Yes it is. Remembering all the parts and screws (with differnet shape) by fixing a lot and knowing where to go by muscle memory. I can partially do it too but the different screws part will screw me up.

@@Tronicsfix i was just searching for that if anyone noticed, if not i will write a comment. That was the best blind challenge that ive ever seen, i laughted on some parts of it too :) like when you were trying if the APU is clean and if it does not have the pieces of old Thermal paste on it.. Think About it, if that olthermal paste was still liquid and if you didnt cleaned all of it or if you accidently put the new thermal paste on your fingers :) , you know what, when you will be checking it at the end and the whole PS4 will be covered in thermal Paste :). What will the next video be about?
I was watching another channel that repairs consoles and whatnot, and I have to say, this guy is much more efficient and definitely knows what he's doing. Even with a blindfold on!
Being interested in videos like yours and into all kinds of electronics, you help inspire me to go to college for a electrical engineering bachelor degree.
I am impressed, but not surprised that you accomplished this. My dad was an Amateur Radio operator and all-around electronics genius that worked on his own equipment, except I had to read the schematics for him of course because he was totally, 100% blind. The only mishap that he ever had was he got hold of a high voltage rectifier one time and it knocked him on his butt. Thanks for the video!
Well, you earned my respect, you truly are a master. I think I'm gonna have to try this when I'm repairing an iPhone, for example replacing a battery. Awesome video!
LéNoob More concretely, you need a Class D fire extinguisher, because the regular ABC powder or CO2 extinguishers won’t be any good on a lithium fire. You can also use sand if you don’t have any. However, it’s better to just throw the battery to a fireproof surface, run away and let it burn if possible.
when you were putting the motherboard on wrong i kept saying 'stevestevestevenonono' lul. that's mighty impressive i couldn't do that even in 5 hours! much love
Wow. Another great video, the fact that you do this so organized and also can make your usual jokes like ,,this is the right amount of thermal paste,, let this video speak for your profession 😊👍
Bro, as a married man myself, that was just too funny to see your wife mess with the screwdriver like that and to top it off you did it to yourself to.
I'm watching this with the CPU is at 90% or higher challenge. There was a little stuttering early on, but other than that it played good. Oh and the wife was hilarious. I was dying!!
could u make a video commenting what u should have done part by part and the mistakes u see ur self doing? also would be great hearing ur wife laughing (nice assistant xD).
Hopefully you see this and can reply! I bought a second hand ps4 from a friend and its the original launch ps4. Everything worked perfectly except from the fact that it was very, very loud. I'd cleaned the fan multiple times and it made no difference. I saw threads online about cleaning of the heat sink. So I went to one of your videos and followed your instructions on taking apart the ps4. When i got to the motherboard it was really hard to access because the thermal pads were stuck and I had to pull really hard to free the metal plate above the motherboard. Then I got to the thermal paste the motherboard and the metal player underneath were stuck together because of the paste. The motherboard was almost immovable. In all the videos I watched the motherboard was easy to take out but mine I had to pull really hard for the thermal paste to release. I then proceeded to clean the heatsink and the fan. I didnt replace the thermal paste even tho there was barely any left and it was crusty and hard. I put everything back together and now when I turn it on the fan goes full blast, it gives me 3 beeps and the red light of death. Do I need to replace the thermal paste or is it a lost cause? Thanks for responding
You left one screw while blindfolded, while I left 3 (tiny silver) screws, and I was using a guide to help me. And to this day I have no idea where they go
Yay you’re back, I missed you last week, also I was watching the Xbox repair challenge videos, and you said you would make a video about how to repair the power on then off problem on the one s, just curious but great video
That blindfold has on the inside a mini screen, he was seeing a video on how to do it. Jokes aside, this was a pretty cool video, if I needed to call a technician, I'd call him.
U seem to be a nice guy.... please can u help me out....i just bought a brand new PS4 pro and till now i have played 12 games on it, and every game has fps drops....and i do not update my games...i do not have a fast internet....so what could be the problem...can it be a hardware problem, or just a software problem..just give me a wide idea what it could be...what type of hardware problems can cause fps drops on a brand new PS4 pro
Hey so ive been watching your videos since the nintendo switch repair ones and ive actually used your videos to help me repair electronics and its made me realize that I really want to get into fixing electronics. Do you have any suggestions on things I should get to help me learn how to solder and fix things like this?
I decided to change it up with this week's video. What do you think?
TronicsFix 😂 I love it
What i like about your videos is its nature without effect that give it thump up👍👍
Sure!
saw it on my recommended had to see if it was true Better than any other repairs I've seen

If this man can do this blindfully he is in my opinion the best electronics repair man I have ever seen. XD
He can repair a PS4 blind folded quicker then I can redeem a PSN code 😂

Imagine sending your console in for repairs and the guy did it blind folded. Hahaha
Yes!!!! You did your utmost. Fixing without seeing the process is of utmost importance. It was fantastic dear Steve.
U can now “officially” say to anyone that doubts your repairs that u can do the repairs blind!

That would be a fun video! Good luck!
It’s not a bad idea, but battery replacement blindfolded is dangerous. Make sure you have a fire extinguisher nearby
