Update Six is how the game should of released in a Beta state.. maybe by season 12 after a multiplayer update will be good for a full launch / re launch
Nope, not yet Beta, it has just gone from First Playable to Pre Alpha.

@@simeonyves5940 your comment makes no sense. They changed a design decision because people disliked it which has nothing to do with playability or an alpha state.
But i guess there are always 2 extremes people that defend something no matter what and people who hate something no matter what.

There's no way the devs can't see how bad those wheel animations are when the car is moving. Hopefully some graphical updates are coming soon.
turn off 2d wheels, that's going to fix your wheel issue
If you’re on console and can’t turn off 2D wheels, maybe put in the request on the Forza forums.
Still impossible to turn the car when choosing new wheels or body parts, unbelievable... Sometimes you cannot see what's gonna change...
That's a step in the right direction.
But they also should focus on the memory leak on PC, the blurry cars, the too bright tracks, the color changing wheels/ tyres etc.
Graphically there's still a long way to go.
not gonna lie, that performance part economy change is actually good, even just removing the level lock was good but they actually made it so you could technically use credits now. that's already awesome to hear
If they only removed the level requirements, there would've been a riot. It was both the level requirements and car points together that made the system unbearable to use.
Finally They fix the pit lane exit on Dayton in this update

Made a mistake I believe the Huracan LP610-4 is also a returning car for Update 6.
Yeah it’s recycled, but that means we probably get the lbwk kit back so it’s not too bad

We are slowly getting there, slowly but surely. Disgrace it was released in the state it was but we can't change the past so I'm looking forward to the future.
Let's hope they continue with these updates, this game has a lot of potential imo.

That’s the one thing that gives it away that it was not built from the ground up. Those tires are there and we don’t even have drag or drifting yet.
Why we have bodykits but No Spacers????
I don't know a whole lot about cars, but what are spacers?
@@justyouraveragegamer1782The disks that you put between the rim and the car so the tyres are more fitting to the wide chassis and not "hidden" too much inside.
You don't need spacers because you have the ability to widen your tires way more with wide body kit
@@Dan12gtThat's just wrong.. there is an insane amount of cars which absolutely need spacers to look good. I'm not just talking about cars with bodykits.

They need to put races with practice sessions in their own hopper and bring back the regular hoppers. I just want to race A class with a lobby that doesn’t disband after each race. I like to switch cars and a lot and race with folks who share the same passion. Right now the game just makes me feel isolated.

Yeah man that's basically what I want. The option to choose what hopper you want instead of the two worst ones as it was there e class and p class is shit lol I want the Inbetween hoppers and as you said the staying in that lobby with some familiar racers would be great.

In FH5 the unlock cars were recycled until the car pass ended, I’ve been holding out hope that the new cars will get better now that the FM8 car pass is over.
This update has given me a touch more hope for forza in the future. It still needs plenty of work, but it's definitely much better than on release
It's interesting that the Lexus RC F GT3 that is being released for this update is the 2020 version and not the 2016 version that is found within the files for Forza Motorsport 7.

Tracks need to be darker and a radar and spotter needed and cars still look blury.
I'm on series x so I don't know if there's a graphical difference between consoles/PC but I've never seen any of the cars look bad on my game ,only on RUclips videos,it could be a settings difference or something because for me the graphics have always looked quite realistic and not bland/outdated like some people's I see on videos
It would’ve been nice if it was like this at launch - Still not a great game compared to most older Motorsports. But it’s something, I guess…
Would love to hear about track days returning I enjoy just been able to come on and play in a chilled state and not having to deal with the bad drivers on the game it should matchmake with the safety rating and not the skill rating
It's a reasonable update but not enough to get me back playing. For that the penalty system when online racing needs drastic improvement.
Those are some really good changes.
I hope people like this guy are happy that FM is becoming like all the other games. We got no new track because they turned the car progression mechanic back to the way “it should be”, with yobbos having the ability to put 1000+HP into a car from the 1970s without doing anything to how the car controls all that power. Couple that with being able to buy Car Points with money and its back to how cars are upgraded in racing games for 20+years.
I'm back in the game for the last 4 weeks. I really happy with the changes, I just wish they put a really good carrot for me to chase for example. A multi month endurance race series that runs over 3 months. At the end have a really good car to enter another exclusive series. I can't believe they don't know what the audience wants after so many FM games. I also would like wheel only lobbies, the controller has too much advantage over the average wheel user. Again this is something that should have been implemented by now.
I always end up in last place since I use the wheel. It’s crazy how much better the car handles using a controller. It’s like a cheat code

I wonder why the Aston Martin Vantage 600 is not in Forza Horizon 5? I really do like that car. I also think it will be added into Forza Horizon 5 at some stage.

I remember in forza 5 when you entered the car in auto Vista mode it displayed the real time for your country then they took it out in 6 onwards I have to be honest though since they added the playlists in here and horizon I've kinda turned away. I'm a og gamer I'm 36 and a solo dad I don't have time for fomo crap. I now spend what little time I have to game playing minecraft
It is a good update but I really want to change car during the single player campaign, after a race you have to stick with that car until your finished with the series

You can still play the game that way. You don't have to buy parts with credits. So really everybody wins with this 👍

I'd like to see some rally cross ams dirt/snow track stuff added like Poliphony has done with GT7
the new lighting looks cool, just wish that we get some of the cars featured in motorsport games as it would be funny to test an f1 car around a street circuit
I think that daytonas pit lane exit was correct in motorsport 6, then in motorsport 7 they messed it up and now its back to the original (I could be wrong tho)

When is the update live guys? And yeah Forza need a lot more updates..It's terrible that they released this game in that state. No vote map. no vote kick player, no fixed hoppers like A and S class....and so on and on..
4:02 what does that even mean? I get frustrated with the drivatars in this game, seems like they exist to get in your way to let position 1 get away, once you finally push your way through you’re too far back to catch 1st place on shorter races, and you leave 3-24 in the dust while they fumble corners, brake on straights, swerve violently etc.

