Motive Engineering - Machining of 60 Clamps for Subsea Guide Frame

The Motive Engineering team recently completed machining of 60 clamps for a key client. The refurbished clamps will be retrofitted to a subsea guide frame to help reinforce the structure.
The video shows one of the clamps during the process, removing a 16mm in the bore on the Vertical Turret Lathe before being scalloped on the Borer for a smooth finish prior to drilling the bolting holes.
This project is a great example of the volume fabrication and machining capabilities undertaken at our facility, delivering refurbishment services to help our clients maximise their asset lifetimes.
