Well, that's the game's greatest issue. Making plat used to be challenging and fun. People would go through hours of endless missions to make tons of plat, and it was really worth it to push your build to the max. Now you'd be better off getting a fucking job, since at least 50% of the game is useless chores that nobody wants to do and will literally pay people plat just to skip them. It's sad to see how boring and unrewarding the game has become.

The funny thing about discounts. If you stop playing warframe for a few weeks, your daily reward will be changed with a 75% discount. Have I use them every time I got them? Most I didn't, but there has been times when I start the game, get the 75% discount, stop playing for a few weeks, launch it again, another 75%, repeat.
the fact that you can easily make platinum in warframe is one of the factors that makes this game great for me, thank god I could sell lots of unveiled riven mods back when I started palyed and that way I got most of the slots and reactors for my frames, i literally have all frames and all by playing without spending money on it, I will buy plat when I get money , to show my appreciation for the game and give some to the devs cus this game is awesome!
I love that Warframe has many game modes that each player can enjoy. And what you said in the last part is absolutely right: Farm using the method that you find fun, which also help prevent burnout. Case in point, I hate doing eidolons but I adore relic farming and cracking. If ever, I want to have the old warframe arcanes, instead of being stressed out farming eidolons (and dying bit by bit inside in the process), I just farm relics, sell the parts for plat and then buy the arcanes instead. It will take a while to get enough plat for arcanes but at least I'm having fun with relics.
I'm in the same boat! I don't mind Eidolon hunts in the grand scheme, but there is no way in hell i'm doing enough to max an arcane I like. You know what I do like? Void Fissures, Disruption, and Chrysalith bounties. I got hundreds of voidplumes, a real fun disruption build, and enough relics to Scrooge McDuck-dive in. So I just spent a day doing things that are actually fun, and then bought the arcane.

Another tip is: check your mod collection. There's a high chance you have some duplicate and easily sellable mod in there that you picked up and didn't notice.
@@proaxel7003 A decent option are mods that provide multi shot, status dmg and chance (e.g. Rime Rounds, Thermite Rounds, jolt etc.) crit chance (critcal delay), or even some niche stuff like blast radius for weapons like Glaive Prime or Epitaph. Also, due to Wisp Prime being in high demand, Fused Reservoir (or any warframe augment in general) is quite good to sell if you've got the right syndicate and enough standing. Easy 10 - 15 plat per sale (so far for me at least. 9/10 times, it's them offering that price too). Though, the best thing you can really do is filter trade chat with wtb, exclude wts, and wait for someone to post what they're wanting to buy. I'm very newbie-ish to trading, but this weekend I've made the most I ever have (little over 180, none of which were Wisp prime parts). Just don't get impatient and undersell your items or mods. Someone will come along for that 1 thing you have that no one else in trade seems to have, or notice yet. Good luck!

Or if you want something less reliant on rng (as both of them as 1% and 5% drop respectively), hemorrhage or internal bleeding, both stacks quite easily if you ran railjack often, sells the same as augment mods

Last time I did it I was able to get enough to buy the drifter's weapon pack, which is 800p.
Its totally true, setting aside just a little bit of your spending money can get you enough platinum to last years if all youre buying are inventory slots and the occasional catalyst/reactor. All the platinum in circulation originated with real money purchases.
my go to method is just piling up veiled rivens until i have at least 6. riven slivers, sorties (whenever i care enough to run them), duviri, steel path. unless there's an inflation (which had happened before lol) you can get at least 20 plat for veiled melee and rifle rivens and 6 for pistol ones. i know you can theoretically make more plat by opening and rerolling rivens, but the entire riven system is a glorified slot machine which i refuse to interact with, and im more than fine with ~120 plat once a month or so. it works well enough if you already have most things you might want and just wanna passively stock up on plat in case you need it for slots/new items.
another popular method is endo/credit farming. by farming tons of credits in profit taker runs on dobble credit weekend and farming endo by doing arena with a propper team in sp and mod drop chance booster u can get up to 90k endo an hour. if u buy rank 0 galvanized/primed/archon mods and sell them at max rank u can make 100 plat per mod max, usually like 85 plat. that makes u up to 200 plat an hour. definitly worth mentioning
@@marxytheoni1106 In case you never found out, Zariman bounties can easily give 2000 endo on the first part, with a chance to drop an additional 3000. Do that over and over for an hour with a powerful and fast Warframe (say, Titania) and that's a TON of Endo for maxing out high rank mods. They're likely doing that.

