That last sequence starting with the "let...him...live...bring... him home..." needs to be performed in the show with as much emotion as Kristin had here. It would really make the point of the song land so much better with the audience which is Valjean begging God to spare Marius' life for Cosette. The audience would really get it if they would perform it just like this, taking the pregnant pauses to let it really sink in, tearing up, maybe letting the voice crack a little bit...damn, that'd hit hard.
This is amazing, and Kristin is one of the most beautiful human beings ever. I have never seen a female sing this song before, and it definitely did it justice. I love this song so much.
