      SparkitSpartan But look at the fact that when he was with Cleveland he was more explosive because he was at a young age, and now that he is 28 he is at the age at which he looks more into his jump shot rather than dunking over defenders. He tries to prevent from getting injured.

      First, he takes less risk, because he has better teammates, so, less big solo accelerations. Then, he's older now. You'll tell me that he's not that old, but I think that 24-25 are the ideal age for explosivity. After that, it already decrease, but players can stay at their best lvl because of experience. But in my opinion, it doesn't start to decrease at 30, like most people think, but more at 26-27. It's just that at 30, more details of your game are degrading.
      But I'm not an expert.

    Lebron would be a great player for the Spurs because of his high basketball IQ, great court vision, and his elite passing ability. He would pick up Pop's system very quickly and can remember almost all the plays from the playbook and knows how to run them very effectively. He is like the Peyton Manning of basketball. His greatest trade mark is his unselfishness. He would also give an athletic boost to a team known for being unathletic. His Jordan-like scoring could obviously help them as well.

    • @joaomarquesfaisca2510
      @joaomarquesfaisca2510 10 лет назад +9

      I think they have Kawhi to reverse that "unathletic" thought about the Spurs, even more now that he's become the MVP, but yes, if LeBron goes to San Antonio they'd be a pretty unstoppable team.

    • @spencerj4677
      @spencerj4677 10 лет назад +17

      You sound like someone who knows absolutely nothing, trying to sound like you know something. First of all Jordan like scoring? Lol. Jordan is the greatest scorer of all time. 10 scoring titles, scored over 60 5 times, 50 pt games he has 34, 40 pt games 172. And he still holds the record for highest career ppg average at 30.1 per. Not to mention this was all against a better defensive era where there was no defensive three seconds and you could hand check all day. Plus in that era there was no flopping, and that seems to be how LeBron gets a lot of his points, on the line after a flop. Plus Jordan never scored less then 10 points in the playoffs. LeBron has done it twice in the finals! He's 2 of 5 for finals appearances. Jordan is 6 of 6! Look at Jordan's finals averages they're ridiculous.he averaged 33.6 per finals game. He showed up every game. Now to the spurs remark. LeBron is a cocky prick, who dissed his hometown and had to meet up with his boy friend wade to get a title. Where as the spurs have humble, unselfish chemistry that has been built and not bought. Pop has the control over that team, whereas LeBron always wants to be the center of attention. Why so you think he set up a huge interview with ESPN to announce his decision..

    • @TheOnlyChristasaurus
      @TheOnlyChristasaurus 10 лет назад +15

      Spencer Grafing You are a fucking moron! Last I checked it takes more than 1 person to win a Championship. Put Jordan on any of those LeBron teams and He has only 2 or 3 rings. Jordan is a better scorer but LeBron passes the damn ball even when he doesn't have to. He plays defense every time down the court not just in crunch time. Also LeBron will go down as the greatest player ever! He will pass MJ in points, and he already has in assists. There is more to the game than one person scoring. And if rings is all that matters, Bill Russell is a god and MJ and LeBron for that matter are scrubs.

    • @Bayareabob

    Kobe and Lebron are not comparable, they are different type of players with different mindset on how the game is suppose to be played, they both accomplished many great things with that different mindset and that's what makes them great, i believe this is why i love watching basketball, with that said, there will never be a verdict on who's better, some people will like Lebron's playing style more and some like kobe more, can't we just be happy we as a generation are lucky enough to witness their greatness?

    I am a fan of Lebron. Always have been, always will be. Fans and Haters need to shutup.
    Bottom line:
    -Lebron does Flop(Mainly in his Miami days)
    -He became a free agent and went to the Heat
    -He choked against the Mavs
    -He does whine about calls, but who can blame him when he's getting hammered in the paint and doesn't get a call because he absorbs the contact. Also it's just his personality to be a very loud and talkative person so his complaining about calls is disliked by non Lebron fans
    But people make mistakes. stop hating because it's the cool thiing to do. just admire greatness.

Chicago was built so well that his scoring & defense was all the truly needed but he averaged 11.5 assists in the finals one year because they needed his playmaking ability. MJ & Bron the two most well rounded players of all time no doubt though. If Bron wins a few more rings he'll be top 5 no debate

    I love how Steph Curry Fan Boys love to compare Curry to Lebron, back when Lebron was winning 60+ games every season with Drew Gooden, Eric Snow, and Larry Hughes and Zydrunas IIgauskas. You guys probably don't know any of the guys that I listed not because you guys probably just started watching basketball last year (warrior fans est.2014) but because they were all a bunch of no name players who were winning 16 games a year before Lebron came along. Lets compare Curry team when they won the Championship Clay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut, Andre Iguodala, David Lee. What do they have in common all of them are All-Stars compared to a bunch of scrubs Lebron had to play with did I mention in 2008 Lebron went 66-16 and with those scrubs and went to the Finals. Im not taking anything away from Steph he's a good player just not a player who can win with some of the teams Lebron has been dealt with. Steph will always be mentioned has one of the greatest shooters but he will never be in the talk for greatest players ever.