There's now a rubber band after 50% distance which slows up the rabbits at the front so you can catch them. Far from perfect, but better.
something im really missing in this game is a dyno chart for power upgrades. it now sometimes feels like im building in the dark since i often base parts of my build and tune on where in the rpm range i'd like more oompf. also the lack of car choices in the single player championship's is insanely irritating. 300 or so cars in the game and yet most of the championships only allow you to chose 3 or 4... I made the mistake of picking an r33 or r34 gtr in the jdm championship and i just had to abort it and pick a different car because the damnt thing just wouldn't rotate, and i wasn't able to fix that with parts/tuning until much later when i unlocked the required parts. so this is definitely a step forward!

I wish they added more options for the hopper online lobbies in different classes like just two to choose from for a while as it stands.. e class and p class this week and im like im sick of e class but p class is just a mess lol.. d- r class and all in-between is good. Most of my cars are in this range and id like to be able to use them online the days i get to play the game like other forzas..

Grind car levels or grind credits and get nothing then you reach level 50 with the same car. That about rivals? It is possible to play rivals with rental cars? 😊

I actually really like this new system - it keeps the 'car building' idea that makes the early game so enjoyable, but late-game players can still upgrade cars however they want for rivals, multiplayer etc.
Great update review. Don't forget, Forza is notorious for dropping support for these games after so many years. If there's cars you're wanting in your garage inventory, keep that in mind. At some point down the road, they won't be available for purchase.
Well, apart from FM7 where you can now buy every non- DLC car apart from the MGA. We don't yet know what happens at FH4 end of life or FH5 end of life because they haven't got there yet.
Great to see Turn 10 listening to the commentary and the updates are nice and hopefully help being some more players back to the game.
I know this is a update always game so to speak so it's kind of nice the game will hopefully not be forgotten about after 12 months. It definitely was not the best start but the game is far better than it was on release. I'm hoping this game takes a turn like SoT did where the developers listening to the commentary will bring users back and give it a good online world. I'm still hoping single player needs alot of work but good to see the updates happening. Looking forward to giving it a go later on

Definitely steps in the right direction. Despite a lot of things that still need addressed, I have been really enjoying Forza. I would like the ability to rotate the car when adding rims and bodykits. Speaking of bodykits, can I please have the option to put front lips/bumpers on the car without the red tow hook? Why they force that on you, I have no idea.

This game is still lacking the content needed to be considered a "new" Forza Motorsport. However, the addition of Nordschleife and now the fix to the horrendous "CARPG" system make this game somewhat playable now. In about 6 more updates, we should finally be able to say this is finally a stand-alone Forza game!
Still want the split screen back thats a major lost for me for the forza series i hope they also bring back the wheelspacers for better fitment and still some cars have bugs on them as the rx7 has still no hood when i select different options they disapear and the golf mk2 widebody still has the bleu frontbumper with no blinkers😂
I'd like to see improved wet/dry races. As it is now the track is full wets one minute then slicks the next lap. There is no middle ground I'd like to see a dry line form and please turn 10 bring back puddles

"In however many years this game took to make" bold of you to asume this was cobbled together in more than a year (Unless the time after launch counts).
I am glad they are listening, glad there is FINALLY a Toyota 86 in the game (I can't believe we got that before a 6 Cilinder Cayman) but nothing will make me forget the launch state of this game.
Now, if only the old ass car models would be updated finally. Oh and most of the car sounds need a huge overhaul too
I've definitely seen an improvement with the AI on turn one they no longer rear-end you and spin you out!

For me the biggest problem is rammers and the penalty system and they seem to have made the penalty system worse with this update , I mean how many times do we get rammed and get the penalty for somebody else’s bad driving ?
So basically after this many years of development and months of post-launch patches, the new game now looks exactly like forza motorsport 7, 6 and 5 (which was released over 10 years ago now)

When a car reaches level 50, instead of earning car points, it should earn credits per car level instead. I hate reaching lvl 50 in a car, it makes me feel using it a waste of my time due to no longer earning anything.

The game literally froze after trying to save a 9 min replay, crashed & now my XBOX X series has a bluish-very contrasted tint where you can barley see anything.. this is a month after the same thing happened when it froze but fried the backlight on my tv.. has anyone experienced this???
I’ve played endless hours of FH5, FM7, Battlefield and never had a problem.. this game has broke a 300 dollar tv and now probably the Xbox

I’m not surprised the prize cars r recycled content I wouldn’t expect new to Forza cars as prize cars to be added till after the car pass has finished which will at the end of April. Though depending how much stuff they still need to fix by then it may be a longer wait to get new to Forza cars
Solid update, I don't care about new cars at the moment. They fixed one of the biggest issues most people had with the game

If they just gave the game code to a discord server filled with generic coders and modders and they could probably pump out a better game by the end of of the month. I mean look at what the fiveM servers are like compared to the base game. Project homecoming alone fixes anything car related on that game and its got so many other aspects to it