1:57 if you're willing to wait for months, you can actually farm 4 Syndicates at a time with some careful pledging and planning I pledged to Steel Meridian first, then Suda once I got Rank 5 in Red Veil. This let me level Steel, Suda, Veil, and Hexis, but takes considerably longer than just doing 3 Syndicates, as farming the 2nd Syndicate will be done minimally if at all to ensure positive gains for the 4th Syndicate Also, Veil + Meridian + Suda is the most guaranteed because Velocitus parts are the most in-demand of the Syndicate Archwing parts
I mean this in an encouraging way, but It doesn't take months! It's fairly easy to do, if you can remember to swap your pledge between two syndicates and only do missions from those two syndicates. It can take like, *a* month.

Honestly? Selling Prime sets and Junk is honestly one the better way to go about it. Everytime a capture is in rotation, I’ll run it for about an hour or so. It nets me junk for Baro/selling, and entire sets if I’m lucky. Sold a Harrow Prime set for 120 just the other day. Farmed out Wisp and sold her for 215 the first day she dropped. Once there are no captures in rotation, I go to Arbitrations and grind those out for however long it takes me to get at least one Galvanized mod. I max them and sell them for a pretty good amount too. Those and Archon Mods.

With my $9 an hour salary at 20 hours a week, I’ve been able to turn that into 3000 plat a week, even more with a discount code! At first I won’t lie it was pretty difficult keeping that plat grind up for the first few weeks what with my wife screaming at me that I’m neglecting both her and our baby, but she eventually stopped. She must have finally realized that the grind waits for no one! Come to think of it, I haven’t seen her or the baby in several weeks, she must really be out there putting in her all! Although I have noticed my house isn’t as nice looking without her here.

