"You gave me Life, and they (adopted parents) gave me A Life"....a lovely way to put it. As an adoptee (who met her birthmom before she died), I always cry at these moments. Thank you.
ML R I always cry at these moments too but I’m not adopted and had great parents. I seem to burst into tears faster for happy endings than I do for sad ones. Although sad ones stay on my mind longer.
I am glad that you got to meet your birth mom before she passed.
Kristen Chenoweth, very interesting story. I come from the same sort of situation. I was adopted as a baby. My biological mom was 16. My adopted parents were older and well established. Adopted mom a nurse. Adopted father an ordained minister. I definitely don’t have the gifts you do of singing, but when I met my biological mother it explained so much. She’s my identical twin only 16 years older. She said the same thing, can you forgive me, are you angry with me. The answer is I am absolutely not angry, I couldn’t have asked for a better life. I was terrible sick as a child, so having a mother as a nurse was beneficial. I was absolutely spoiled on birthdays and Christmas. Had a huge extended family. Personally I believe it was designed by God.

This is one of the most heart warming, sweetest and thoughtful interviews I've ever had the pleasure to view. Kristin Chenoweth is the most precious individual to exist. I am such a fan it's ridiculous. I'm always looking for her in Broadway plays and music halls and one day... One day...I will have tickets to see her.

I'm certain Kristin wouldn't remember me but my family lived in Broken Arrow, OK for the year I happened to be in the sixth grade. Kristin was in my class. I wore a Christian themed t-shirt to school one day and she noticed it. At the end of the year, she told me to keep the faith and I would go far in life. I never forgot her words to me. Funny how little things/words like that stick with you for life.
I'm just happy for Kristin all around and I loved seeing her new Hallmark movie with Scott Wolf. Just the best. Love you too Katie! xo
I had the privilege of seeing and hearing Kristin perform at my local theatre years ago, and she was fantastic!
She is awesome with the Mormon Choir! Wow Awesome. Ive never followed her but now I will. You just cants stop watching and listening to her throughout the PBS Program.

I don't believe she was on bewitched.
We finally met our daughter's birth father last year. We thanked him for making such a brave and wonderful(for us) decision 35 years ago! His brothers and mom are now our family as well. In fact he never had more children, and he asked her to stand up with him this fall when he got married. We were invited too of course because "our" 4 year old granddaughter was the flower girl!
Thank God for mother’s that give life!

What is not to love about Kristin Chenoweth?
There’s usually a sad storyline with Adoption. However, in Kristin’s case, her birth mother was strong enough to know she couldn’t take care of her but also knew it’s not her place to not give her life.

When she was in high school, Kristin was on the dance team. She made her schools Pom Squad yes that’s what you call a dance team she made the dance team she told me I was a dancer growing Yes, her parents aren’t her real parents. She was adopted as a baby she obviously got her musical talent from her real parents her biological parents.

I am so triggered with how Katie said Broken Arrow. Being from Tulsa, Oklahoma and knowing the Broken Arrow area this triggered me so much.
We are supposed to love all fellow man or women or and all our neighbors. If so wrong to love or respect someone's choices or who they truly are on the inside. Well not me. If the bible judges us for being loving, and compationit well let God judge me, not my fellow mankind. I support you all the way. 🇨🇦👍❤️

Did her real mom sing or not, or her bio dad? We want to know. USUALLY it is inherited, right? Or, is there anyone you all know where NO relatives could carry a tune in a bucket but the BLOOD kid knocked your socks off with a voice? I doubt it!

*Linda F* Well, I was the only one among my siblings who could sing harmony. Blood kin we were absolutely, but the others had tin ears. I couldn't have loved them more than I did, but it would have been _sooooooo_ much fun if we could have sung together as children, like the Lennon Sisters (or just a rinky-dink group of street corner doo-wop singers).
