  • ‪@donfranktv‬ explores Cova de Can Marca caves located in the north of the island near Port de San Miguel.
Can Marçà is an impressive cave that's over 100,000 years old and was historically used by pirates.
This cave was historically discovered by groups of smugglers who used it to hide their contraband and you can still see the markings they made on the walls to guide their way in the dark.
The cave is located in a natural environment with incomparable views of the bay, with the Murada and Ferradura islands in front. The Cova de Can Marçà is one of the main tourist attractions of Ibiza, being undoubtedly the most important on the island. The whims of nature have left us some amazing formations, lakes and surroundings for their beauty.

Thanks Dave, it was a fascinating place, smugglers would hide tobacco, coffee and alcohol in there. The formations that have built over 10s of thousands of years is something else. Thanks for watching 🙂
