#DJI #RobomasterS1
This DJI Robomaster S1 build video is sponsored by DJI. In this video I'll be building the Robomaster S1 which is an educational robot inspired by the DJI Robomaster Competition. This was an interesting build to do and I ended up with a robot that I can control using the DJI app on my smart phone. I was also able to use a separate app to connect a PS4 controller to the Robomaster S1 so I could control it that way. This was a super fun build and I highly recommend it!

Yes, would be nice! Variety is always good.
Builds are fun! Some old console repairs would be fun too!
Yes please ! Thanks
Pls turn a ps4 or xbox into a pc by placing pc components into the shell of the console
I would love more companies to sponsor you with their gizmos and products, so yes. Hopefully this one works out well for you.
Saw it, thought "ohh that looks nifty!" ..clicked the link, saw the price and died.
hahaha...it's a little spendy but it's also super cool.
I was expecting a high price point I may get one used
Bought one for me and one for my nephew. The build was fun. Battling was better. He's learning to program on it.
Well worth it mine was a preorder love it
@@dewroc66 I'm sure it is if you have the money and there's nothing wrong with that but for me that amount is 3 months food & bills. just can't justify it sadly.
for anyone else i'd say 'boo sellout' but it's just so therapeutic watching you build stuff, gj
You should build your own robot using broken controllers. Like rumble motors.
Ha, ha...that would be cool!
Now that looks like a cool and sturdy robot. Great build. Love how they choose for a different kind of steering instead of just turning the front wheels. I bet you can do great battles with others in some sort of obstacle arena. Good stuff Steve. Sure it is not cheap but it looks like quality product so in my opinion it is worth it.
I really wanna try this but jeez look at that price
It's spendy that's for sure, but there is so much you can do with it.
Hell, in the RC hobby world for all the stuff this thing does, it's a steal!
It's stupid expensive. I'll stick with my RC10.
Something tells me, this guy could make watching somebody put together a Lego truck fascinating.
You take tronics to next level
This was a nice change. Love your repair videos but could definitely get into these videos every now and then.
Awesome i would like more build videos
The next generation of Fix It Felix Jr.
You should let DJI teach you how to repair/ fault check DJI drones! im not sure they would since i guess thier CS likes to send you a bill for new things rather then fixing them but would actually be nice not to many that do proper video repairs on thier drone products. love to watch your videos helped me to solder and desolder and do cleaner electrical work on my drones atleast :)
One step closer to skynet domination...
Joking. Great build!!
Ha, ha...thanks!
Would just like to say I got a Sony-refurbished PS4 PRO from Best Buy after seeing your video on it and am very glad I did. Saved $50 and it looks brand new and works perfectly. Thank you. 😁
I love this one, you should do Lego Technics sets too
LOVE those!
Tronics u should ask dji to send all there broken drones or u should buy a phantom lot and rebuild them
You make everything look so easy but when I try it I feel like a complete dumbass.
Ha, ha...you'd do fine with something like this. They make it pretty straightforward.
@@Tronicsfix I do like the gliding robotic controls looks like it's on ice.
I bought the DJi robomaster s1 a couple of weeks ago and assembled it. I had to pay for mine LOL! But seriously the price isnt too bad and I really like it. I like the 1080p camera. It doesn't have to be 4K camera. I am getting good visuals with the 1080p camera. Wasn't too bad to assembled and yes I followed the instructions as well, usually I don't. LOL! I also have a hand gesture remote RC car (another name brand) that use these same style wheels which I like as well. Seems to me these style wheels are becoming more popular. I have some ideas I would like to use these style wheels in some of up coming projects. Nice video.
You should fix car stereos. I would love that video
U should do a series where ur subscribers send broken things to you and you try to fix them
Dude you are awesome
No, YOU'RE awesome!
NO, YOU'RE AWESOME AWESOME
Great video! Ouch at the cost of that robot - £499 in the UK!
