    Tractor “arms” salesman. 🔥

Bought a new L3302 HST anniversary edition.
The seat is super comfortable and elimination of the clutch pedal and relocation of the brake pedal was a major improvement! Kubota even addressed the issue of hitting your knee on the light switch when you turned yourself around in the seat by pointing it upwards!
Fantastic machine in every way........ until you have to use that f#_#ing heel/toe monstrosity of a lousy excuse for a throttle pedal!
It's up way too high off the floor board and the two pressure points for your heel and toe are separated by about 1/2 a mile with a 12 foot valley between them and you cannot rest your foot comfortably on that pedal, you have to pick up and move your foot constantly when working back and forth with the tractor.
    Ergonomics? Lol.
It would've been much more ergonomic by simply having separate forward and reverse pedals.
Kubota seems to respond well to customers input. I'm hoping they'll come out with an upgrade for this mistake, in the interim, I'm going to be modifying my pedal.

If the L02s had been on the market last year I would have got one of those instead of my beloved LX.

Will that suspension seat fit on an 01 series? Can your dealer order one if so?

Unfortunately it will not work without some serious modification. The mounting brackets and mounting platform for the 01 vs the 02 series are completely different. Even the seatbelt brackets are different so you would need to change all parts and re drill holes etc. It is a good thought and we wish it was the case to retro fit it!

I don't know about this dealer making the video but what I have been seeing is Kubota dealers asking MSRP price for these.

Thanks Kubota for dumping 139.oo$ into the "02" series to bring it into the 21st century. No more buck-board seat (38.oo$) [ your cost] , right side grab handle (7.oo$), floor mat (22.oo$), LIVE PTO((WOW)) [72.oo$] saving the clutch pedal that "feel-off". The LED lights are Cheaper ( real world) to make than bulbs & fixtures. Now "IF" the "rickshaw" Stearing linkages gets fixed the machine would be almost a good competitor to the 8 other brands out there. I do have a Kubota MX5200 with a buck-board seat with7/8" of travel too & no floor mat. Thank you Sir for ALL these new enlightenments. Maybe, just maybe another Kubota some day.

Who would you recommend instead, that is the same or less money? Not a lot of competition out there for that money, in the 30 horse range it seems like.

@@zacksalmon65 My Friend, let me "Enlighten"you. The Massey-Ferguson 1800e series HAS it ALL! The 1825e ( non -filtered) with 1.5 liters of "old school"25 HP. The 1835e & 1840e 's come turbine-charged with 1.83 liters of "sofisticated' quiet,& very fuel efficient power under the hood. All modes come with a THREE RANGE hydrostatic trany, or an 8×8 synchronised HEAVY DUTY "REAL' TRANSMISSION. Ground level fueling(rare), good seat, robust front axle,LIVE PTO 's,high output hydraulic systems, good lightning ( don't fall for LED mumboJUMBO=el-cheepo ),big FUEL filters,an available first class loader with amplifying bucket-linkage assembly's,and the BEST paint job you have ever seen.
My next little tractor WILL BE another Massey-Ferguson ( a 1835E with shuttle shift with backhoe). It will be #3 of the Massey-Ferguson's of the fleet, there is a kubogy MX5200 TLB (MY first one before l knew better, its relable&just ok). With the Massey-Ferguson 's afford mentioned price is 21,000.°°-25,000.°° $ ,with tractor & loader.
The "only" close contenders are the Branson 1525--1540 tractors( but rare). The Kioti CK3510SE GEAR DRIVE would be my third choice @ 26.000$ but the rear-end looks kind of "flimsey'. The Tym's & Rks are ok but have flimsy rear ends also. The "best" compact tractor " 35-55hp may be the Yanmar- but dealers are rare & few in between. Just stay away from the "orange & green" tractors unless you want a "Big" tractor ( 70 horsepower & up).

@@donaldstrishock3923 The 1825 might be a decent tractor but 25hp correlates to like 19hp at the PTO. That is substantially less than the 3302, and really drops it out of comparison range. The 25hp Bransons are the same as the new Bad Boy lineup, bit again, 25hp and a 2200 pound tractor drops it out of usable range for me. I have been just burying myself with forum reading and video over the last couple weeks, so I do appreciate the input! I personally haven't found anyone around me running one of the masseys, though I do have a dealer really close!

@@zacksalmon65 Get the 1835e or 1840e Massey-Ferguson for more PTO HORSE POWER. Or buy the tractor that the dealership is closest to you, that way when you drag it back & forth for warranty work & service it doesent take too long.

    Still no standard 3rd function.

    • @kubotaoflynchburg
      @kubotaoflynchburg  Год назад

Unfortunately not, Kubota leaves that up to the dealer to install. It helps keep the price down for those that might not utilize the 3rd function feature.