      @chanwenhaocaleb6645 8 лет назад +6

      i agree and also another thing is i doubt stephen curey can play alongside players like kobe lebron kd etc. tbh the reason why steph is "good" is cuz he can outshine in warriors. The rest of the team is way weaker therefore he seems far more superior than them cuz all they do is just give him the ball and he mainly does it himself. If his teammates were like lebron etc. he'd look super inferior to them as he's playing with ppl "on his level" or better than him. So in actually fact, he is a pro when he's with a team of noobs but he is a noob when he's with a team of pros. I'm not saying that warriors are noobs etc. I'm just saying that the warrior's members are weaker than steph. And i'm not saying steph is weak. He is good no doubt about it and the warrior's are good as they are able to give him the ball and make him open for threes and all his other shots. But if u put steph with lebron etc. i assure u the results will definitely be different

      @cameronkessler1728 7 лет назад +1

      Trent F So by that logic, more players should be jumping over other players for 'oops' since they are more apt to clearing the vertical. Right?

    • @trentf4891

      I agree, he is a spectacular player but him like some other players, which have been amazing during the last 10 years, would have a rough time on the league during the 80s and 90s. Simply the best players ever on the NBA played during those 20 years!
      With that being said he is one of the best players in activity along with Kobe!
      People always look at stats or great play to judge a player, but the NBA is more than stats and great plays! I'd love see LeBron trying a slam dunk over a 25 years old Carl Malone or Olajuwon or Kareem, or trying make a steal to Stockton or being smashed in the face by a dunk from Kemp or trying to take a rebound with Barkley or Rodman on the court, I could go on and on naming amazing players, but believe me no question on his capabilities and drive on and off the court (he is a star), but even if James is accounted better than Jordan by some (which is false even by the stats and after all not relevant!) and even if he's one of the best players of the history and he's gonna go on the Hall of Fame and all, with him starting his career during the 80s, he would have had a very hard time with those guys.
      I'm sorry people, but I'm right!

      alexlanza79 I completely see your side and definitely agree but if LeBron grew up in that era he would have adapted completely different. The league from the start would have toughened him up and molded him into a different player. If he had the drive he could be just as great if not better than he is now. Or he could have been worse. Who knows. Nobody is right!

      Anyway, of course nobody is right. My statement was really my opinion but I said it that way to be a little bit provocative, to me it's just nice to see each other opinions, not to argue or insult one another, but to have fun! If we think about in an hypothetical youtube discussion in the middle 80s, what would have happened if a young guy would say that Michael Jordan was best than Julius Erving on dunks or that Kareem was better than Chamberlain? Maybe somebody would say the same stuff I said before, right?
      What I believe is that there are champions in any era and they can't be compared over different decades 'cause not only the game is different in different eras, but also the training, the diet (now all big players have personal trainers and nutritionist that study their physiology to give them the best training and diet!), the number of teams in the league, etc; all things that make the comparison very very difficult to do. You can compare maybe one specific play against another, but not a whole career!
      For example I doubt we'll see a player with an average of 50 points per game in a season, like Wilt Chamberlain did, 'cause the game back then was mainly his game, no way that any player can now deliver 50 ppg, not even 37 (like Jordan did), or make 55 reb in a single game (again, Wilt record!) there are more capable players now, and from my prospective they all play (like LeBron and Kobe and all the others) more and more a team game so that's why they can't achieve those numbers, but anyhow are all big basketball stars!

      Are you insane? Lebron is one of the most athletic players in NBA history. He would have adapted to the league back then just like every player did. He would be overshadowed by MJ of course but he would still be a dominant force in the league.

    LeBron's best plays were with the Cavs. LeBron's best moments have been with Miami.

      But they have his 61 point game, that was after he dunked over terry, unless I'm missing something?

      lebrons dunk over terry was uploaded on 18 Mar 2013 by the NBA, which is roughly a month after this compilation was released. Just google his 61 pt game and you'll get a date aswell (I can't, im on my mobile phone with a bad internet connection...)

      It was a technical for taunting. The Miami period was generally an embarrassment to both Lebron and the league in the way it went down and how he conducted himself that he's now put behind him.
      You don't see many top plays from him from that period because no one really liked him (even the Miami fans), he was a flopping, juicing, taunting, intermittently choking bully, and the point of the play is the feeling it creates in you. It's hard to create good feelings in viewers when you're that type of person.