Love this video bro this is awesome 😀😃
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@Tronicsfix uhm excuse me sir I always wanted a PS4 but I can't afford one can u give me one sir
God bless you sir for your kindness to me 😭😭😔😔🙏🙏
Why the dislikes? This man has to pay his bills... you don't have to watch the video. You're not a true fan if you don't allow him to have sponsors to pay his damn bills.
It looks like the metal slug super vehicle 😁😁😁
Thanks for getting me through work with your calming fixing videos. I forget I can hardly breathe in this mask.
You are the best electronic RUclipsr I know, you helped me repair my PS4 with the disk drive video!!! Can you make a video about the PS4 camera, I don’t know how to replace the cable connector, it broke of. It’s on the old one
Hey thanks! I'll look into the camera video.
8:51 Not sure if it matters, but the proper wheel orientation is molded into the plastic at each wheel section between the screw holes. (PS: yours are not right :p )
Nick Anon haha rite.
Hell yeah! Something robotic I guess.
Glad you enjoyed this one!
That is bad ass! I was really born at the wrong time! Yeah, I can get one for myself but it's more fun to play against others!
I wish I would have had another one here to play against! That looks super fun.
@@Tronicsfix I agree. After seeing the cost, it wouldn't have mattered when I was born! My parents would have laughed and told me to go outside and play with a stick! It does have some pretty nice features! If I had had this as a youth I would have been trying to integrate it with my Transformers!
That robot is awsome
Ya, it's a cool one!
Great vid keep on working hard and hope you grow more
+79k subs in the last month so hopefully I can keep bringing value to everyone!
Try a traxxas xmaxx or any traxxas
Awesome. Wow. I really like it. Looks very expensive?
Great Video! Keep This Up👍
Thank you! If my audience enjoys watching these I may do more builds.
Coolest gadget ever😍
Another great video makes a nice change from fixing consoles to building robots :)
It was a nice change!
Yes do more dji stuff.
Is giving a heart to almost every comment hard?
No...I generally stick around for an hour or so after my video goes live and the comments I receive during that time are almost always really good. I enjoy interacting with my followers.
@@Tronicsfix Ah, gotcha
Good job on these projects!
He can "Heart All"
@@Tronicsfix when someone ask you if something is hard you have to answer "no, actually super easy barely an inconvenience" trust me is funnier :V
Great video
I gave every video of yours a thumbs up! Please don't forget that when you're overtaking earth with your toy mech army! :)
Great video! Also very "unintentional asmr" for me 😂
Cool! Glad you enjoyed it.
@@Tronicsfix Board repair ASMR series!!!!!! pleeeeeeease
Cool to see what your studio looks like through the robot --- do a studio video some time.
that thing is sick! Imagine that tech life size, oh man would be scary!
I really enjoyed the build thank you for the awesome content
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for commenting.
What about a couple soldering tutorials? I feel like you could give out real simple explanations and very logical while doing perfect demonstrations
Anyway, great job!
now strap a Desert Eagle on it. Put a Claymore on your Roomba. Program Alexa to deploy them in a case of burglary or tresspassing. Protect your home and life. Be safe.
Really love your vids Tronics, learning from you really is giving me something to be passionate about!
So glad my videos are helping! Love hearing stuff like this.
Hi I need to know how to connect a power supply to the motherboard that got pulled out and wire it also can you please explain Thank you
Can the XB1 controllers be used as well?
Haven’t played PS since the PS2. And I like the layout of the XB triggers more.
I would think they could.
Have you considered dipping your toes into fixing any of the new vr headsets?
How do I do this PS4 mod on iPhone?
Really cool videos btw.
Great video keep up the good work
Hey thanks! That's a legit name
Thanks
Oh man I love the modularity on this thing. Programming in Python sounds like fun too. 550 is unfortunately just too much for me at this point, so i'll wait for a second generation too come down in price..
The price tag sucks but it's a super cool robot!
Agree on pricing. Looks cool but also looks like it would only be advantageous if you play with another robot or a league.
Great Video! thats really cool
Lots of installation today
I know about the quad copters from DJI first time seeing this cool car. Nice hardwood floors and was reflection of a Golden Labrador under the door?
