Hey! Becareful with the sound of the music at the end of the video : it's drastically and suddenly higher in volume than the rest. Nice video and advices as always!
@@GreyWizardInsights I agree, my wife is a night owl who sleeps in. If I'm listening to the video when she is asleep, I want the video to always have a similar volume. This is great series of videos. I've just discovered them and I'm really enjoying them.
TL;DR 1. use your movement wisely, usually this means moving to australia is on the table 2: polyps are cool use polyps (especially near nyarlathotep if going into areas with more monsters gaurding great old ones) 3: use madness, if possible use it to bring enemies to nyarlathotep or to attack other enemies 4: make sure nyarlathotep has monsters to take hits and get emissary of the outer gods pretty much as soon as possible 5: use harbinger as much as possible. you're playing an aggressive faction so be aggressive (duh) just keep tip 4 in mind bonus tip: when everyone's done pop a high priest and use thousand forms, nobody can really react to that.
When I played the ancients the other day, i gave the other players a 60 second overview including “my yothans are terrors” and reminded them they can’t be devoured but they don’t block GOOs from capturing cultists etc, but I totally forgot when I did this video. I really appreciate it!
Great vid as always man. As to the whole "CC not as good at higher player counts" argument, I feel it's not that he's any less viable or competitive. It's more that he's just not super dominant as he is at lower counts lol. Thanks for the Polyp tip, I never utilize them as well as I should. Maybe we'll c u at the Con!
one small detail with harbinger, its insanely strong against sleeper when sleeper has books. nyarlethotep can institute a perpetual cycle against the sleeper GOO where you choose to pain him every time and keep paining him to get energy.
I find it that the 10 power penalty compared to the need to attack where someone is weak make it almost impossible to win as nyarlathotep. Our games usually end round 4 and usually i dont get any power form thousand forms (yes i use it as i have my last point in the round). They always split the costs.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll adjust going forward!

I like your videos. Little reminder. Yothan is a terror, so polip can`t exempt it.

but his point remains. Even without being able to blank Yothans, polyps are still dope.

Gencon? I'm not going this year, or which con? I should be at gencon (and several other cons) next year!
I think Yothans are actually "Terrors" (not "Monsters"), so they can't be exempt from battle by a Polyp.

If you could wrap around the top and bottom of the board, the planet would be shaped like a doughnut.
The flat earth society is boring, if i’m ever going to join some conspiracy group like that i want to join the Krispy Kreme Earth Society!
I taught this game to a new person the other day and they asked the very same question: "Does the map wrap around from top to bottom?"
ROFL, I get that question all the time, it’s hilarious to me.
i always answer "No, because the world is a cylinder, not a torus."