I typically like selling prime sets for platinum, but man the scalpers lately (at least on xbox) make it so annoying to do. Like, i get it, buy low sell high IS an effective strategy. It just gets annoying when you have a SET price you say you want to sell at, and then scalpers come in and dm you absurd bs like "I'll buy that FULL shade prime set for 20p". . . Absurd offers like 20p for full sets is annoying af.
Honestly the best way to make platinum is to spend money if your financial situation permits it. As a f2p game warframe relies on platinum purchases and there’s no shame in using the coupons you get for daily logins. Sure you can get all your plat the hard way, spend 50 hours grinding in game or just put aside 3-4 hours of your wage and have a boat load of plat for whatever you want.
Pro tip: do not buy anything but nitain extract from nightwave until you have at least 25 so you never have to worry about not having enough. It’s a pain in the ass if you run out without realizing it.
The fastest one really is getting a job. I mean just picture how long it takes to farm up a prime set, even with radshare, ideally, HOURS. All for less than 100 plat. In one hour, even in the worst case scenario, you do some tasks around your job, learn/refine some useful life skills, light exercise, and you get 15 bucks. The efficiency is insane. I farm plat until the SECOND it becomes boring, at that point I'm just working, and I love my actual job more than I do this long-winded looters shooter.
The get a job is so real, you’d be better off spending that time that you spend grinding on a job and getting more platinum and extra cash as well, that’s what I do for prime deals and when coupons come out so, I can just buy a lot for only like 80 bucks every couple weeks
Net minimum wage in my Canadian province is equivalent to 8.69usd/h. A pack of 1000 plat is officially sold for 50usd, which would take 5.75h to make. And if you hold on to your meager earnings until you get 50%-off login reward this drops to 2.87h for 1000p = 348p/h. In this case it only takes a single 3-hour shift at minimum wage to make 1000 plat a week. (or more than double that by getting the 4300p/200$ pack at 75%-off for a ratio of 748p/h) You can make plat here and there by selling the things you don't want, but I don't see any reason to "farm" plat in-game; considering you'll also spend hours farming millions of credits to pay for all those trades.
I hate that it’s all required to trade with players, there is no way to “earn” platinum, by doing something to earn platinum from the game, not selling things to other players.
You can be a merchant. Buy low sell high, target certain items and reselling them. Take a lot of time but you can use bots to auto listing on Warframe Market
For spy mission farming I personally love Kuva Fortress. It has the easiest vaults to hack and gives off a range of mods, neo/meso relics, and a pretty decent affinity gain. What I love about it, is that it's extremely easy to optimize ANY frame for this farm, even unranked. As long as you have Untraceable on your parazon (and preferably Runtime, as well. You can get both from this mission if you don't have them yet), you're basically good to go. 15 sec invisibility from every console is more than enough for any of the vaults (some have multiple consoles). Just throw whatever movement-bonus mods/arcanes you have on your frame to save time. I've managed to bring it down to 4 min per run even with unoptimized frames. It takes a while to get used to the lovely kuva tileset, though.
I gave up trading for plat last year, I got a job and not a lot of time so now i'm buying all my plat. I'm MR 33 anyway so im not starving for slots anyway.
So. in summary: Play game, sell excess. I'm being reductive, especially cause you can even kinda do it the other way around by doing the most efficient things to get plat, in order to then skip other stuff. That can be more efficient even after the conversion of the deal is taken into account, but I'd guess the pricing mostly follows suit. Much more relevant for most, what do YOU like and dislike doing? Others won't share these values, so you can personally benefit when you differ from a norm. You figured out spy is easy and you like it, so you sell that stuff. You dislike a certain syndicate's grind that others don't mind, you buy those cheap. Personally, I can get lost in survival, so I'm naturally stockpiling everything to do with that. I am also in the process of completing and gaining excess in most of the game, though, so that'll give me some goodies in the long-term. I like having access to it all, cause it's simply that much easier to find good deals. Also, one thing gets nerfed or replaced etc. etc. etc., and you didn't have all your eggs in that basket because you branched out. Once I'm at that point, I also have that much extra room to focus on the latest most hyped things when they come out. I'll naturally be less occupied kitting myself out, so more time for deals.
Thoughts on using Parallax's Air Support Function in Corpus Spy/Sabatoge, I'm trying to get some caches or find some plumes, does it actually provide all locations map wide?
It's a 150m radius from the point you deployed it at, so fairly large, but far from map wide. You'll eventually get a feel which rooms are better to cast it at compared to other. It sadly doesn't work on sabotage caches.
I always say to people "go and farm the things that you yourself woulddnt want to do" because they are likely the things that someone is going to want to buy to skip the grind
If I'm paying money to skip playing part of the game, why would I play the game at all? If a company has made it the least painful way to play being not playing, that's a bad sign. Might be the most efficient way to get plat, but it takes the enjoyment out of a game for me if you can spend money to replace something you get from playing, even assuming I didn't care about the amount spent. I get much more enjoyment staying f2p in games.
The way I see it, Warframe is a pay-to-win game, but you can easily make other people pay for you, which makes it not as bad as other similar games. If I couldn't give someone a mod or prime part in exchange for the plat to buy Warframe/weapon slots or potatoes, I would have dropped the game long ago.
The best way to get plat, is to buy 1000p with 75% discount, and if you can't afford 12,5$ to buy it you may need to uninstall the game and start farming money in your real life.
The best method: Get a job. The community: No, no, he's got a point. But to be honest, buying it so you can add more to the economy for the specific platform you are in is good on it's own for trading with people that have the mods or prime parts you don't currently have. And when you do have them, you can build yourself up so you can make it for free.
Most of it irrelevant and don't woth your time. I have 89k platinum, and can confirm - my way to get it so much easier and better, and I never share it. (4-5k p for week, 20-25h for all)

At first I won’t lie it was pretty difficult keeping that plat grind up for the first few weeks what with my wife screaming at me that I’m neglecting both her and our baby, but she eventually stopped. She must have finally realized that the grind waits for no one! Come to think of it, I haven’t seen her or the baby in several weeks, she must really be out there putting in her all! Although I have noticed my house isn’t as nice looking without her here.

I typically like selling prime sets for platinum, but man the scalpers lately (at least on xbox) make it so annoying to do. Like, i get it, buy low sell high IS an effective strategy. It just gets annoying when you have a SET price you say you want to sell at, and then scalpers come in and dm you absurd bs like "I'll buy that FULL shade prime set for 20p". . .
Absurd offers like 20p for full sets is annoying af.

Best plat per hour for me are the vaults. Can get 250-300 per hour by doing 1 min runs and selling for 15/20p each
Honestly the best way to make platinum is to spend money if your financial situation permits it. As a f2p game warframe relies on platinum purchases and there’s no shame in using the coupons you get for daily logins. Sure you can get all your plat the hard way, spend 50 hours grinding in game or just put aside 3-4 hours of your wage and have a boat load of plat for whatever you want.

