Bill Nye The Science Guy drove a white 93 Accord wagon when he had his TV series, it was featured in several episodes. He bought it to haul all of his gear around since they didn’t have a wardrobe department or props crew with trucks initially. Also, he opted for the manual over the automatic since it was more efficient.

That’s very cool info, do you know of any episodes that feature the wagon he had? I’m the owner of the wagon in this video, and I grew up watching Bill Nye. Would be awesome to find some videos of him rolling around in one of these

Love it! Never see any of these accord wagons out and about anymore. I have a CE1 5th Gen Wagon personally. My first Honda and I LOVE it. Like you said they’re not fast or awe inspiring by the numbers but the driving feel is amazing. And they really just don’t stop going. Mines currently waiting for an engine to replace her 300 thousand mile F22b2 non vTEC along with a Manual swap and I can’t wait to get it back on the road. Anyways. Love the video and love seeing these cars get some appreciation.

A long time ago, in my early childhood days, my mom had a 1996 Accord sedan DX 25th Anniversary Edition, openly options were A/C and cruise control. Standard was an automatic transmission , manual windows, radio. It was a cheap and basic from best I remember.

I learnt how to drive with this generation of Accord (of course, the wagon) in 2016/2017. It was a red exterior, beige cloth interior with an automatic transmission. The driving school that owned the car has since sold it. An uncle of mine also owned one (sedan, teal exterior and beige cloth interior). It was also an automatic. Unfortunately, the oldest Accords you'll find in my area are the 6th generation. While those aren't bad, some of them had transmission and suspension issues, so pretty much everyone ran from those to the 4th generation Camry. IMO, these (this generation and the one that followed) Accord wagons look much better than the 3rd generation Camry wagon.

Holy crap still has the factory tape deck. Tapes are making a comeback in certain genres of music; lo-fi, vaporwave etc...
Just a few points of interest that were not mentioned in video: the car has a rear window wiper, motorized collapsible antenna, and the rear speakers are located in the headliner so as not to take up any space in the cargo area. Great stuff from Honda.
    Good purchase Brody!

RCR has a review where a guy was buying a manual wagon, and the sellers house caught fire before the transaction. Ended up scorching the driver side, but the guy wanted it so bad he still didn’t pull out of the deal. Heck this must have been more than 5 years ago. Things are super sought after and if I could find one I’d snatch it up.
