a western country and I think 28 is very normal. Maybe it varies by country.
@@ahgavlive4517 I'm from Spain and I have quite a lot of friends who got married at 25-26 so 28-30 I feel like is a little late, not late at all but not that young too
In Middle Eastern and in some South Asian cultures, 28 is considered old LMAO
Lmfao he really named him Maradona, Dad is a Latino man for sure
My dad said the same thing to me too
He looks a bit like actor Choi Taejoon
Long time long see 😂
My dad said that too, I'm 26 and no bf. but now when my cousin already have a child, she younger than me so I think my dad want me get married too, he want his grandchild. I sure he gonna keep waiting such for longer bcs me and my brother, we're not dating anyone now 😅
sameee im 26 and never dated. But tbh I don't really care at the moment. I'm too busy trying to become financially stable so I can move out. Once I'm living successfully on my own, then I'll think about maybe dating
So the friend “Maradona” is he Diego 😁
Let your kids date. If you wait till 30 nothing good will come out for your son/daughter.
Where is the husband from?
Daniel hablale en español a tus hijos por favor
Not ideal as some say it might be harder to give birth. Well.. i'm almost 30 my parents are polar opposite and desperate for me to get married instead but still can't find a bf :(

When you turn 18 you‘re already legal in almost every country so you can do and date whoever you want and parents have absolutely no right in telling you what you should do etc. i hate when parents are so obsessive and controlling it just makes you feel like you‘re in prison and you develop an extremely introverted and anxiety filled personality when your parents are TO overprotective. Literally what happened to me. I‘m 23 and I am still not allowed to do whatever I want and only moving out and earning my own money can give me entire freedom.
You know he is joking, right? 😅
Mexican parents jokes this way, they did this to my female cousin, now she is 27 and their parents want grandchildren specially her mom
He is joking but if you personally think you are being controlled then you can move out, live alone!! I know westerns are leaving their parents home early and work hard! You can also do it! If you think you are a grown up to make decisions then you are also at an age when you can live alone and be responsible for yourself!!
girl same im 22, every since i was 13 i felt like i lived in a prison and suffocated literally never did anything to cause to them to worry or not trust me! now I don’t have a social life and im so introverted it’s so hard to make friends.
Not a typical Mexican man. Most Mexican and Mexican Americans marry and date young age
All Mexican are Americans . America is a Continent not a country.
What's wrong with 30? I told my daughter she can't date until 50. Lol
@Blank it obviously a joke chill😭

There is Jewish subs but no arabic subs. why?
wow, so to be a good father, you have to give love to your children??? I would never have thought of that unless this guy had said something. and it's great he's gonna exert his will over his daughter until she's 30. She won't resent that at all.

Explain to these Asian dads how woman's biology works by age. It's not like suddenly "today I am 30 so I will have a husband and baby."
This is dad annoying when it comes to parenting im pretty sure his kids will be rebellious... what a joke telling your adult daughter at 18 u can't date haha good luck with that...
