Yeah. I don't watch firebat for hearthstone. I watch his vifs because he's chill, informative, and fun. If he moved to a different game, I'd watch it without a doubt.
Agreed, I watch Firebat for his personality and how informative he is, would happily watch him play anything.
I actually preferred his Autochess phase. He's also the only HS content creator I watch at this point + his YT videos are just the best with editing

Firebat's personality has definitely been blooming on stream over the past couple of years (I think Omni has been real good for him) and at this point he's just an awesome streamer period.
Wtfff why would Blizzard pull that system? I can’t imagine the amount of money they lost even compared to how much money content producers make for them. Increasingly it feels like the death of hearthstone is coming

I still can't believe nobody can put out a better digital CCG after all these years, Hearthstone only gets away with everything because it came in at the ground floor and all of the competition has been pathetically weak for various stupid reasons. Like literally just take the same ruleset, tone the RNG and infinite value generation waaaaay down, release new content frequently and balance patches twice as often as that. You don't need any weird gimmicks or anything, just do what they tried to do and do it better this time.
I've been over this game for a year or so now but there's nothing else to turn to, it's like some weird domestic abuse situation but with a videogame. I'm fine if they want to pull the plug any day now but holy shit can someone competent please make a substitute that isn't terrible before that happens?

@@TheSquareOnes Someone is trying to make a game that is that right now, still in early phases, It's called Chroma: Bloom and Blight.
They technically have a marketing gimmick (you have all the cards for free and monetization is through cosmetics) and it's a little Magic-y (it has a color system instead of classes) but it is very much a straight digital CCG and one of the creator's rules is that draw rng is the only rng.

Wait... Blizzard really pulled the plug on their associate links? At this point, I'm beginning to question if they even HAVE a PR team. This is by far the worst time for them to have done so (unless they did it a while back without me hearing, which would still be bad but less so). If anything, those things should have been boosted given the current fiasco

A huge company like Blizzard typically moves at a glacial pace when it comes to non-emergency business decisions like nixing associate links. I assume this was a decision made long ago that's finally being acted upon and the timing was just an unlucky circumstance. Still very lame but probably not something they could put on hold at this point.

Ricky Muzakki What has it to do with China tho? I quit HS 3 years ago coz the overpriced packs and low chance of getting legendaries. Not saying blizzard is the smartest, but China is one of the largest market. Most of the 80s and 90s generations in China grew up with warcraft3, Starcraft, WoW etc. it’s a rational decision they target China to get money
@@ericli9611 they're losing a massive amount of players in America to keep China happy, which is 9 percent of their money vs the 54 (?) Ish percent of the money America is, and other countries of course. Their decisions are made on a potential future with China's market that probably won't happen anyway tbh, so there's no real aspect of it that is very smart

Of course people have freedom of speech, u can say whatever u want, but everything has consequences. Western media consider Chinese gov is persecuting Hong Kong. Some individuals want so called “liberation” for Hong Kong. But Hong Kong was legally returned to China by British gov in 1997, after 99 years of colonization. Same issue is happening in Spain, Catalonia tried to be independent from Spain and its gov can never allow that. Thx for ur patience to read this

Such bad design: Do you have removal ? Yes -> win the game . No -> lose the game
Paul Newton the problem is the way evolve and quest shaman function and how people who play those decks choose to mulligan. they expect to play desert hare and evolve by turn 4 and win every single time. They have tools like earth shock, hex, but either dont keep them or don't even put them in their deck in favor of more easy wins. Like the second opponent was running 2 soul of the murlocs just so he could get evolves off of spirit of the frog and have more targets stick.

There's really wasn't much competition. For the most part duelyst and magic had the best chance of taking over but their UI was ass and they didn't have much of an online following like blizzard does

I think Blizzard and Bethesda and EA are just trying to see who has the bigger schlong when it comes to annihilating their reputation to their playerbase. Bethesda has a very broken Fallout 76 right now and instead of fixing it, they are offering private servers with no bug fixes but you have to pay for them and the quality is worse than the public servers. Blizzard is nuking their reputation by all means possible. And EA is standing at the freeway exit with a sign asking if we will pay for unfinished products like they are some startup company who needs donations to create games. Wtf is wrong with video games these days. Why does Fortnite have the best player/developer support? These questions plague me in my straw hut in the rice fields as helicopters fly over head. I wake to the sound of Fortunate Son and news of more PR disasters of large game developers. We need change. Only Ugandan Knuckles may save us, as when he roamed the lands... the lands were a respected place. He absorbed all the toxicness in this world and with his death came the plague of garbage games... Just my opinion: I don't think Firebat was complaining because he needs the money. I think he's complaining because it feels bad. He might feel disrespected, but either way it's just "wow they don't care about me despite the fact that I have promoted their game for 5+ years."

They are completely justified in their actions when a player broke rules that were specifically written, complete with specific punishments
