Love this game, takes me back to 2006. An excited little boy opening his ps3 and playing a High Definition (at the time) game. Just the memories are great.
I know that a lot of youtubers like to talk during their game play. But this guy (Full Playthroughs) just won't shut up. Never have I met someone so in love with their own voice.
I wish they'd bring back this series for current gen, imagine how good it could look? The set pieces were way fun. Especially fighting the giant thing in Resistance 2.
Bought this with my PS3 with a job I had at Morrisons. Quit as soon as I had the money to buy the console. That summer I co-oped this with a friend. Brilliant times. I was 15 years old.
Fax just thought about this game and when I used to play 1 and 2 all the time on my PS3 9 years ago. Wish they remastered. Would definitely pay to play it again remastered

Just recently purchased this game for the first time running on my 60gb Fat PS3 and boy oh boy the game still holds up well almost 15 years later! The graphics still hold up well for todays standards, and the audio is really good especially when played on a home theater setup.
It looks like one of those generic FPS games from the time period, FPS games like Half Life, Halo, even COD had more enemy variety, weapon variety and better stories.. The PS3 controller was also awful for FPS shooters
It did say only the upper echelons of the government knew of them. It would make sense that they would be named by whatever intelligence services the government had at the time

My second PS3 Game. First was Killzone 2. Sgt Hale should be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and the Victoria's Cross. He was the only Lone Wolf went beyond the Call of Duty.

Ah,the memories... It was more than 10 years ago when i recieved that phonecall... It was a nasty and blurry morning as i recall,but it sure was a weekend so no school for young me! Just for the brief moment i thought that a day can't be as shitty and as good,than...A phone rang like crazy. Answered it,still unaware of my,freshly woken up state,own thoughts-it was my best friends voice over the line,screaming "I'VE GOT A PS3 I'VE GOT A PS3 " and as quick as a blink of an eye i was lacing up my shoes anxiously,running throught the wild streets of north Bačka,impatiend for the monument i'm about to worship for the next couple of days. And there i was my pals,looking at it,touching it,ready to traverse into the unknown... But,dude said he only got fifa with it,and still didn't test it... So the next thing you see are two kids playing with cables,with absolutly zero knowledge about this huge electronic masterpiece lying in our hands. We each had a modded ps2,since we're living in a really poor country,that was the best we had and we were happy with it. Better a single potato than none am i right? His dad was working as border police,and as we are living in a fairly corrupted doomsday hole called Serbia,so he stealed one for us,which was at the time an epic act,but not as much now that i think about it. So sorry someone who got short for a ps3! Hours passed by,and somehow we were able to plug in two cables and boot up the thing. But,we didn't get a loading screen,no... We got ourselves a game!!! But wait?! Wasn't there just a single FIFA game and nothing else,we thought to ourselves? And there it was,jammed into a ps3,ready to be played-a disc was loaded. Soon,the scene that took place in front of our eyes would change my life,forever... In front of us was a menu that asks us if we want to begin this journey. "Sure" we thought,than quickly,pressed X to begin a New Game... So,the game boots up,and for the rest of the story i need you to imagine two kids,in a dark room,with a single controller,poor,hungry and with no-one aroung...

My friend, this is not a Leroy Jenkins FPS, this is a tactical, strategic, planning and ruthless FPS that intends to kick your controller to the nearest wall, and it's worth buying! Insomniac did one hell of a job on their first FPS, to the point where it's still worth getting a PS3 to this day! Although, I originally wanted to get a 360, on second thought, a PS3 have much more. Like, nostalgia games, amazing games, it did kinda beat Microsoft at their own game, but only GT6 as the Racing Game apart from Motorstorm...
Seriously games before are quite unique and has a very deep storyline than most on today's games. I mean most on today's games are focused on how realistic they can be rather than being unique
He likes to spam throw grenades and stand out in the open. He also only likes to use the rifles, hates the sapper despite it being op, and doesn't use alt fire. I don't think he even reads the weapon descriptions because he doesn't take advantage of the augers abilities until he realizes the enemy is shooting through walls. Guys terrible.

you sure you not playing on a controller? because that horizontal movement with the crosshairs without ANY vertical movement is signature game-pad/controller aiming. this def looks like a mouse and keyboard game. all in all... i def want a piece of this action. i cant believe i never heard of this game.. looks like great fun. thanks for the post.
This game was so good online back in the early PS3 days, I remember this one dude showing me this glitch on a church map I think, and you could clip a wall and fly or something, such good memories, underrated trilogy, reminds me a lot of the Killzone trilogy, all great games, all published by Sony, but I don't think any really sold like crazy, they always got good reviews but just about managed to scrape by it seemed, it's weird, never got the love the Uncharted series or God Of War did