Yes, it was cool playing with another of their products. That would have been the reflection of a cat!
So awesome
Cool idea.
Nice 👍
can we use it on nitendo switch pro controller or xbox
this is AWESOME
Nice job man ur so cool I give u all my support
Hey thanks!
Wow, very cool build 😀👍
I love this kind of channel, I can learn how to fix things and build things. It's nice how author tries to record good videos and if something went wrong stays positive! Cheers!
great video! as a repair guy myself , i enjoy watching someone else repair stuff for once. :)
It's always great to have repair guys watching my vids! Keep up the good work.
That looks cool
It's a really fun product.
Definitely Very Cool, and Appreciate the video!!
I wish I could amount to the intelligence of tonics fix.😔
Ha, ha...that wouldn't take much!
@@Tronicsfix lmao
Love you man you’re amazing 👌🏼♥️
Hey thanks!
that is so cool great video as always man
Would you consider trying to repair retro / older game consoles that are broken ?
nice robo
In the plug housing under the transparent door what dose the red plug port do it was the only that was not used could it be for an attachment to add to it in the future
Could you please do a multimeter tutorial? I don’t understand where to put the leads in various situations.
it is very interesting with that window so you can see the cables and try what happens when you disconect one :) and the cables like for the motors are the same? Dont reverse it . XD left-right right-left . It will be very hard to controll it and still thinking about this.
It's cool that they made a window there.
TronixFix: buys several iPhone X s for video recording.
Also TronixFix: uses a Pixel 1 as the main phone.
Anyone else go bruh thats cool at 13:11
Love the wheels on this robot!
Hello Buddy I’m Having Some Problems With My Sprint Button On My ps4 Controller I Recently Pulled It Apart And Blew On Everything And It Fixed But It Caused My Character To Slowly Walk Forward Without Me Touching The Controller And Now The Sprint Analog Stick Doesnt Want To WORK And I Don’t Want To a Buy A New Controller
New to your channel
Your a clever guy 👍👍
Welcome to my channel!
Reminds me of the EOD bot from Battlefield 4.. 😁
Love your vids. Have a question for you tho if you don’t mind. You see my PS4 slim disk drive may or may not have a problem. What I mean is sometimes it doesn’t read disc’s, but when I turn it so it stands vertical it does read the disc. Should o be worried about this kind of weird console behaviour?
maybe you should build a battlebot for robot wars or battlebots
Love u man continue😁
Hey thanks man!
Good afternoon, I would like to know the name of the app that connects to the P4 controller and if it is compatible with the iPhone???
is it possible to do it on IOS device? What is the app called (spell?)
Hey Steve any suggestion on how to fix the update the broke the ps4 slim disk drive
You never did a step by step of the octopus buttons. You had it all done. Where is the right trigger at?
Waiting for the Glock attachment mod
Can you do repairs forps4 controllers I have 3 that are messed up by but in perfect condition and trying to.see how to fix them
ill say it again...you are the guy i wanted to be growing up...super cool video but that price....Ughhhhhhh
How to two way sound work plz help me
So want, kinda disappointed that you don't get to build the blaster. Also wish you had shown the blaster in action... how could it not have come with beads?
Wish they would have sent that with it too!
Hello I bought a Refurbished vr headset for PlayStation from GameStop and wanted to know is it was a worth to buy
I need help to fix my ps4 it just popped and has not turned back on
I have a PS4 with a standard overheating problem I cleaned it enough where stop overheating but I don't want to take it all apart because I'm scared I would lose a piece
You should try repairing desktop pc's!
I've heard that one from others too.
@@Tronicsfix fastest reply i have ever seen from a creator! Nice work!
Yay, haven’t watched the video but it will probably be good, also can you do Xbox one s all digital edition repairs
I probably won't do many (if any) of those since they're basically exactly the same as the regular S just without the disc drive.
Help me for two way sound🔊 fuction o the app
Hi I love all ur content, I have been always curious about tech, would u recommend me some web to learn this kind of stuffs? repair and build electronic devices. Thanks, keep doing awesome as always :)
Greetings from Nicaragua.
