It feels like Lorcana's version of sideboarding is deciding which cards you put in your inkwell. Like this card isnt helpful in this matchup so its priority to ink over other cards.
No hate but the Flynn Rider analysis was pretty bad. If the card is bad at the beginning stages of the game, where your opponent will have their full hand, why do you even want to rush into it turn 2? This is either a late game card for when hands are naturally empty, or to combine with discard. Still bad but this wasn't even mentioned.
There are lines where you shift it on turn 2 to sing a song that makes the opp discarding cards or to impact the board state in some way. There are uses for him in the early game, but didn't go too deep into it to save time.
From the little I've seen of Lorcana it seems to me the game is still quite slow paced and frequently gets to topdeck wars so I suppose in such a format a card like Lucky Dime, mana sink that provides inevitability despite being kinda slow, would be at its best. I feel like it's not a card that'll stand the test of time though. Should have asked how many turns the average game goes. :P
Flynn is in fact a good card. Hence why the winner of Chicago played 3 copies. The reason being that the best deck in the format can discard 1-2 cards EVERY time you play a Floodborn... Which Flynn is.... Super Goof is a mediocre card that has not seen wide use since the first few weeks of set 4. The only deck that is playing it is Amber/Ruby, which is at best a tier 2 deck.
Yeah this video feels like someone who has dabbled a little in Lorcana trying to host it, no offense but you need stronger players in Lorcana listing the value of cards. Super Goof was super hyped when spoiled and quickly cut from every deck because in practice it was not as good as expected.
Can you do: Guess three YugiOh Archetypes and the goal is to tell which of these counters the other ones. It would have to be RockPaperScissors Syle, my suggestion would be Kashtira counters Tearlaments. Tearlaments counters (think of something i dont know that counters Kashtira). I couldn't think of a third part to the two mentioned.
This game looks sick, way easier to understand than Vanguard because of how similar it is to Magic. It's so similar that im surprised that they are even allowed to clone it that much lol
@@TheOneJameYT I got another game recommendation for you: Through the Ages. It's a board game that's like Civ and has cards. Would be interesting for you to guess how good different cards are.
Anton wants to know what's the most you've ever lost on a coin toss? I wasn't sure about lucky dime either I was thinking yeah get to 9 to pop it immediately but IDK how easy it is to get to 9 in Lorcana.
Is someone who knows almost nothing about this game, the only reason I suspected Lucky Dime was good was because the game is so new. Eventually, the power creep will set in and item removal will become more consistent and powerful, and it'll fall behind. Whereas I suspect that Goofy card will stay relevant for a lot longer. This is all totally just a guess though. A better version of the Goofy card might drop in the next set and he'll be power crept immediately for all I know 😅
Card advantage is so important in lorcana. If something draws cards, it’s probably good. Unlike Pokémon where card advantage is almost non existent lol
if my opponent has three benched pokemon and ten cards in hand to my 2 benched and 4 cards in hand, they have access to seven more game pieces than I do. This is what ‘card advantage’ is. hope this has been helpful!
@@domotoroOfficial obviously I know what card advantage in Pokémon is. But it’s much less significant than almost any other card game. So many times where you have like 10 cards in hand, and that 10 card hand doesn’t make a much of a difference as opposed to a 5 card hand.
Funny that even mentioning a Disney character's name warrants the fear of the mousehouses' legal team looking for you. Appreciate the video by the way, but please tell your friend his audio is absolutely awful to listen to.
I havent played the game nor finished the video yet but i already know donald duck is gonna be quacked.
Pinned 🤣🤣🤣

That's a good point, techy or meta-dependant cards are never wasted if they are inkable.
This was one of the best episodes you’ve done in a long time. Really enjoyed your analysis
Thanks!! Really appreciate hearing this

I want the big fat Villain from the newest Puss in Boots film in Lorcana.
Dreamworks, sadly
His name is Jack Horner, I swear. Put some respect on him.
LET'S GOOOO LORCANA FINALLY.
IT'S HERE
Didn't even know that a Disney card game existed. Are they available in Europe? I never saw them anywhere before.
I’m not sure!

Can't be slower than yugioh %)
As a kid I liked the Super Goof comics.
James seemed like he'd never seen him before so I wonder if they were a thing in the States or just Europe now.
Flynn Rider is a 3 of in one of the top meta decks in set 4, calling it bad is pretty short sighted.

Floowandereeze counters Kashtira I think?

I thought the same thing lol

For the record, you got four and a half points in my book ; )
I like your book!
Tell Michael to come back to yugioh and stop being a troll
lmao he's retired
lol he’s always retired but I’m glad to see he’s doing well haven’t seen him in years.

Will do!
