Old codger here and when I raced we rode with toe clips. The new non toe clip pedals were simply referred to as clipless when they came in. I remember buying my first pair of LOOk clipless pedals and still have them. I'm not sure if you're taking the piss but thought I'd post anyway.
In the old days we used toe clips and straps to hold the feet on the pedals . So when the new system came in was called clipless as there was no toe clip
Ah! Thank you! it's funny because it would've made complete sense at the time, but doesn't make sense now, yet it's stuck, I love the evolution of language! 😁🚲

The opposite of the fact. Really confusing and extremely irrational

On the subject of cleats. Any advice on how to set up your cleats properly?
Will do a vid on that for sure 😀👊
Serafina, please come to Whistler in BC, Canada for your future MTB needs. Plus, Vancouver is great for cycling!!
Yes yes yes! 😍 I have family there, looking forward to checking out the cycling one day in the hopefully not too distant future!
Try elbow and knee pads. i wear G-Form hip and butt pads too. Stick with Green trails to build confidence. Really enjoy MTBing
Seat up for climbing😊