Pro tip: do not buy anything but nitain extract from nightwave until you have at least 25 so you never have to worry about not having enough. It’s a pain in the ass if you run out without realizing it.
The fastest one really is getting a job. I mean just picture how long it takes to farm up a prime set, even with radshare, ideally, HOURS. All for less than 100 plat. In one hour, even in the worst case scenario, you do some tasks around your job, learn/refine some useful life skills, light exercise, and you get 15 bucks. The efficiency is insane. I farm plat until the SECOND it becomes boring, at that point I'm just working, and I love my actual job more than I do this long-winded looters shooter.

The get a job is so real, you’d be better off spending that time that you spend grinding on a job and getting more platinum and extra cash as well, that’s what I do for prime deals and when coupons come out so, I can just buy a lot for only like 80 bucks every couple weeks
Net minimum wage in my Canadian province is equivalent to 8.69usd/h. A pack of 1000 plat is officially sold for 50usd, which would take 5.75h to make. And if you hold on to your meager earnings until you get 50%-off login reward this drops to 2.87h for 1000p = 348p/h. In this case it only takes a single 3-hour shift at minimum wage to make 1000 plat a week. (or more than double that by getting the 4300p/200$ pack at 75%-off for a ratio of 748p/h)
You can make plat here and there by selling the things you don't want, but I don't see any reason to "farm" plat in-game; considering you'll also spend hours farming millions of credits to pay for all those trades.

You can be a merchant. Buy low sell high, target certain items and reselling them. Take a lot of time but you can use bots to auto listing on Warframe Market

For spy mission farming I personally love Kuva Fortress. It has the easiest vaults to hack and gives off a range of mods, neo/meso relics, and a pretty decent affinity gain.
What I love about it, is that it's extremely easy to optimize ANY frame for this farm, even unranked. As long as you have Untraceable on your parazon (and preferably Runtime, as well. You can get both from this mission if you don't have them yet), you're basically good to go. 15 sec invisibility from every console is more than enough for any of the vaults (some have multiple consoles). Just throw whatever movement-bonus mods/arcanes you have on your frame to save time. I've managed to bring it down to 4 min per run even with unoptimized frames. It takes a while to get used to the lovely kuva tileset, though.
I gave up trading for plat last year, I got a job and not a lot of time so now i'm buying all my plat. I'm MR 33 anyway so im not starving for slots anyway.

So. in summary: Play game, sell excess. I'm being reductive, especially cause you can even kinda do it the other way around by doing the most efficient things to get plat, in order to then skip other stuff. That can be more efficient even after the conversion of the deal is taken into account, but I'd guess the pricing mostly follows suit. Much more relevant for most, what do YOU like and dislike doing? Others won't share these values, so you can personally benefit when you differ from a norm. You figured out spy is easy and you like it, so you sell that stuff. You dislike a certain syndicate's grind that others don't mind, you buy those cheap.
Personally, I can get lost in survival, so I'm naturally stockpiling everything to do with that. I am also in the process of completing and gaining excess in most of the game, though, so that'll give me some goodies in the long-term. I like having access to it all, cause it's simply that much easier to find good deals. Also, one thing gets nerfed or replaced etc. etc. etc., and you didn't have all your eggs in that basket because you branched out. Once I'm at that point, I also have that much extra room to focus on the latest most hyped things when they come out. I'll naturally be less occupied kitting myself out, so more time for deals.

It's a 150m radius from the point you deployed it at, so fairly large, but far from map wide.
You'll eventually get a feel which rooms are better to cast it at compared to other.
It sadly doesn't work on sabotage caches.

If I'm paying money to skip playing part of the game, why would I play the game at all? If a company has made it the least painful way to play being not playing, that's a bad sign. Might be the most efficient way to get plat, but it takes the enjoyment out of a game for me if you can spend money to replace something you get from playing, even assuming I didn't care about the amount spent. I get much more enjoyment staying f2p in games.

The way I see it, Warframe is a pay-to-win game, but you can easily make other people pay for you, which makes it not as bad as other similar games. If I couldn't give someone a mod or prime part in exchange for the plat to buy Warframe/weapon slots or potatoes, I would have dropped the game long ago.
